I needed an eye exam and a friend recommended All City Optometry. I called the office and spoke with Vanessa. She was very pleasant and had an available appointment in less than two weeks! She also handled all my insurance business. The office is very clean, has a 'boutique' feel and in a great location. Bill greeted me and was nice and friendly. I appreciated the Doctor being on time and not having to wait. Dr. Ho is personable, I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. We discussed my past eye health and he took the time to answer questions. Dr. Ho is thorough and knowledgeable. After my exam, Lanna showed me many styles of frames and I never felt rushed. She is friendly and funny! Lanna is well-informed about eye-wear, what looks good for your face shape and fits well (without slipping down your nose bridge!). All City has a great selection of frames, from Maui Jim sunglasses to other affordable styles. Both of my glasses were ready in eight days! I made an appointment and Lanna fitted them. My experience at All City was incredible. If you are looking for a personable, knowledgeable optometrist, I highly recommend Dr. Ho at All City. The entire staff at All City is amazing! read more

THIS IS REVIEWS WITH DR. HO'S Location in BROOKSIDE: I love how he's taking so much care and precaution in his office against Covid! The front desk is lined with acrylic glass to prevent you or the staff from contacting. If you sign with a pen, the staff would tell you to leave it as they sanitize after you. You can definitely tell he cares about the safety of his patients and staff. Dr. Ho comes in with a face shield and mask. They rooms are open and spacious as well. New thing with I love is that they have a machine to take pictures at the back of the eye for you! Yay to no more dilation! Also great if you have kids who hates eye drops! Highly recomme read more

Dr. Ho of All City Optometry has provided vision care to my wife and myself for many years now. We even travel from out of town for our appointment. His office staff is professional, friendly, and very competent in assisting with frame selection, determining insurance coverage, and performing necessary tests to facilitate proper diagnosis of eye conditions. The doctor is patient in performing the eye exam and explains results of testing. The office is equipped with a wide assortment of frames and important eye test equipment that will help to detect problems early, such as glaucoma, cataracts, detached retina, etc. Early detection of eye issues is extremely important to us since living with seriously impaired vision is something we want to avoid in our later years. We highly recommend All City Optometry for your eye care needs. read more

I am so grateful to have found All-City Optometry. Dr. Ho is very caring and takes lots of time to give a careful and thorough exam. Bill and Lanna are a great team - very welcoming and thoughtful. Lanna helped me choose my frames and she did a great job of helping me find something I would like and that fits great! I absolutely LOVE my new glasses - I feel like I don't even have them on! Even more surprising is that I only waited a few days for my first consult - in fact, I was the one that didn't have time available. I am so grateful that I had the courage to break away from the optometry group I've been seeing since I first came to Stockton more than 20 years ago. I have been looking for a new optimist after being with my old one for over 25 years. For whatever reason they just couldn't get my glasses, correct. The optometry department at all city was very helpful. Lanna and Bill took a lot of time helping me select frames, getting the right measurements and the right lens. My glasses came in yesterday, and I could not be more happy! Sing it with me, I can see clearly now! read more

First time to All-City Optometry and I have to share my wonderful experience with Dr. Ho. I'm 57 years old and have been wearing glasses and seeing eye doctors all my adult life. Dr Ho is the best eye doctor I have ever visited! He spent a long time with me doing a thorough exam, and most importantly explained everything to me. This allowed me to fully understand the why and how to prevent some issues. He found out why my eyes are dry which no other doctor could figure out for over a decade. Such a professional doctor, I was beyond impressed. I came in early morning, so the office wasn't full of patients yet, so I did get kindly greeted by all the front staff who were so welcoming and friendly. What a wonderful referral from Great Spectacles eye glasses shop in Stockton! They did their research and found the best. read more

Dr. Nguyen has been my optometrist ever since I've started wearing glasses which was when I was in the 6th grade. Over the course of all these years, he still remains the same, super friendly and highly knowledgeable. He always explains the process he takes during the eye exam, makes sure you understand and that you aren't in any discomfort. Recently, I switched over from prescription glasses to contacts. Dr. Nguyen walked me through the process and answered all my questions. He even had one of the assistants teach me how to put on my contacts so I wouldn't struggle on my own. read more

Dr. Nguyen is the best! I've been seen by him for 14 years now. He's very thorough and easy to talk to. He doesn't rush his appointments. I came in today at 4:30 (their last appointment time), and was really indecisive. I couldn't decide on whether or not I wanted to do a contact fitting in addition to my eye exam. So after 30 mins and me taking off my contacts, I decided I wanted to do the contact fitting, too. Then we ran into the problem of my old brand not fitting well, so I had to switch to a new one. Dr. Nguyen was very nice and understanding about the whole thing. I felt so bad because I made him work overtime on his birthday. Overall, I really recommend Dr. Nguyen. My whole family goes to him. read more

All City Optometry - Love my new specs - Optometrists Near Me - Stockton, California

Dr. Ho is a great optometrist. It was my first time seeing him and he was very knowledgeable and educational which I really appreciated. He did not rush the appointment and it felt like he cared about his patient and did a thorough eye exam. I would recommend Dr. Ho to my fellow friends and family. He was very nice and did not try to pressure me to get a certain type of contacts since I barely started trying to use contacts and he even made sure my contacts were on correctly. I go back soon for the contact fitting to see how they worked out for me. He said if I don't like how they fit he would give me other brands to try. My previous optometrist just told me I needed to wear dailies and did not check to see if they fit correctly. He even realized my eyes were a certain shape (oval shape) so not most contacts would not work for me since they would fill stuck to my eye and he was right, my contacts did previously feel stuck to my eye. He also has an okay selectionhttps://www.yelp.com/biz/all-city-optometry-stockton when it comes to eyeglasses as well with some luxury brands like Tiffany and Co., Gucci and Versace. read more

Dr. Victor did an extraordinary job, he made sure I didn't leave his office until I had 20 20 vision. I highly recommend this place. I don't mind the 20 minute drive from manteca, I'll do it as much as I possibly need to because I know My vision is in great hands. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful read more

They used to be great, then the the doctors split and they moved and the service doesn't feel the same as well as Dr. Ho is not convenient for patients anymore only for himself and his staff. At the old location they were open until 5:30 M-F and opened every Saturday. They now close at 4:30 (which is not convenient for work people swing by after work instead leaving early), and they are no longer open every Saturday, they are now every other Saturday by appointment only, even to pick up glasses. I also didn't like the way his new office felt, can't explain it, but it feels nothing like the old place. I let them know today that I would not be returning. read more

Dr. Nguyen has been our optometrist for years and his really good at what he do. We're having our kids go to him as well. If he can't do the exam than he'll send us to a specialist which is also a good one as well. He goes throughly wit the examine. There's no rush or anything. Before he finish with the examine he'll ask if we have any question or concern. So far he's been one of our great optometrist. read more

Everyone in there is nice and helpful. The guy in the glasses area (sorry forgot his name) is very sweet. He found out that Stanton optical did not give me a Michael kors case (stanton optical gave me a cheap ugly orange case for my Michael kors glasses) so he gave me one himself. Very satisfied costumer. Thank you guys! read more

Dr. Ho is super friendly & makes you feel comfortable. He explained everything detail by detail. Everyone else in the office is nice and friendly too. Very clean inside with plenty of chairs. Also has a nice selection of frames! I also love that they have a 10-15 min parking space right in the front so you don't waste time looking for parking in that busy shopping center. read more

I gave a 2 stars because although we love Dr. Nyugen, the Asian receptionist is rude. My son went in there to try to practice for contact lenses and his eyes are really sensitive. The receptionist was helping him but told him that he will never be able to put contacts in his eyes and was not doing it correctly. what is she there for if not teach him how to put them in and take them out. We are not getting the service for free, we are paying for it and she cannot even give good service. The place he went to last year were very patient with him and I would rather pay a little more to get good service instead of rudeness. read more
