The workers up front and nurses were incredible and not having to get my eyes dilated at the eye doctor was incredible. However, Dr. Dixon was such a disappointment and so frustrating to deal with. He tried to decrease my contact strength prescription without letting me even try on any trials (thank God for the woman checking me out who made sure to find some me to try on before we ordered because I would've been pissed off getting contacts that I couldn't see through), kept promoting some podcast he was going to be on, tried to tell me that my primary physician wasn't going to truly check on one of my health conditions that I needed to get an ultrasound from him instead, told me to look something up using AI, and couldn't dumb down an explanation of something that was, as he described it, "pretty sciency" (I'm a month away from having a masters degree in biology mind you). He tried to schedule me for an unnecessary procedure after telling him I'm losing my insurance very soon. He also stated he "wouldn't be mad" if I chose to stay with my original prescription instead of going with the lower strength one, as if a decision regarding my body and what is going to be best for me should include factoring in his emotions. A genuine disgrace to eye doctors who are actually worth a hoot. If you don't want to be scared into going to the doctor or receiving an unnecessary procedure, I recommend going elsewhere. read more

Overpriced products and poor customer service. They should work on caring for the customer rather then selling them expensive products.

I was in glasses that were not fitting right. Lesette fixed them. It is amazing to be able to see again. The doctors and staff are wonderful. I can't wait to get my new glasses. read more

I was diagnosed with Keratoconus when I was 35. I tried several Doctors and never could get a comfortable fit with my contacts. I started seeing Dr. Dixon and he took the time to ensure that my contacts were fitted correctly and comfortable. Most ophthalmologist are unable to fit Keratoconus patients properly. While visiting from Pennsylvania, I was poked by a tree branch and went to the nearby hospital ER. The ER doctor immediately set up an appointment to see Dr. Dixon. Dr. Dixon and his staff went out of their way to examine me and protect my vision. The injury had caused extensive swelling and bleeding of the eye. He gave me prompt treatment and insisted I see him or my own doctor within 24 hours. We made the 12 hour trip back to Pennsylvania over night and was able to continue treatment with my own eye doctor the next day. After three visits over a 10 day period, my eye is recovering but treatment is scheduled for at least 2 more weeks. I greatly appreciate Dr. Dixon fitting me into his busy schedule. These days it's hard to find a doctor office that doesn't make you feel rushed. From the moment I walked in they made me feel at home. The doctor thoroughly went over me and my daughter's results. Every question I had she answered. When it was time for me to order my glasses I was given individual attention, and again I didn't feel rushed. My benefits were broken down into detail so that I understood. She did not make me feel as though I needed to buy extras. As a small town facility, it definitely exudes small town friendliness! Physicians, and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. Everything about my exam was explained to me and any questions I had were answered in a way that was easy to understand. Wait time before my appointment was very short and the ability to do your pre-appointment paperwork online is a plus, it saves time in the office. Being able to purchase your glasses in the office is also a time saver. The office waiting area is very clean and nicely setup for comfort with reading material and a TV for whomever may be waiting for a patient.
