I scheduled an appointment to do a comprehensive eye exam, as it's been over a year since doing one. Upon check-in, I had to complete several pages of my medical history prior to being taken to the back. Thankfully, filling out the paperwork did not take too long whatsoever. The staff member who assisted me for the majority of the visit was Tanisha. Tanisha displayed nothing but a positive attitude and was extremely helpful from start to finish. Veronica also helped me out briefly, and she provided a pleasant level of care and customer service. Finally, I was greeted by the ophthalmologist - Soungmin Cho, M.D. What I appreciated the most was his thoroughness, professionalism, and reassurance about my eyes. He indicated that he didn't find anything concerning, which was such a huge positive thing to hear. Dr. Cho also provided helpful tips for maintaining my overall eye health. Glasses were not imperative and an absolute need for my situation, though they were still offered. I proceeded to order glasses anyway, just in case my eyes don't want to cooperate in some moments. The brand of the glasses I ordered was by Michael Kors. The frames are absolutely gorgeous and I'm in love with them. The glasses were ready for pick up on Wednesday, 04/08/26. I was not able to pick them up successfully until Tuesday, 04/28/26, due to my demanding schedule. Overall, the entire appointment regarding eye care was straightforward and an easy process. I had a lovely, incredible experience from the hospitality of the staff members/doctor to the quality of the glasses. I highly recommend coming here for quality patient care and vision needs.

Tina, I don't know what your problem is - maybe you're trying to save money by cutting corners - idk but that's not even the worse part. You need to take classes on how to improve your customer service skills. The first time I come in as a new patient, I come in for my annual eye-glass exam. I am also primarily a contact user so I have contacts in my eyes when I come in for the visit. Tina tells me that I cannot be seen if I do not remove my contacts. Which is fine, so I ask for disposable contact cases to which she answers, they do not have nor do they provide. I tell her then I must reschedule this appointment as I cannot just toss this pair of contacts since I drove myself to this office. She then insists they do not reschedule appointments but now she has a solution! She is willing to LEND me a contact case in which I will need to give back to her after my eye glass exam. Ok, first off, that is really gross and unsanitary! I hope to G- that she didn't give me used contact cases. When I'm finally seen by the actual doctor - he was really nice and helpful. They must not be on the same page because when I walk into the exam room, I apologize that I didn't have my own contact case on hand - to which he replies, "It's okay! We have plenty!" Then when it's time to choose my glasses, Tina is the only one present to help. The process was so quick and she just seemed impatient to get me out of there. Well today, I return 4 weeks later to pick up my glasses. I was the one to take initiative and call the office yesterday asking for the status of my glasses. Conveniently, Tina tells me yes they just arrived today. Yeah, sure I don't believe you but whatever. I come in to pick up my glasses and I ask for a glasses wipe which are usually complimentary- to which she informs me the glasses don't come with one but one is available for purchase. Total night and day from this optometry office and my regular optometry, Tracy optometry (located in Tracy and the reason why I decided to give this place a try since it's in town). I will never come back here again.

I have been a patient of Dr Nguyen for 20 years +. I started with him at Costco; migrated to his…read morepractice in Manteca; his first location in Stockton and now his current location. He has very high standards for his practice; how it's run and for the most part-his employees. I've personally seen them come, go, and be terminated if they're not meeting the minimum standards required. While a majority of his staff is very professional and knowledgeable as well as supportive of the doctor's mission and vision, there is an overall average of 1 percent of the employees who are striving to learn the doctor's commitment to providing the optimal in patient care and satisfaction. But I am confident that those select ones will grow over time and understand the cost of being in business for patients and how it ties in to being the face of the company versus a stick in the spokes of the wheel. All but one employee has the "it factor" and that's superb! Susanna is also a great leader and example for others. I've know her since she started working there and she's always been a great person and has awesome customer service. Overall, the team is a very well oiled machine that is capable and caring. The doctor is very caring and cautious when it comes to precision, customer experience, ethics and integrity. Anyone (patient) who thinks differently solely based on availability and selfishness, not giving consideration that doctors and staff alike need time to level up and recover, they're the ones who need to take a look at themselves, and not the staff. The staff and doctor are superb. This review is coming from a picky and b!+[hy, 20-year patient who loves specialty and personal care (ask him).

I had a very negative experience with valley optometric. They advertised contacts online at a…read moresignificant discount to me. I purchased these contacts and picked them up upon delivery. The next day I received a call and was told it was a mistake on their part and I needed to give the contacts back. I was disappointed and felt it was not my fault that this mistake happened so I went in to speak to the manager Lillian. She explained it was one of her employee's mistake and was asking for me to give the contacts back. I asked them to please, if I give the contacts back to hang on to them for me so I can purchase them directly from you due to the inconvenience of this mix-up. At this point she threatened to kick me out of the practice if I did not give back the contacts. I told them I had a receipt and proof of the discount offer and had no obligation to give them back but as a courtesy I would give them back to them if they would accommodate me by hanging on to them and selling them to me at the price that was correct not the erroneous one caused by their employees mistake. Lillian angrily said she would see what she could do and proceeded to get me kicked out of the practice because I would not respond to her threats so she carried through on her threat to kick me out of the practice. I was given false advertisement and tricked into this problem by their mistake. When I asked for an accommodation and agreed to pay the amount they wanted that was not enough for them. I would not recommend them to anyone. They have signs all over saying that they will adjust your glasses at your own risk. This means if they break your glasses in attempting to adjust them you are financially responsible. Apparently though if they make a mistake and they are responsible for something they will put all the blame on the customer Make threats and carry through on these threats if they don't get exactly what they want.
