All three were responsive to my requests and all the pricing was pretty much in the same range. Veteran (Alan) was in the middle regarding the price he quoted, but I had a feeling that would be the best for us. I was obviously right. He was responsive to my multiple changing SOWs and on the day of the install, he showed up right on time with his son as his helper. The first day, he needed his son to help since I had an 85" TV to hang and also some pretty heavy wall mounted laundry room cabinets. He hung two TVs and installed the mounting brackets for me, and also installed 4 wall cabinets and 4 floor cabinets, along with a sink unit with plumbing. His estimate of time was spot on, and he took exactly the time he thought he might need to do the job. He was fast, efficient, courteous, cleaned-up after the job, and even took away the mountain of cardboard and packing materials that all the cabinetry and other stuff came in. I am a stickler for good customer service and for good work that you pay for, so if I say this guy is good, you can take that to the bank!! Postscript: I cannot believe he was so few reviews. I would think that everyone he works with would give him a good review. Also, as of this writing, he has two Yelp reviews that are not recommended. Why?? Those two reviews are 5-star reviews too and seem accurate and appropriate for what they say.

She was able to get us on the schedule for the next day and said it would be a $150 service call fee. The electrician who is also the owner showed up and repaired my son's ceiling fan and also found a wire that was not connected in another outlet. He was very nice and explained everything to us, gave us electric upgrade advice. I recommend Blue State Electric to all of my friends and family looking for electrical repairs and or upgrades. This company cares about their customers and it shows with their wonderful customer service!

I wanted the old can lights replaced with recessed lights in the kitchen and then added additional recessed lighting in the family room and formal living room..His attention to detail is awesome. There was very little drywall damage, and what little there was he repaired and painted (we had the paint match from when we had painted the interior a few years ago). Everything was cleaned up when he left and you really couldn't tell that he was ever there. He has an assistant "Alex" who was very trustworthy and also very capable. I would not hesitate to refer them in the future, it's hard to find good contractors in the Valley but they are one of the best.!

If you have AC needs, a home warranty, or both, skip K&K…read more I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with K&K during a home warranty AC service call. The system was diagnosed as having low refrigerant and likely a significant leak, with poor cooling performance and a very low temperature differential. The report recommended full system replacement. While those findings can indicate a serious issue, the recommendation to replace the entire system was made without documenting the actual leak location, performing a leak isolation test, or clearly identifying which component had failed. When I called the office for clarification, I spoke with Danny, who became defensive when I asked questions about the diagnosis and why repair options were not being considered. During that conversation, he told me to "stop acting so crazy" simply for asking for clarification on the findings, which was unprofessional and inappropriate. Danny was also confused regarding the home warranty process (see attached invoice from K&K) including statements that I would need to pay K&K directly, which contradicts the home warranty company. For context, I obtained a second opinion from another licensed HVAC company, which recommended a more measured approach including leak testing, refrigerant recharge, and evaluation of individual components before considering full system replacement. At a minimum, I would expect clear documentation of diagnostic steps, confirmation of failure points, and professional communication when recommending a major system replacement. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise other homeowners with home warranty coverage to get a second opinion before approving full HVAC system replacement recommendations from this company.
