Without going into all of the gory details, let me assure you that the guys at EZ Pest Solutions have seen it all, dealt with it all, and carried it all away so you don't have to ever see, smell, or deal with it again. These guys go above and beyond the typical pest control service. If you have a problem with pests of any sort, you need these guys in your corner. I've worked with a few other pest control companies for routine pest control service, as you basically have to do if you live in Texas, and they have been fine. But then we came across a new challenge that needed a fast and discreet solution. It was quickly obvious that the other guys were just kids with a spray can. Called up these guys in pinch (730pm on a Wednesday night), after discovering that acrobat ants were making a mess inside our AC unit making it fail. Russell picked up the phone right away, and was here within the hour. He didn't just treat the AC area, but looked for the root of the issue and treated everything accordingly. I really appreciated the quick service, the friendly demeanor, and the domain expertise to understand how to get the job done the right way. I contacted Russell at EZ Pest Solutions back in October, 2016 after living for a couple of months with a growing German roach problem. Russell was able to provide me with a detailed estimate. When he arrived to treat the problem, it ended up costing less than the price he had quoted on the phone. The service was prompt, friendly and informative. A couple of days after his initial treatment, I was still finding a few roaches. Russell came back out to my apartment on a Sunday and sprayed my kitchen again at no extra cost. I am buying a home on very short time limit. I got a notice from my lender that I needed a termite inspection as soon as possible or my loan would be delayed. I called every pest control service that does termite inspections and they were all 3 - 4 days out and all exceptionally expensive for what needed to be done. Plot spoiler: This review has a very happy ending and I'm so happy with the services that it's going to sound like a fake review or a sitcom! I recently had a rat infestation in my attic that immediately followed a roofing job. My friend in Hyde Park recommended "the guys" at EZ Pest Solutions and not only did I get fast and excellent services and pricing, I ended up gaining a few new brothers too! EZ Pest is a family business, and the brothers are enthusiastic and absolutely love what they do and clearly love working for themselves. Seriously - you can call these guys in the evening and say, "oh crap, I just heard one of the traps triggered in the attic" and they will come right over and remove the dead varmint for you. They are also the kind of guys that are capable of doing a lot of other things and because you will instantly trust them, you tend to ask, "hey, do you know of any good carpenters / masons / plumbers / electricians, et al" because you naturally wish that you could find those types of services from such a friendly group of guys. I had some work done in the past a few years ago for termite and ant treatment. He does good work, but that's if you can actually get him out to your house. You have to be on top of the upkeep for treatments. If you don't, they won't ever contact you again after the initial treatment. If you just need a 1 time job, they are great. Things might have changed since then, however. I don't know. read more

We had some wood dust coming out of the ceiling into a window sill. Our immediate thought was termites! I researched the internet, and found it was expensive, so I dreaded having a pest control company come out, but no choice. I was SO LUCKY I called EZ Pest. Russell came out, explained it was (some name) ants, not termites. They were coming in from our bushes, and we didn't need pest control, we needed our bushes trimmed away from the house. Russell explain there were products I could put on the bushes, yard, and area around the house to ensure the ants went away. By the time he left, I knew everything I needed to take care of the problem, so I had nothing i could buy from Russell to make his trip worth the drive. It is seldom you can find someone honest enough to tell you that you DON'T need to buy anything from them. EZ Pest and Russell are forever on my list as first and only call if I need pest services. I would give Shawn and his company no stars if it were possible. He was paid $500 to treat my house for roof rats. He took the money and used it to move to North Carolina. After two months of trying to figure out what happened and how to get my money back, he called and was profusely apologetic. He promised a refund, then disappeared again. Swindled! Dont trust him, don't hire him. Not only were the rats a stress but I have had to suck up the loss of hundreds of dollars. Totally dishonest company. read more

Russ was amazing!! I messaged him at 8am on a Sunday morning and he was at my house within the hour to help us with a MAJOR fire ant situation that had made their way into our toddlers room!! I was panicking because no other pest control company was open on a Sunday and my little girl had been bitten all over her body, throughout the night, by fire ants. Russ walked the whole house, moving the refrigerator and drove to check behind, and the outside perimeter until he found several active mounds. He treated those and gave us tips on how to prevent further mounds being built. When he was leaving he let us know we could call him anytime, day or night, if there was another issue like this. Company responded promptly to schedule an appointment to look at our problem and to provide quote on removing animals in attic, as well as sealing entry points. Russell showed up on time for appointment and seemed professional. He said he would provide quote the next day after his partner came to look at house too and could give what he called a "second opinion." He said they could start right away and said he understood our urgency. However, after three requests over several days, he never provided quote and stopped responding all together. read more
