First, I got someone on the phone ..no answering service or answering machine. Second, I was able to make a same day appointment. We arrived when we were told to arrive, which was 30 minutes early in order to fill out some paperwork. I think our appointment was delayed due to a late show, but it was not a bother to me since I used to be that way when my life was overscheduled and now it was not. The doctor was very professional, detail oriented, and trustworthy. The staff was very personable. I would highly recommend this office and plan on coming back.

The staff is friendly and helpful, everything was explained adequately. The cost of the procedure was surprisingly low. My only complaint is that an appointment scheduled for a particular time may last for hours, much of the time sitting in the waiting room. I understand that medical procedures can't be precisely scheduled, but there ought to be a way to cut down on the wait time. That said, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Moore and his colleagues to anyone.

However, Dr. Dixon was such a disappointment and so frustrating to deal with. He tried to decrease my contact strength prescription without letting me even try on any trials (thank God for the woman checking me out who made sure to find some me to try on before we ordered because I would've been pissed off getting contacts that I couldn't see through), kept promoting some podcast he was going to be on, tried to tell me that my primary physician wasn't going to truly check on one of my health conditions that I needed to get an ultrasound from him instead, told me to look something up using AI, and couldn't dumb down an explanation of something that was, as he described it, "pretty sciency" (I'm a month away from having a masters degree in biology mind you). He tried to schedule me for an unnecessary procedure after telling him I'm losing my insurance very soon. He also stated he "wouldn't be mad" if I chose to stay with my original prescription instead of going with the lower strength one, as if a decision regarding my body and what is going to be best for me should include factoring in his emotions. A genuine disgrace to eye doctors who are actually worth a hoot. If you don't want to be scared into going to the doctor or receiving an unnecessary procedure, I recommend going elsewhere.

I ended up having one lens fall out bc the hole where the screw goes in was messed up. It was holding the screw in. I go there, inform then what's going on, request new frames bc of this issue. I assumed they did what I requested bc it's been under a yr so I still have my warranty. Here we are, not even a month later, same side the lens is falling out and it's my screw, it's my screw from the other frames that I know I had messed up by using a screw driver that's too big for it. It basically has my signature on it. I call, they want me to go up there, honestly I don't want to bc I'm livid that they lied to me and didn't do what I asked the first time. So I'm going to save myself a whole lot of trouble and go somewhere else next time.

I had already been to a medstop twice before visiting and explained to him that my infection was getting worse and was concerned of having a cyst left in my eyelid. He assured me if I used the ointment after a week everything would be fine and that having a cyst was not common. Several weeks pass and I was not given a follow up or had anyone check in with me. I had an associate from the walmart on booth road call in for them to contact me about a follow up. They called and were going to charge again for an amount of $80-$100 for a follow up. Really unbelievable. I will no longer do business with them here
