Perpetually busy especially on the warmer months. Be prepared to wait. However, you also get some super upbeat people working there and genuinely welcome each and every guest! I have been here a number of times to have the same consistent experience without fail. Fast forward to yesterday. I had never had a blizzard before so I decided it was a good time for that. I ordered the choco-brownie blizzard and wow was it a treat! I even flipped it upside down too and that was fun! I ordered a medium but I may go bigger next time and even try the Oreo one! All in all it was a good time. I noticed a lot of people were familiar with the staff too and talked to one another like family. The place has an uplifting vibe and a positive ambiance. Great location, even though I have never been when there wasn't a line, they get to you quickly and turn out the treats even quicker! DQ is near and dear to my heart, I can remember the first time I ever had a dipped cone and to this day, it's one of my favorite desserts out there. We had a rouge DQ gift card and figured a sunny day would be great for a blizzard. We haven't had one in a long time, and it was so refreshing on a warm afternoon. This location does mainly the frozen DQ/OJ drinks but do have some food options. It is not a full menu, but if you need a snack as well as dessert it will do. They have a nice indoor and outdoor seating area and it was not crowded at all, so we enjoyed some patio time in the sun. We'll try again on another sunny day when the mood strikes. They also do custom birthday ice cream cakes with tons of images they can put on it, we might take them up on that soon read more

Ordered a birthday cake online. Received on email confirmation that cake would be available later in the afternoon same day, which was the only option available. I called DQ of Glenwood Springs multiple times, could never get an answer so I left a message stating that I couldn't pick up the cake until late the next day and left a call back number (being I was talking the birthday girl and a few of her friends on a float trip, and that we would pick up the cake late in the evening) After a long day on the river I drove to Glenwood Springs DQ to pick up the cake, they didn't have it, said it would take 3 (three) days, but that was contrary to my DQ generated email receipt, they offered nothing said it was my fault, next I talked with Laura (mgr.) she then told me they could have sold me a cake they had in the store! The staff never told me that was an option. They never checked the messages. so my daughter, her friends never got a birthday cake. The manger never offered to try and make good on this, said I did the order wrong. They didn't care. in the future I will steer clear of DQ, who needs the aggravation, Culver's is acroos the street and in the future that's where I will go, as for ice cream cakes, we'll just stay more traditional. I was positively giddy when I saw the sign for this new DQ go up a while back in a shopping plaza near Southlands Mall. This nice new Dairy Queen is clean and well managed. It isn't huge, but has several booths and tables to sit and enjoy your frozen treats. Plus they have the freezer cases with pre-made ice cream cakes and ice cream bars. This DQ also has Orange Julius items on the menu and you can get a hot dog (that is it on the hot food menu). My favorite are blizzards. I especially loved the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard they had during the Halloween/Thanksgiving months. The choco cherry blizzards are delish too! If you live near Southlands and need a DQ fix, you finally have a place to go! read more

Pretty fast service. Lots of young kids working in this location so they're gaining and experience and learning but I've found they try their best and are consistent with the upside down blizzard demonstration at the counter. DQ is a classic desert spot that I've always enjoyed. I recommend this location because it meets the standards you'd expect from your years of enjoying DQ ice cream. read more

Stopped in here after picking up some dry cleaning next door. I hadn't ever been in one of these combination stores before. It's small but for places you're used to seeing in a mall foodcourt that doesn't matter much. I grabbed a Strawberry Banana Julius and it was great. The service could have been a little faster, but the employees seem to be just local high school kids so their level of caring wasn't incredibly high. read more

Before I got my allergy to dairy we used to come here all the time and I loved it, great prices, quality, and service.

The couple of times I have been here, the service was oddly slow. The place was not even a quarter full, and yet people were waiting 10+ minutes for their ice cream. I thought that was strange. But once we got our treats, they were the consistent with the quality that you expect at DQ's everywhere, and we got exactly what we wanted. We just decided to get blizzards instead. I got a cookie dough and my wife went with turtle pecan or something like that. My ice cream was average. It's a Dairy Queen, so the menu and product are consistent. The service is horribly slow though and the young kids working there seem indifferent to making it move any faster. Avoid anytime after the schools get out, especially on a nice Friday afternoon, or you will wait forever in line. I'm not sure if it's a short staffing issues, one person running the cash register and another making the product, or just a slow delivery. Not really sure how this place is still in business. I got a normal ice cream cone here along with my grandparents, and our ice cream all tasted like cleaning supplies. We threw them out and didn't even bother to get a refund because we were so grossed out. I've heard other people have had the same experience. As always, their ice cream is yummy and chocolate dipped cones are my favorite. But the reason I give them 5 stars for the service. At 10:15a on a cold winter day, we were on the search for ice cream after my 8 year old daughter had 2 teeth extracted... We had gone to 2 places that were not open yet, another place that was open but not serving ice cream for another 20 minutes and they wouldn't give us any ahead of time, and then we drove up to Dairy Queen. We tried the door and it was locked - not open until 11a... Poor daughter was crestfallen not to have ice cream after a difficult morning at the dentist. An employee saw us standing there trying to decide where to get ice cream from (grocery store and bring it home?), and she asked if we were picking up a cake. We explained to her that we were looking for ice cream for our little girl who had 2 teeth extracted that morning... She opened up the store early for us, and we all ordered treats. We are so thankful for her to have let us in so early to ease our daughter's aching gums. We're coming here first from now on :-) Thank you Dairy Queen!! read more
