Despite being a branded Dairy Queen location, they refused to honor official Dairy Queen coupons--no explanation, no courtesy, just a flat-out "we don't take those" delivered with attitude. The staff was dismissive and rude when we asked why, as if we were inconveniencing them by even asking. It's baffling that a national chain would allow such inconsistency in customer service and policy. If you're not going to accept your own company's promotions, at least train your team to communicate that respectfully. We took our business elsewhere, and we won't be back. Love that this location opens early (10:30am) every day but Sundays. I stopped in shortly after opening and was greeted warmly. The inside was clean and well organized. I just wanted a simple, small hot fudge sundae and opted for no whipped cream or nuts. Haven't been to a DQ in a while. I was surprised at the size of a small as the portions seem to have increased. Typical DQ experience. The blizzards are good and the cakes are plentiful. My recommendation is the strawberry cheesecake blizzard with cherry dipped blended with it. The taste is delicious and if you order a medium size- it will be plenty. I've ordered a large before where the cherry dipped pieces were lacking in quantity. The Oreo blizzard cake tasted good too. So much attitude as soon as we walked in the door. I always start off by asking how someone is doing. Super monotone and a desire to not want to be there. She wasn't mean or anything but very off putting and unwelcoming. I'm usually a huge tipper if you deserve it. I left no tip. Watery banana split for some reason. Other than that it taste amazing as always. Clean overall but the tables were all messed up and mushed together. It also smelt like cigarettes in the store. read more

Had an order, through Uber. Messed up my order. They decided to do a substitute, without asking me first. I'm so mad right now.

This place is clean! Staff is nice and welcoming. They have a decent selection of food although they do not have a fryer at this location (probably because McDonalds is next door) so no burgers or chicken fingers. They do have other sandwich selections though. Plenty of ice cream cakes to choose from and plenty of seating. I imagine that this place will be hopping in the warm summer months. They have a $5 lunch special where you can grab a chili dog (or one of the other sandwiches), chips, soda and a Sunday (with the option to upgrade it to a blizzard for $1). My usual spot for ice cream is really lacking. Not COVID safe. I became very concerned when the small place began to fill up with people and other employees (manager?) decided to berate employees in front of all of us and then proceeded to finish taking all orders but not help with the making of said orders. It was near impossible to maintain 6' distance. The manager while the store was busy cleaned countertops and a pink container that was not even being used rather than help get people out to maintain a safe environment. The two blizzards we ordered were soupy by the time we go home (max 8 min) and most of not all toppings were at the bottom of the cup. I was a bit concerned when they put the spoon into my blizzard cup after I visibly saw the manager at least wipe her face while she was in that vicinity when I walked in. If you can try another Dairy Queen. I did appreciate the double cup for the drive home and that they at least tried to keep markings on the floor for 6' distance. read more

They messed up my ice cream oder today, and when I went to get it rectified the shooed me away from the counter because they were busy. Typical Dairy Queen. The ice cream is great, the staff seems to be trained well, and the service was reasonably fast. They do not seem to tip the Blizzard over as "advertised" in this location and that is apparently because they are not made as thick as most. It would have plopped onto the floor had they tipped it over. It still tasted great though. I have definitely had better (thicker) Blizzards and will go to other locations first. read more

This is my local DQ. I've been coming here since oh gosh, age 8? When did they open? I don't do ice cream often because, you know, healthy eating and other nonsense, but I've always enjoyed coming here. Despite long lines, we always order and get our ice cream quickly. I think my only complaints are seating. The booth seating in the lobby has been ripped FOREVER and the whole place could use a little TLC but it works. I would like to see the tables cleaned more regularly. I understand they get busy but the tables get occupied fast, so when I finally am able to get one, they usually have ice cream or trash left on them. People suck, so I try to do the Good Samaritan thing and leave it better than I find it and wipe up theirs and my messes, but I digress. This is a good DQ for some sweet-tooth satisfaction for a fraction of the price of say cold stone.
