We arrived when we were told to arrive, which was 30 minutes early in order to fill out some paperwork. I think our appointment was delayed due to a late show, but it was not a bother to me since I used to be that way when my life was overscheduled and now it was not. I understand that medical procedures can't be precisely scheduled, but there ought to be a way to cut down on the wait time. When I requested a necessary accommodation letter for my job, the one they initially sent was so poorly written that my employer said it made no sense and was completely invalid. It is now Friday, and not only has the updated letter still not been sent, but I've also been ignored and left hanging in a situation that directly affects my employment and ability to work safely. This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable. It shows a complete disregard for patient care, urgency, and responsibility. A simple task like faxing a corrected letter to my doctor has turned into a week-long ordeal -- and still, nothing.
