Absolutely ridiculous that only a tv on the wall repeating info and a kiosk are there to answer all human interactions. Doctor says drop off specimen first thing in morning to quest, however if you arrive to do so, you will be met by that tv and kiosk only. My previous experience at a Quest Diagnostics for a routine labwork draw near my home was not a good one. This week, I'd had a medical test involving a needlestick almost every day and I'm not an easy target. Today, I'd been stuck twice in my Cedar Hill doctor's office and they couldn't get the job done, so I needed to go to a Quest lab again. There's at least one in every suburb and still fasting (it's noon now), I took off for Mansfield. The other closer labs that were more highly rated were permanently closed. Go figure. This one, off of Highway 287 on Country Club, in a strip center near the Tom Thumb, was easy to find with plenty of parking. There was no one in the small office, just signs directing me to sign in. A brightly lit sign in computer on a pedestal directed me to type in basic personal information and informed me at the end that people with appointments would be taken before walk-ins. Okay. Oh, it wasn't talking to me. You had to be able to read and select your numbers and letters and press continue or next, as well as the information at the end. There was an elderly couple in the waiting room. I asked them if they found check in easy. It was the wife who had checked in and she had no difficulties with the process. I wondered though about people who cannot read, the blind, the wheelchair bound or who have many other disabilities, including something as simple as trying to stand there in crutches! I still hadn't seen a staff member yet. I noticed my name had appeared on the custom TV screen with what looked like possibly a wait time. Other people came in and signed in. A staff person appeared and called for the elderly woman. Another one appeared and called for someone who signed in after me; I'm guessing with an appointment. More people came in and signed in. More names appeared on the TV and then someone came for me. I never did see anyone appear in that little office. I had my labwork orders in hand. My phlebotomist was either good or lucky and thankfully, he got all my many tubes of blood. He had to leave the room for a butterfly, though. Then he had to leave the room to help someone else. He had to answer the phone and deal with that. He had the tourniquet on three times and was ready to draw twice and had to stop. Not very efficient. The penny pinching company is saving by not having a helper/supply tech/phone answerer person; but wasting the phlebotomist's time and the customer's time. Typical for a healthcare provider. The phlebotomist was professional, courteous, friendly and expedited his work as quickly as possible. Five stars for him. Absolutely. read more

I've been to many different Quest locations all over the USA, this location by far was the fastest service provided by the most friendly and professional staff I've ever encountered at a Quest location. I walked in without an appointment and checked in via the kiosk. As soon as I was done, my name was called. I needed urine and blood work for a work physical and I was in and out of there in less then 20 minutes (maybe even less then 15... I wasn't watching the time but man was that fast!!) GO TO LABCORP! I went for a specimen drop off. It takes 2 minutes for me to walk in, hand them a frozen specimen for testing and leave. I followed the computer check in and if you click the "?" It takes you to a list of things you can be there for that do not require an appointment due to how little amount of time that it takes. After I checked in, they walked out and instructed me that I did it incorrectly and I need to set myself up as a walk in. After following their orders. They said they couldn't or wouldn't take my frozen specimen until 3 when they had time to do so. (3 hours later) my specimen would have been invalid if I waited 3 hours and it thawed. They need more training in their own system. Apparently they do not know their own policy's. I'm headed to Labcorp and will never be back. read more

If you go to the location, you cannot be seen by an employee unless getting tests run. They have been paid but have not produced any results yet!!! Log in at the kiosk with your name, or QR code. You can also make appts online. Don't bother calling no one ever answers if your trying to verify you have lab orders. Make sure you have your paper copy for lab work or just have your doctors email you a copy! Because if you don't you will wait 2 hours. It's sad that we have to remind our doctors office to put in the orders and then we have the orders sent then get forgotten at Quest because our paper work wasn't in then you wait another 45 minutes. LOL get your paperwork then it will be a breeze!!! You can easily be out in 20 min. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I have chronic lung disease and am required to give regular (minimum 4x a year) sputum samples for my Drs to have tested. For an assortment of reasons I have a very very difficult time producing a sample big enough to test. This most recent time I had to withhold treatment for 2 weeks until I could produce one. Finally did and delivered it to Quest within an hour of collection. They then mishandled the sample and the lab refused to test it because it sat at the Quest location without being refrigerated for hours. So now we don't know the newest cause of my lung infections and I had to withhold treatment for basically no reason. But they still charged me my copay despite no services received due to their negligence. read more

Went in 02/28/23 for a pre-employment screening. I made an appointment online just a few hours prior to my arrival and the process was extremely simple, I was impressed with the fact that I was able to come in on the same day. I was called back exactly at my time of appointment, the staff was a bit straight forward but friendly. They conducted business in an extremely professional manner and maintained a positive attitude with me and each other. I have had blood tests every 6 weeks at different labs for 18 years. This was the worst experience I have ever had. They were rude and very disrespectful. I had a one-second yes/no question. I ask 3 different people and they just stared at me and walked off. Didn't even acknowledge me standing there. The phlebotomist that was appointed take care of me kept raising her voice and was very impatient. She kept saying we don't have time. One of two vials had very little blood in it and I'm concerned that there may not be a sufficient amount to run the test. She should have used another vial. She asked me to hold my arm up at a weird angle. She pressed on my arm and it moved down. Yelled at me. I have been upset all weekend. I am battling cancer and kidney failure. I don't need this!!!!!! Absolutely horrible! The service here is shocking, there were ten people stuck in the tiny waiting room and we could hear all the workers in the back laughing and joking about not wanting to work. Every time I've come in for a simple blood test that should only take ten minutes, it ends up taking an hour and a half because the employees are slacking and they don't know how to get anyone's paper work faxed. My doctor wanted me to get some labs drawn, and told me they would send the request. Before driving 30 minutes to this lab, I called 3 times trying to make sure they got my doctor's orders. I never got a phone call despite leaving messages. So I drove there hoping they would have it. They did. I got to the front and the lady asked me if I had my lab order. I told her no, that I tried calling several times today to make sure it was sent over electronically. She said "we don't answer our phones and don't return phone calls until the end of the day". Seems silly to me. She found my lab order and went back. I don't expect these people to be nice, as they draw labs, but I've always had phlebotomists make some bit of small talk. Nothing here.
