A shout out to Cathey Lawn Service. With all of the rain recently (over a month now) I had not…read moremowed my lawn since it's initial spring mow. Those four weeks were not wasted by the plants in my yard and they grew several feet. I called Cathey and the experts there came, saw and conquered my yard in short order. They took care of my trees after the freezes of the last few years. I trust them and this is why I'm posting here. They are our neighbors. Check them out, you will be glad you did.

He even knew certain weed types down to the name, I was impressed! We talked about several things I wanted to accomplish and he let me know what they could accommodate. Their prices are very fair, and we were able to get the service done the same day. We had three guys come out and they worked so hard and had incredible attention to detail. Seriously, we've gone through three different lawn services in our yard has not looked as good ever. We had weeds pulled by hand, hedges trimmed and shaped, a tree cut back, and hazardous branch removed from a large tree and hauled away. These guys were also so neat. everything was collected in reusable bags as they worked, and when done it was packed up . They even used leaf blowers to get all the small pieces away after. I am blown away by the service and look forward to working with the team for the foreseeable future :)

He has a partner over the phone help translate between English to Spanish which was fine by me. I showed him the front and backyard needed lawn mowing and leaf/debris cleanup, every two weeks, he quoted $70 for my home, which was fair to me. I asked for the rose bushes to be trimmed on occasion and to fill in bare spots in the back yard with mulch which he quoted at $30 extra. Fair enough to me. He takes Zelle payment if you don't have cash on hand. Superb! At the end of the job he asked if he could put up a sign designating his work, which was fine by me. I gave him a $20 tip too.

He is expanding his business over here. He showed up on time, gave the estimate, which was incredibly reasonable compared to other estimates I had seen in other company reviews. He has over 10 years of experience, and has just started his own lawn care business. He was able to mow my lawn the same day, and it looked great! The lawn looked better than when the other company the builders were using did it. My neighbor had his lawn done the day before by that company. My lawn looked better! Arnulfo did an excellent job, and I highly recommend! If you need lawn care in San Antonio or New Braunfels- give him a call. I set up to have my lawn mowed- weeded every 2 weeks for $60. Definitely worth it for the quality! He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He told me not to pull out a certain week because it would release more seeds, and explained where all these weeds were coming from (the lots in development in my neighborhood).

We've been in our house for 10 days and I didn't want the grass to grow taller and potentially get a notice from our HOA. They arrived perfectly on time. Cut the lawn and trimmed a flowering plant that was a little too close to the patio/ house. They worked quickly and efficiently. My yard looks great! The garden beds were blown out with no leaves remaining and the lawn as well. Our backyard artificial lawn was blown and all leaves collected, you could eat off the lawn it was so clean. Lastly, they mowed and trimmed for us. Now, they couldn't save the dead grass from the heat of last summer, that would be an impossible task, but they did a great job making the lawn look presentable and dare I say, good! Their prices are incredibly good, they called to let us know what time to expect them and they spent a lot of time taking care of our yard. I have been using Southern Lawn Care for almost a year now and cannot recommend them enough…read more I had seen them working in my neighborhood and stopped to get contact info so I could get a quote and within a couple of days they had come out, assessed everything, and provided a very reasonable price for service. The great thing is they don't have contracts so you aren't stuck if you aren't happy with the service. They are also extremely flexible with time frames and can do everything you may need done. I started out only having them come out once a month because it was during the summer, but as spring rolled around I was able to ask that they come out more often. I have also had them to do additional things like removing some bushes from a few beds and off a fence line, spray to keep the weeds at bay, and even do a deep dive on the beds before a recent party I had.... And it's always at a good price. Any time I call to see if something can be done Tim is on top of it. He's also just a really nice guy and always eager to help, and the guys he sends out are amazing as well. They are super friendly, do a great job, and they are always open to talk if I have any special requests or things I'd like for them to be careful of while they are here.
