Spring has finally arrived in NYC My boyfriend and I grabbed a few beers on a Sunday around 3pm. It wasn't busy at all, so we easily snagged a table outside. Our waitress was super friendly and chatty (wish I had caught her name!) and made the whole visit even more enjoyable. There's something really special about a cold beer, great conversation, and a beautiful spring Sunday afternoon in the city. Big fan of the sister bars in this family -- 3 Sheet Saloon, Jake's Dilemma, Off the Wagon, and The Gin Mill are all fantastic neighborhood spots, whether you're popping in for a quick drink or catching a game with friends. Came here for Lectures on Tap event in their private back room. The bartender was super nice! The drinks were good (I had wine and a G&T). I had nachos to eat and they were your standard pub food. The regular bar area was loud but then they started doing trivia and it quieted down. The private room was nice and blocked out the other bar noise. We also came on a Red Solo Cup Night, so the frat party vibes were strong. They do have really cheap drink deals, but we didn't really utilize them since it's for well drinks and cheap beer. We understood that it was a Friday night and there was college kids all over, however, we didn't feel comfortable with the lack of motivation to clean from the staff. I have been coming to this place for a long time as well as all the other ones back to the days when Moe's Carribean was the old stumble inn this Monday I was in the area I decided to stop for some food because on the website it said 1/2 price food I went in to meet a group of friends who told me the same thing picked up menu went to the menu that was on every table that stated food was 1/2 off we ate then it was time for the check I noticed it was not what expected he said oh that promotion ended we have a new promotion the. Bartender was very nice he actually made my experience better but here we are I emailed the company on the website instead of writing a review but have yet been acknowledged if you put a menu out and it has wrong prices or wrong deals all it takes is a sharpie a sticker etc and website should be up to date also , no manager on duty to speak to us so just Becareful I won't be going back I'll continue to my other tow places stumble inn ,Jake's or 3 sheets over 20 years visiting these establishments read more

Went here as a second option with my friends. Came here right when happy hour started on a Friday and can't complain, but the vibe changed. The food was okay bar food, nothing to hype about. Bartenders were great. Then the place started to get crowded and then there was a server going around taking orders, but not to our table. My table ended up going to the bar to order, but that one server that we notice, never came to our table. Of course we felt offended, especially when we were a table of POCs. Came here for a private party. We didn't have any food but shut the bar down for open bar and had two summer interns DJ, so can't really judge what the typical food and music is like. But the drinks and space are pretty much exactly what you would expect from a dive bar - extraordinarily sticky floors (I think my shoes are permanently ruined) and mediocre drinks. I really don't like it here, but my friends do. I came here pre-covid, got one drink and cashed out right away, tipped the bartenders $1 and moved on to the next spot. Standard sports bar- good food, plenty of cheap booze, lots of tables both indoors and outside and spaced out so you never feel uncomfortably close to others and lots of screens to catch a game. Definitely a college bar- 13th step is a place that has enough space for a LARGE group. My classmates and I would often frequent 13th step after a high-stakes exam or to celebrate the end of a tough semester. Their drink specials make it pretty cheap, and they have a pretty large selection of drinks that you can't always find at other bars in New York (to my surprise, they had a rare but personal favorite liquor of mine, Rumplemintz). The only complaint that I have is that for all the space they have, they run out of seating relatively quickly because a lot of their tables are booths that can't be separated if there's a table of two sitting at them. After a few $20 cocktails in NYC we stumbled across this spot. Here is a large spacious bar with a killer midweek happy hour. Monday thru Friday 11 :30to 8 drinks are half price. A happy hour even Esteban would be pleased with. So my vodka cranberry was just $3.50. Obviously a locals spot as the bartender seemed to know several of the patrons. This bar has a good deal on Wednesdays! I came here for my roommate's 21st birthday and the bouncer showed no care for it but we thought it was funny!! Anyways, we came here for the nachos and I got a Guinness for $4!!! Amazing deal. They got two tequila shots for $4 each as well. The nachos were $12 and AMAZING. They were the perfect amount for 3 people and probably the best nachos I've ever had. There was some delicious BBQ pulled pork on it too! I'd definitely recommend and come back just for those. (Though beware... my roommate puked afterwards and my other roommate had the shits the next day (as did I)) They're putting something crazy in those nachos but it's totally worth it. Try this place!
