THE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR EXPENSIVE CLOTHING James Cleaners…read morenever disappoints. Sure, there are other cleaners within a few miles who are half the price, or charge a flat rate for 5 or 6 garments. I tried saving a couple of bucks and took clothing to them. Pants came back stiff enough to stand on their own...and shinny. I didn't even wear them, the next day I took them straight to James Cleaners where I knew they'd be done right. Clothing always comes back looking brand new. You truly get what you pay for. I buy expensive clothing and will not subject them to second-rate dry cleaners again.

I've lost a lot of weight, I don't have the right sizes any more, and will need to order the suit the groom wants us to have before I can get it fitted (which I was planning on getting don at her shop). I walked in, "What do you want" was the greeting. I asked if she could do some measurements for me to get a suit done, "I'm not doing measurements" and went back to what she was occupied with. It's her prerogative whether or not she wants the business I offered or not, that's not the issue. Being handled like I was bothering her, or like my request wasn't important enough to interrupt her was the issue. I hope this reaches her, and I hope all those that use her see this; you know I'm not lying. Why spend money with a person that treats you like you're only important if you have money to spend with them. I'm a person whether or not you make a profit on me, just like the merchant is a person whether or not they can help me or not. Over all, not a huge deal, but pretty inconvenient to have to spend money with a person 30 miles away simple to get service that doesn't suck.....but hey, I have the money, and the time.....

She altered one suit and one wedding dress for me. While the suit was altered perfectly, I had told…read moreher that I had thrifted my wedding dress. It had some prior damage to the sequins from sitting in its original store. I had hoped that these damages to the embellishments would be repaired. While she altered the dress wonderfully, she did not make any effort to repair the damage that I had asked for. When I mentioned the loose threads and hanging beads upon pick-up, she told ME to fix it, and shrugged off my concern. I'm sad that I have to put a lower review. I am now having to go to another tailor to have the loose threads and hanging beads inspected and repaired, despite the fact that the dress was left here for a month and a half. I unfortunately will not return to this shop.
