I purchased the Osetra Amber Caviar & Bourbon Smoked Trout Roe. Along with some blinis, mother of pearl spoon, & some Griottines Cherries (they are sooo good)! Everything was a hit and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

The Casetta family provides an extensive education on various products available so you know what you are getting! I was looking for something different and authentic as I have traveled throughout Italy from Milan-Florence-Naples-Rome-Amalfi Coast. So I know what they are selling is the truth!! They are available on the weekends at the farmers market for your convenience or you can stop by their store. The pasta and sauces are frozen. They also have bread available, pizza dough, and sausages from local farmers. What makes them unique is that they have chicken meatballs!!! Of course Beef meatballs are available-Both are marinating in light marinara sauce. Coffee is available and they have daily fresh made sandwiches for lunch. Dessert-Tiramisu This is my go to from now on for pasta and sauce!!! The service was amazing and they offered me a sample of a Biscotti that was to die for...I made the mistake of eating it without coffee because it was so good. I will be back to purchase more and will be bringing my mom. Thank you Casetta!!! You provided such a wonderful welcome!!!

I am so glad that I came because I got to see, for myself, how popular this place is for the food they serve. The line is so long and consistently long. They're not really just known for their meat market and food products they are known for their food line I tried a little posole, rice, beans, chicken guisado, and Carnitas tacos. I even got some Carnitas and Chicharron. I always recommend Chicharron if you have to have some kind of crunch and you like pork rinds. This is the best pork rinds you'll ever have. I have to say the chicken guisado was my favorite. Please note everything is fresh. They had fresh homemade corn tortillas . Not everyone has that! They have an amazing selection of drinks. I didn't even know what to choose from. So many different flavor is in Mexican soda and when I say Mexican sodas, they're actually imported from Mexico so they taste just like Mexico. Even though the line is consistently long, it moves pretty fast. I legit saw so many people take big orders to-go as if they were having a party and this was just on a Sunday morning. I didn't have it today, but on another day, my husband brought me a chili relleno from here and it was the best chili relleno I've ever had. They don't have it every day but if you're there on a day they have it please try. It is so delicious and it's huge! The cool knows what she is doing. The store is clean, hello constantly stocked up, very colorful as the layout is organized. Your butcher lady is very knowledgeable. You can ask her anything about any meat and she knows it all. Trust me, we tested it. Come try out the food!

The guy in front of me knew what he was doing and it was obvious he had been there before, so I followed his lead and got myself a lengua Taco and a Chicharron taco both on corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. Both tacos were excellent and the corn tortilla was super soft and yummy. They had places to sit down and enjoy your meal with salsas at the tables and counters. I gobbled mine down too quick to take a picture but I'm definitely heading back to try their other tacos and definitely will get the chicharron and lengua again. Service was fast and friendly. It took less than 15 minutes from start to finish... Next time I'm going to slow down and enjoy myself.

I was struggling to decide, so they let me know that they could mix flavors in a cup, which was perfect! You'd be surprised at the number of froyo or ice cream places that refuse to mix flavors, so I'm always happy when that's an available option. To the ice cream itself, it was exactly what I was looking for. Not too sweet or heavy, but still creamy with unique flavors. I ended up trying the lavender honey and was surprised that I could actually taste the floral notes of the lavender without it being overpowering. I paired it with an ube flavor, and thought it really hit the mark too. There was a steady stream of customers flowing through, from families to couples. Small place as expected of an ice cream shop, but still more than enough seating inside, and a nice covered area outside too.

I ordered the Chocolate Milk & Cookies in a mini cup, and I really enjoyed it. Even though I chose the mini size, it didn't feel mini at all because the staff was very generous with the scoops. One fun touch was the temperature-sensitive spoons, which changed color when they got cold. They made our ice cream experience a little more "cool"!

Rocket Fizz: 5 Stars to Flavor Town!…read more Rating: (5/5) Rocket Fizz is a total gem and stands out from other novelty stores. I'm giving it 5 stars and here's why: I've been to several novelty candy and soda shops and Rocket Fizz is the only one that truly has a more diverse and actually unique selection. It's not just about quantity, it's about the quality of quirkiness. You walk in and immediately feel like a kid in a candy store, but one that's been curated by someone with a wonderfully weird sense of humor and taste. My personal favorites were the bubble gum and sour raspberry soda - I never knew I needed it but I loved it! It was a surprisingly good and memorable drink that sums up the store's adventurous spirit. Beyond my soda find, the aisles are packed with retro candies, international treats, gag gifts and so many other weird soda flavors you'll feel overwhelmed - in the best way possible! If you want a shopping experience that's not ordinary, full of surprises and unique finds, Rocket Fizz is a must visit. Get ready to have your taste buds - and your sense of wonder - thoroughly entertained!

The truffle flavor/aroma was solid and the fresh chips on top were nice. The cheeseburger was pretty good and I enjoyed all the veggies that came with! I wanted a pork chop or steak and saw this place and their pork chop. It looked great online. When I get there I ate at the bar. It was a coffee bar. Again- I should have done more research. So I was given a menu then I ordered the pork shop. And then the waiter said is that I and proceeded to give me my total. Another thing I have researched. It's counter service. Then I said I just wanted water. I waited for it and he said we have to help ourselves to drinks (later). So ok. Fine. Then later he told me they were out of pork chops. So I got the short ribs with the grits. The ribs were tender. They were tasty. The grits were good. The veg was good as well. I'd give the food a 4 but I would think, since they make their own pastries, they would make a bread to serve with dinner! But no bread so that drops it down a point or 2. I had ordered (pre-paid) for the bread pudding. It was good, legit bread pudding. The place itself is a coffee bar so it looks and acts like a coffee bar. Now to the coffee bar. Someone there ordered and espresso drink. They don't have a knock box and so he proceeded to knock out the very old puck into a trash can under the sink then rinsed it. Then the shot glass looked like it had been there unrinsed from the morning. Then as he proceeded to make the espresso- he had to fill the espresso machine (with tap water). Last- it was Aerosmith on repeat. I like them as much as the next guy, but how about some variety. I guess if I lived in the area I might go back to try their breakfast. Anyway- I ubered there and I wish now I would have just eaten at the hotel bar.

There are books abound, along the walls, in the bathroom, everywhere. I had a glass of Experience, a Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. It was a good pour, not too little or too much and the taste was deep, well balanced and smooth. Since the event took place around dinner time I also had a Fig and Speck flatbread. The fig, prosciutto and other toppings complimented each other well. The flatbread dough itself was ok but could've benefited from a little more flavor such as some garlic, butter and herbs. I also would've liked it a bit thinner so I could taste less of the bread and more of those delicious toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good and I ate all of it but these are small suggestions I'd recommend to bring it to perfection. I could see parking and seating being tricky. I was fortunate to snag a parking spot on the side of the building near the auto place and once inside I found a seat at a table with a lovely couple, another couple joined us soon after. Many of the guests who arrived later stood at first and then halfway through the event, made their way to the floor where they sat cross legged. All in all, The Library was a nice establishment and although a little out of my way, I'd return for another event or if I were in the area again.
