I understand that restaurants can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor customer service or rude behavior toward paying customers. If a business cannot manage being at full capacity, it should have a better system in place rather than taking frustration out on guests. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I usually like to order the egg flower soup, orange chicken, fried rice, and beef and broccoli dishes. The portions are still generous, and the prices are still great, which I appreciate. But sometimes the food itself comes out bland, or the soup tastes like it has been sitting around for a bit. We've never gotten sick from the food just to be clear, but the quality and flavor are not always as consistent as they used to be. We still love coming here because this restaurant has such a special place in our hearts, but it is sad to see how much it has changed. Even the interior feels outdated now, and the color and atmosphere seem like they've lost some of their old spark. Overall, Great Wall is still meaningful to me, and I'll probably continue coming back from time to time, but I do wish the food quality and atmosphere felt more like they used to.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I just discovered this place and we LOVE it! We too moved to the AV 7 years ago from the SFV and we were use to these types of portions. The food is yummy, the prices are FABULOUS and the portions HUGE! There is nothing glam about this place, but after a hard week of work and a long commute-I cannot wait to dine at this place. So good that I actually bought gift certificates for Christmas for other people that I know that enjoy eating at Dragon Express and my daughter is seriously thinking about having them cater her March 2010 wedding! Pros: -You get twice the amount of food that you would at Panda and its a lot cheaper. -They have the best orange chicken and thai tea (for a Chinese restaurant) in town. -Staff is really friendly and seems to know a lot of customers by name. Cons: -Don't deliver -Sometimes there are not enough seats -Sometimes the lines can be long during dinner rush. Conclusion: Even though it may take a while to either get your food or get a seat, the food is definitely worth the wait. After eating at this place I never want to go back to Panda. read more

I think MM has the wrong place. There is no way food there is sitting for long. With such generous portions the place is usually packed at dinnertime. There is no Boba, Hawaiian BBQ or rancid anything. Everything is fresh . This is certainly one of the best values in town. read more
