Honestly, I'm surprised to find this one that met my expectations. Good food that delivers to your home. I had the following items. 1. hot and sour soup. It was a so so. A little silky (starchy i guess) Lacking some meat flavor imo even though it's the meatiest sour soup i ever had. It has barbecue pork and veggies. It's also lacking the sour taste and pepper. So I just adjusted it to my liking. A bit of chicken broth, vinegar and pepper. (That's why i gave it 4 stars) 2. Beef and scallops. Surprisingly good. 3. Special fried rice. Don't let It's look fool you. It's the best (maybe a tad salty for others but worked out fine with me somehow). It has that distinct flavor that I've been looking for in a fried rice. I have eaten here many of times,, as I cycle thru Augusta about twice a month this is one of 3 place I make a point to return and have lunch. Don't be fooled by it being in what I believe was an old Waffle house. The lunch specials are great I think it is about $6.50 or so. I love the Mongolian chicken and fried rice. They always quote one hour for delivery but they usually get to you much quicker; they also do charge a delivery fee if you order under 13 or so dollars, I believe. I've been ordering from Dragon Express for over a year and my usuals are: General Tso's Chicken, Extra Spicy Orange Beef, Extra Spicy Shrimp and Scallops Chicken Lo-Mein Hot and Sour Soup, Extra Spicy If you're ordering a combination, opt for the wings instead of the egg roll. Here is my attention grabbing first sentence that makes you read the following: The reason I started this way is because the negative aspects are the first that come to mind, but there were really some great words to be said. This is a review of the dine in experience. The Bad: the pork ribs... I didn't order it, my colleague did, but I did taste it, and it immediately had some sort of toxic weird taste (I'm guessing msg). I got the generals chicken and it was good, however it was a lot more tempura than chicken, which is almost expected from this dish, but other restaurants have a much higher chicken ratio which I like. The water also had the typical city water taste. The Good: the friendly staff! That lady there was really friendly and easy to get along with, although a bit chatty, friendliness is appreciated. The portion sizes were great! I definitely had a to go box. The chicken was good, and the sauce was good, despite the tempura abundance. We stayed in the hotel next door and the concierge recommended the lemon pepper chicken wings. My colleague got those and they were actual chicken wings! Not those dinky things you get at east coast wings, they were legit. And he appeared to like them! Unfortunately most reviews seem to have issues with the delivery service. As I am staying in the hotel next door, that aspect did not affect me. And it also is the reason I am writing such a detailed review, what else do you do in a hotel?! Hooray for late-night hotel delivery! They'd get three stars even if their food wasn't great--which it was. Ordered the curry chicken and hot and sour soup. Got the biggest container of curry chicken I've ever seen for just $7.50 (we couldn't possibly finish it) and they did make it spicy enough for us. I'm passing through with work and at hotel across the street. I ordered the General Tso Chicken and a small chicken fried rice. The food was good. They put it all in the same box, but it didn't bother me. The fried dumplings were your common everyday grocery store freezer aisle pot stickers. The Singapore rice noodles had no spice or flavor and were brown as though soy sauce or something was added. I work on post and usually get delivery for small groups of people. Have never had any issues with wrong orders or anything like that. The food is good and the prices are good. You don't need to be a gourmet restaurant to get 4 or 5 stars. The people are friendly and helpful with ordering if you are uncertain about what to get. I enjoy the Egg Foo Young and the Mongolian beef a lot. The General Tso's will not disappoint. Their crab rangoon are very good, not too sweet. I'm not sure who labeled them as $$. I would say I'd give it 2 1/2 stars but that's not an option. So the food is always hot. So I suppose that's better than bland, sauce less General Tso's. The sweet and sour sauce they brought me was the consistency of water. I've eaten here a few times and generally disappointed and confused by all the reviews about the place, but they delover on post and it's better than the chinese place on post so I just have to live with it if I want delivery. Back in Georgia again...where else would I get Chinese? To play it safe, I decided to order the same items that I reviewed last year. The hot and sour soup blew me out of the waters and was better than I remembered. It is kind of a fusion between hot and sour soup and egg drop soup with more vegetables than the typical soups you get at most restaurants. This is the hot and sour soup that will ruin all hot and sour soups for me whenever I am traveling. Mongolian beef is still good. Slices of tender beef and julienned onions in a sweet soy sauce is still highly recommended. They also offer a whopping portion sizes. This can be easily shared between 2-3 people. read more

Their soups are wonderful and their fried rice is made with little ham cubes mixed in. The staff is friendly and service is quick. So wonderfully surprised by this place!! We move frequently and I have to say that this is one of the best delivery Chinese places we have found.
