My only complaint is that an appointment scheduled for a particular time may last for hours, much of the time sitting in the waiting room. I understand that medical procedures can't be precisely scheduled, but there ought to be a way to cut down on the wait time. This office has completely failed to meet even the basic standards of communication, follow-through, and respect for patient needs. When I requested a necessary accommodation letter for my job, the one they initially sent was so poorly written that my employer said it made no sense and was completely invalid. This forced me to request a corrected version -- which I've now been waiting on since Saturday. It is now Friday, and not only has the updated letter still not been sent, but I've also been ignored and left hanging in a situation that directly affects my employment and ability to work safely. This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable. It shows a complete disregard for patient care, urgency, and responsibility. A simple task like faxing a corrected letter to my doctor has turned into a week-long ordeal -- and still, nothing.
