I like this concept as someone who doesn't know what they like + wants to sample everything. Would make for a good sports bar. Mainly long high top tables + then there was open space towards the back. Not sure if that's normal or a special request just for our event. Tried a few + settled on a black cherry cider which tasted like juice. I wonder how often they switch flavors.

Step into the new 3 Monkeys, a tri-level playground of grit and glamour -- exposed brick that looks…read morelike it survived Prohibition, tin and copper ceiling tiles that wink under amber mood lighting, and a wooden bar polished by a thousand high-fives. Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. I showed up an hour and a half early before the event I went to "started", got a seat at the short (Ada compliant) bar and settled in to grab a drink or two before everything started. It took 45 mins for someone (2 people were working) to actually make it down to our side on the bar, everyone I was sitting with, including the tables, wanted to order. The girls next to me said they got there 15 mins before me. If I wasn't here specifically to watch a show with other people in my community I would have left. An hour for a drink!?!?! I took it on the chin and just ordered 2 drinks, which was great because an hour and a half (we ordered the second time after the show started) later they finally came back. Not sure if I would end up coming back, which is sad because I love a watching professional women's sports and this place was made for it but not worth the wait times.

The restaurant sits on the corner in a striking building, giving it lots of energy. Inside, there are TVs everywhere, making it easy to catch the game from almost any seat. As kickoff got closer, the place filled up with soccer fans, creating a fun match-day atmosphere. They also have outdoor seating with TVs, so you don't have to miss any of the action if you prefer eating outside. The best surprise? They have a dog menu! Before my humans even ordered, the staff brought me a fresh bowl of water. I ordered the Salmon & Rice Bowl, and I cleaned my plate without leaving a single grain of rice behind. The humans shared a pitcher of sangria while cheering on the match. Mom ordered Judy's Corn appetizer, which was full of flavor and disappeared quickly, while Dad went with the classic chicken tenders and fries. Between the friendly staff, the lively sports atmosphere, and how welcome they made me feel, Judy Z's is an easy recommendation whether you're stopping by for brunch, happy hour, or to catch a big game. Dogba's Verdict If your humans love sports bars but hate leaving you at home, Judy Z's solves that problem.
