Currently remodeling a house in Aledo TX before moving in and one of the first things that we were…read morelooking to do was to get the 3-car garage floor sealed with the current application process that gave the best overall protection and highest quality. I researched companies in the DFW area for the best one to diamond grind and patch the floor and then apply Epoxy and a Polyaspartic final coating. Having done this before I'm always skeptical regarding 24 hr one day and done approaches. You need to let the full process take place. I started with probably 10-12 companies and cut it to 3. NU Garage and Epoxy was the clear leader. The overall garage floor was in very good shape, but there was a foot and a half crack on foot wide strip just in front of the main garage floor. I thought they would just patch it, but no, they popped out the whole piece and reconstructed it good as new (possibly better). See photo of the front left. They also found a long cracked piece at the center back of the garage next to the wall and did the same thing. We then had 7" of rain in 48 hours, and 3" more in the next 3 days. While others sometimes close the door and go ahead and do it, they waited and completed it in two days (Epoxy one day and Polyaspaspartic the next). incredibly smooth and shiny. See pictures and how they matched the walls with a flake. We gave it a couple of days before driving on it. It is awesome! Couldn't be happier. It is great working with people who want the best and deliver the best. Great quality and great value. Nick and his crew were awesome and kept me informed every step of the way. We needed to replace the carpet in several room and were dreading the process of going to multiple…read morestore to shop for carpet, finding what we wanted and then having multiple people come to the house for measurements, wait for installation, move furniture, etc, etc, etc. First step was to look for carpet companies in the Keller / Southlake / North Richland Hills area as we wanted to buy local. We also looked at the warehouse / home improvement stores. After visiting a couple of local carpet stores and one of the home improvement stores in the area, I came across Floor Covering International in Southlake ( https://southlake.floorcoveringsinternational.com ). They were local and would bring samples to your home. We gave them a call and set up a time for them to come to the house. Joe came to the house with a large selection of carpets and we were able to quickly find the carpet we wanted and provided a verbal cost. Joe followed up with a written quote later that day and we set up a date for installation. Joe also arranged for his installation team to move the furniture for a fee, which made the process very easy. The installation team showed up on time, moved the furniture, took out the old carpet and started the installation. Joe stopped by to check on the installation and spotted a problem, the padding was the standard foam padding versus the upgraded padding we had selected. Joe was able to get the upgraded padding while the team finished taking out the old carpet. They finished up the installation, in less then eight hours, moved all the furniture back and cleaned up the mess. What we expected to be a big complicated project turned out to be a very easy process to update our home. We love the new carpet and the upgraded padding was a great choice for a very plush feel. See the photos, the top 3 line tiles are white, all the rest tiles are yellow! I went to the store where I purchased the tiles, and the manager said he could not do anything. I lost $1500 labor to redo the entire left-side wall, including removing the installed tiles, replacing the hardy barker board & red guard, and installing the tiles again. I also lost 8 pieces of the tiles (materials), $90.76 total. I would like Floor & Decor to contact me back for this loss, since it is completely their fault for giving me different color tiles!
