Found some pretty good Chinese food in Medford. The Szechuan dishes were really good. The La Zi Chicken had a really good kick. The Cumin Lamb, Chow Mein and Salt and Pepper wings were just standard. The Dry Pot Calamari was the star. Tender, lightly fried calamari with Szechuan spices were perfect. Potatoes in the dish didn't seem to belong. I don't know if I've ever had potato in a Chinese dish ever. Service was good and fast. Highly recommend this place if in Medford.

I like how many choices of Chinese dishes. Because I was there alone, so I only ordered one dish, eggplant, I would like to give 8.5/10.

Dragon Express showed potential for a 5 star review but some mistakes lowered this review to 3 stars. The night started with missing a table setting. Not a deal breaker but when you have to chase down your server after the food arrives is an issue. The timing of the food service was off. They sent the robot out dish by dish so one could eat while the rest watched. My La Zi Chicken was an afterthought. Everyone was eating and we had to ask the server to check on that dish. It took another 10 minutes to come out. And even then it was missing the rice. The standout dish was my granddaughter's Chow mein. It was some of the best we had tasted. The hot and sour soup was just okay as were the spring rolls. The La Zi Chicken had great flavor but was not as crispy as others I had tried before. Coors Light was not ice cold and water served with tiny metal cups was somewhat strange. Not bad but not great. Kind of average and therefore 3 stars.

You will get peppers galore with the La Tzi Chicken entree. I love it, but order with caution!

A common complaint in Southern Oregon is the lack of great Chinese restaurants, and we're lucky for Dragon Express to put those critics to rest. Now that we've had the opportunity to visit multiple times, I feel we can make a fair assessment of the overall menu, and Dragon Express is the emperor of Chinese food in the area. With a large menu that includes classic American Chinese options in addition to more authentic fare, this restaurant can be a crowd pleaser for a range of preferences. If you want to go with stateside standbys of orange chicken or broccoli beef, you can't go wrong. The dim sum offerings are solid: xiao long bao (soup dumplings), har gao (shrimp dumpling) or siu mai (mixed dumpling) are what you'd expect and will please the table. If you're feeling more adventurous or are banging on the table for 'authentic' options, there is a submenu for such a palate. I am semi-addicted to their La Tzi Chicken, which is like a peppercorn/chili infused and topped chicken plate. Strangely on the menu, it has no 'hot pepper' indicator, but trust me, it's more like 3 peppers. If you are a pepper belly like me, this is a great one, but otherwise, go tamer. Service always seems a bit slammed, but they do a solid job. It's probably because everyone is starting to discover this place. Takeout is a brisk business on top of the dine-in crowd. The ambience is a little meh, but that's what you get with a chinese restaurant built inside an old Bobbio's pizza location. This place is worth the drive for me. And yes, there are robots that assist in the service.

The food is so yummy and fresh. I ordered the Mar far chicken with fried rice and pot stickers which were so delicious. I will be coming back it's so darn good

    Mongolian Beef-

Fantastic Chinese food!! We ordered Egg Drop soup 10/10, Hot and Sour Soup 10/10. Mongolian Beef xtra hot 10/10 and sautéed cabbage xtra hot 10/10. Restaurant is very clean, staff extremely friendly, food arrived freshly cooked and hot. My new go to Chinese restaurant! Thank you so much!!

As a Chinese person living in the U.S., I have to give this restaurant a huge shout-out. Honestly, after spending so many years in both China and the United States, I've never come across a Chinese restaurant that does both American Chinese food and authentic Chinese cuisine this well. I had a chance to chat with the owner and learned that the two chefs in the kitchen are both experienced chefs from Sichuan, China. Finding a restaurant with this much character and genuine warmth in a small city like this is truly a blessing. One thing I really appreciate is that they thoughtfully offer both an American-style menu and an authentic Chinese menu. And to all my American friends reading this review: please give the authentic menu a try! As someone who grew up in China, I can confidently say that their authentic dishes are better than many of the expensive "authentic" Chinese restaurants I've visited in places like Los Angeles and New York, where there are much larger Chinese communities.

hands-down the most authentic Chinese spot in the valley! Their menu offers a wide range of dishes, from delicious xiao long bao to mouthwatering roasted duck, plus a variety of noodles and fried rice. Portions are generous--enough for 2-3 people per dish. I especially love their dim sum, noodles, and fried rice. The best part? Their food delivery is just as good as dining in, making it super convenient to enjoy at home!

Authentic Chinese cuisine, that's all I would say and ofc I am very satisfied with the taste and the overall dining experience (warm service, clean tables, etc.). 5 stars!

Delicious. Fast service . I also like the Chicken chow mein and the Thai tea. The wonton soup has delicious dumpling. The place is not overcrowded which is nice.

Our first visit to Dragon Express. This is a roomy, clean restaurant. A robotic serving tray will deliver your meals to the table. This was a first such experience for the three of us. The food? Excellent. We had fried rice, beans & steak, and orange chicken. Every entree is perfectly prepared and presented nicely. HIghly recommended.

Ordered via door dash and boy this is hot fresh and delicious. The La Zi chicken is a must-try dish. Spicy and flavorful and complex. I am very happy with my order!

They had really gone downhill with poor food quality and food running out. There were none of those problems today. There was an abundance of delicious food choices which were kept well stocked even though we were there at 3 pm between lunch and dinner. My friend doesn't eat red meat but there were ample chicken and seafood dishes to satisfy his hearty appetite. He remarked too on some of the unusual flavors~ everything wasn't bland and tasteless. I especially enjoyed several varieties of sushi as an appetizer before filling my plate with the hot food. Our table was kept cleared of our used plates as it was nice to start with a clean plate on each trip. We spent an hour and a half enjoying the tasty food and conversation. No need for me to eat dinner tonight! My friend remarked that he wished he lived closer to the New Tin Tin Buffet (we both live in Ashland) as he'd be eating there every day! We couldn't have had a better experience~ the New Tin Tin Buffet is terrific!

I know a…read morebuffet will please everybody cause they can all find stuff they like out of all the food out there. I have NO idea what all these bad reviews are about! We had a fabulous time eating dinner here at the Tin Tin Chinese buffet. The price on weekday dinners is around $18 ...and NO tax! Please tip though. This is a pretty big place with a decent sized buffet. There's more choices than I could even try. Old dried cold food? Not here! Everything was hot and fresh as I saw trays being replenished. We went around 5pm, so yeah if you are not so smart and show up 15 minutes before they close, no the food will not be fresh and many trays will be empty, cause no business is gonna fill trays with new food right at the end and then have to toss out a ton of food after they close! We were seated in a nice booth and there seemed to be a lot of other people enjoying the food here, plates piled high with seafood and other tasty looking foods. They have all the standard American Chinese food people expect, like sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, fried rice, hot and sour soup, broccoli beef and honey walnut prawns along with some dishes I didn't know what they were. But besides these standard dishes, some more authentic dishes were available as well, like deep fried calamari with jalapeno and salt, whole baked salmon and steamed white fish, stir fried green beans with garlic, salt and pepper fried whole prawns. No chicken feet though! Some dishes I've not see at a buffet were, pulled BBQ pork, Chinese BBQ pork, sweet and sour meatballs on a skewer and even custard tarts for dessert! There's plenty of choices for all tastes, even a section of spicy Korean foods as well as sushi rolls. There is even a cold foods and salad section ... I passed saving tummy room for hot foods! The quality of all the food was above average for buffets and or equal to a sit down and order ala carte place. Drinks besides water are not included in the base price. Sushi wasn't the best, but I come for the Chinese food. Service was fine. Every time we went back to the buffet to get more food, the dirty plates were cleared from the table upon my return. I'd recommend this place for an easy dinner for a large party or just two! Or five!

The place was practically empty- white everything with black diner seats & red/floral decorations on the walls. Long, narrow passage- greeted with delayed warmth from a boisterous lady. She recommended "more bang for your buck" combinations, so I'll hafta try the ala carte entrees later. I got the crab puffs (8 for $10.25)- they were fun! Triangles vs those 'purses'. Classic krab & cream cheese, but also has diced onion! A note of freshness & packed to the gills! And the egg flower soup ('small' bowl for $6)- simple, pretty straightforward... not enough salt, so shoyu helped. Some corn, pretty sure that's why it was so thick. The #15 ($15.50) came with pork fried rice, mar far chicken & moo goo gai pan... they did not come to play! The fried rice was a little overpowered by green onion, but that's where their pink sauce really came in handy- talk about balance! Their mar far wasn't little nuggets- they were like a breast, battered & fried, THEN cut into strips! So filling! And the moo goo gai pan was refreshing- big slices of carrot, onion, cabbage, mushrooms & broccoli with slices of chicken. Heartwarming, really. With hot tea (one pot for $1?!) & a fortune cookie, came to $32.75. With tip, overall total sat at just under $40. I'm glad I stopped in- this really was a phoenix rising from the proverbial ashes; Phoenix needs a win after Alameda & this place is helping keep them strong. Highly recommend
