Signed, Still Miserable Update: I called corporate and they got in touch with regional, who then got in touch with the office. The office finally called me. It turns out that Lilly, the NP I was seeing, has left the office and my stuff just completely fell through the cracks. My scripts have now been sent in, finally. However, I'm wondering how things will be going forward and likely will be switching to a different provider as this experience has not let time feeling confident in the care I will be needing in an ongoing basis.

My experience was beyond disappointing from the start at this location…read more I have been in healthcare for more than 30 years and patient care has always been my biggest priority. With that being said, I know things can be busy or staffed and be shorthanded, but I'm not sure if that was the case. From the moment I walked in for my 1st appointment I felt very unwelcome! The receptionist barely acknowledged me was short unfriendly and almost seemed just irritated to be there. I have excellent insurance and I'm ver knowledgeable with insurance. She just told me my copay was $99 with no explanation, to me that was more than normal but I paid and will confirm with my ins EOB the costs. One of the responsibilities of a receptionist or front office is to set a 1st impression of a practice and this was a big failure on her part. The nurse that took my vitals was pleasant, the PA was great, knowledgeable and explained everything well. The second nurse that took my blood was outgoing and friendly, this gave me hope about my future appointments. I scheduled my follow up for a week later to review my results. On my second appointment there was a different receptionist and she was more pleasant. I was brought back quickly and a new nurse came in took my BP and explain another provider was here today than the normal one. She left saying she'd be in shortly. I waited 50 minutes no one ever came check in on me or explain why I was waiting so long! I would have been ok if someone came in, apologized for the wait and gave me an update but that never happened. After a hour of nothing I went to the front office and asked for a copy of my test results and said I've been waiting a hour no one has come in, I'll find another office. I was more shocked by the total lack of professionalism when she never once apologized and just printed my results out and handed them to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. It's a corporate medical office and you would think they'd have better trading in place for their team. This was my worst experience ever and I still don't know what I paid for? Update!!!! As I thought I received my EOB today and they charge my ins more than $800 for a visit with a PA and blood work. Per my EBO I was only to pay $24. I'm not dealing with these people that abuse medical billing codes. I'm filling a complaint wit BCBS. I'll let them deal with their billing department. Always check your benefits and EOB most of these large Corp managed care facilities are run by business people that expect you not to catch their misuse of billing!

I will say that the place is always nice and organized and the staff are always so friendly. But there are some issues. I feel like I've never seen the dentist also be the one to do the cleaning until coming here. I found that off but whatever. The first 2 times I've had my "cleaning" it NEVER felt like it was clean. He usually never talks to me and feels more intimidating. Today I went and I'm sooo glad that they finally had a hygienist in there. She was super lovely. I really wish I had met her before because she did an amazing job and she made me feel like my mouth was clean. She did say she was new there but honestly that's probably the best decision the dentist could have done. They told me I could just get a regular cleaning that a needed a "special" cleaning and $1,000 for filings and a bunch of un necessary stuff. I had a friend that is a hygienist look at my bill and they wanted me to get the most expensive of everything. She also told me most of it was unnecessary. My husband had 2 teeth extracted. We told them he wanted gas for the extractions and they ignored us and only numbed his mouth. He was getting a too and bottom tooth extracted. My husband had to tell the doctor he was supposed to extract the bottom one too. The doctor obviously didn't look at my husband's file because he sent him a prescription for Penicillin. My husband is extremely allergic to Penicillin. Thank goodness he decided to check before popping them in his mouth. They also charged him over $700 for fillings that haven't even been done. When I called and spoke to Vanessa to get my money back she hung up on me. We later found out that Bailey was telling other employees that my husband was an ahole. The people are so rude and unethical. I called their headquarters in Dallas and left a message for the HR executive director Chad, and reported them to the Better business Bureau. Do not go here.
