great experience, walk in time was about an hour wait but there is plenty to do around the area while we waited for our appointment. they were busy but attentive to everyone. they offered us complimentary tea and I really appreciated their ability to get us into a pedicure that day! I hope that Sarah can understand that the services provided are by people and not machines and sometimes you just have to accept good things take time. I love my pedicure and will definitely be back. read more

I made an appt. for my sister-in-law and myself. We were on time, chose our colors, and waited 20 minutes. After being seated in the pedicure chairs, we gave the people our written nail colors, chose the pedicures, and got completely different experiences although choosing the same pedicures. My guy waited until the very end to apply the paraffin wax. So why did I pay for that? I told him my polish was too light and needed another coat. Nope. My sister-in-law really got screwed because they applied a hot pink instead of the deep orange that she had selected. She tried to object as it went on, but the guy just blew her off and kept going. At the register, she told the English speaking receptionist but got a blank stare. No offer to make things right. We had written down the polish selections and given them to the people! She showed the receptionist the piece of paper, her pedicure color, AND the original display color. It is completely different!!! No offer to make things right. Zero. $70.00 down the drain for hot pink toes in September. We had other poor experiences over the past year being rushed, short leg massages etc. So now, we aren't going back because they are inconsistent and DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! read more

I'm a little obsessed. I wanted the white chrome look. I didn't specify the color chrome so this is white on white but this is the cleanest set I've received in a while. I've gotten a white full set at a different location and the lamp burnt the color. This is perfection. I'm sad I didn't not get her name but I will back. The lighting I feel could be brighter, I wanted to fall asleep getting my nails done I was too relax . Prior fill/full set pic included. To be a continued. read more

I have visited this nail salon several times - I had hoped to leave a better review but I am still unable to do so. Manicures: Nails are uneven, some were filed round, some square, one is pointy. I asked for clear polish - nothing was applied. On another visit, a hangnail was yanked off and that finger felt irritated for the rest of the day. Pedicures: Have not been as relaxing or enjoyable as the ones from my previous salon. Today, something on my big toe was either cut or pulled (which actually startled me). It bled for quite a while and they did not have band-Aids at the salon. The color was applied hastily and looks awful. The first time that I came to this salon, my leg massage was so hard that I had to ask them to be more gentle. Please see photos attached to this review. Thank you. read more

I received a head spa service during which a hot water outage resulted in the application of warm water from a bucket being laddled on my head. I expected a complimentary return visit to receive the full service once the issue was resolved; instead, I received a 10% discount (resulting in a $126.00 charge) and a 15% discount on future services (expiring 03/15/2025). I was quite disappointed. I left in tears. They definitely should be giving a free service, pouring water from a ladle isn't the same spa concept as the halo shower head that's supposed to be a constant running stream to keep you warm and relaxed. read more

Mixed feelings for Downtown Nails because there were two of us with very different experiences. We were seated next to each other at the nail stations. Kevin started working on my nails immediately. The person I was with obviously was seated and forgotten. Eventually, one of the chatty workers came over and started doing her nails. I say "chatty" because a group of employees were in groups visiting and visiting and visiting. Tan ended up taking over that nail job. The location and is really nice. You have a feeling of a high-end establishment when you walk in but it goes downhill pretty fast. The employees visit constantly instead of doing what they come in for. I felt a few little finger clips and then the spray of alcohol on those "clips". Ouch! I guess I'm just getting tired of going to manicurists who cut my fingers. I'd sure like to find a good one. Are there any who don't cut your fingers up? Now several days later my cuts still aren't healed. read more

I tried the new head spa at Downtown Nails. I give it 5 Stars! It is so relaxing. I had Racheal she is fabulous.

Was having a really bad day so I decided to treat myself and get my nails done. I had red gel on my nails before coming in. I asked for a fill & French tip polish. Also mind you I had an appointment and came 10 minutes early so I shouldn't have been rushed. I sat down and the man doing my nails told me "one second" as he was playing iMessage pool. He kept stoping the service to play on his phone. He failed to remove all the polish from my nails before he started painting, and completely ignored me when I asked if he was going to remove it or file it more. I just minded my own business the whole service and trusted he'd fix it somehow. I just wanted a relaxing experience because I've been dealing with family in the ER and all sorts of other things. I felt rushed, ignored, and upset. I don't recommend coming here. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

My daughter came in to get her hoco nails. First off her nail design was messed up didn't look anything like the photos at all. The acrylic looks like it's melting off of her nails. The color combo is wrong. Everything about it is horrid. Second the nail tech kept commenting on her toes and making her feel insecure, isn't it your job to fix it? read more

I have been to this salon twice. Once for a pedicure (they didn't have time to do both Pedi and Mani though there were very few customers and employees just standing around). The man who did my pedicure was rough and the massage was painful. I went back for a manicure a couple days later to give it another chance. My manicure is ok, not great. It felt rushed and I didn't leave feeling like I'd gotten a great manicure. I'm going to try another place in town. I moved here 3 months ago and I'm looking for a new "regular" place to go. read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would!! I tried several other nail salons in Longview and was just unimpressed with everything until I found this place. I now recommend everyone to their business, the staff is incredibly kind and the salon is so clean and relaxing! Nail fill, Dip Mani, pedicure, or facial(Ask for Helen!)! You really can't go wrong with any of there services!! read more

Always clean, great atmosphere and friendly techs! The prices are on the higher side but I have always had good experiences here.

I went in wanting one thing and got talked into Dip Nails and they did not look good. They were fat and the french tip white area was really big and fat and not attractive. The pink area of the french manicure look was bubbly and just not pretty. read more

The Nail Tech I had did a really nice job on my finger nails and pedicure. I did a dip powder nail and I appreciate that she took the time to get full coverage and smooth the top of my nail and file down the bulkiness. It was about $40-45 for that and $33 for the pedicure I chose. She actually massaged and took her time with pedicure and I think it even lasted longer than the time slot I had chosen. I didn't catch her name, but I think it was something along the lines of Em or Anne. Something with an mmm sound. 4 instead of 5 due to us having an appointment and those with a later appointment got in ahead of us even with there being enough Techs and also for it almost happening a second time (I stood up fast enough to interrupt that time). As well as it taking a while for someone to approach us when we walked in, but it was fast for the other customers after us. This is our first time here. Regardless of that, I'd definitely go again and they were overall very friendly. I do understand not stopping what you're doing with another customer if you're not at a stopping point. But if you are at a point where you can pause to check someone else in to show some kind of eagerness for customer service, that is nice. read more

Oh I used to live downtown Nails but they have gone downhill I paid for a premium pedicure package and a friend paid for just a standard package and I was done 20 minutes before she was so I think she got the premium and I got the standard the guy that did my leg massage , massaged so hard it was painful . several times I had to ask him to be more gentle. It's not as clean as it used to be this could be a high-end salon but need more professional techs read more

Very expensive but a good pedicure. Not sure if I will be returning due to the price I could've gotten the same elsewhere for 1/2 the price.

I love how big, clean, and beautiful the inside of the salon is! The people there are nice. And the price is very reasonable. I got a full set French tips for $37 which was the cheapest I have paid in town. Only complaints I have, are my nail technician didn't want to listen to me when I was telling her one of my nails was messed up, so she didn't fix it before I left, I usually don't say anything but I asked her twice to fix it:( also pedicure I had was great, but the guy kept hitting me calves so hard my legs feel bruised I'll still go back, cause so far it's the best place I've been in Longview. read more

It's so hard leaving this review because I either have an incredible experience or an awful one- never in between. Today I left the salon in tears because my technician yelled at me, hurt me, and actually made me bleed on multiple fingers from filing my skin with her (dirty) file. She left parts of my nails naked, but flooded others, leaving me with fingertips that feel like they've been dipped in superglue. She didn't touch my cuticles, and used nail clippers to ruin the shape I spent months growing out after the last bad experience I had there, even after I told her I wanted to keep the length. I could feel her rushing me out the door. That being said, the owner is an extremely kind woman, and I adore quite a few of their other techs, who all do flawless work. So if you're going for an event (like I was), make sure you do a trial first, so you know your tech ahead of time. read more

Pushed to hard on getting the more expensive nail package. I had to say no 4 times. When I got my nails finished there was a bunch of mistakes I could have done it better if I painted my toes myself. I feel like since I didn't get the more expensive nail package I wasn't a priority or didn't get a great service. Will not recommend and will not go again. read more

I have been coming here since November. Twice now I have had the male who seems to be the only guy that does dipped nails. Both times he hurt me. Today he seemed annoyed that I didn't pick a color fast enough. Then, one of the colors I picked looked totally different than the "sample nail", he didn't offer to dip once more to get a deeper color. He hurt me several times, didn't apologize. I don't usually complain, but he seems rush you just so he can sit/play on his phone. Just skip the guy. read more

Went there today for a pedicure and let me just say it was the worse pedicure I had in my life. I was in the chair for 15 to 20 min, it was a rush job and the technician was very rude. A picture is worth a thousand words. I got dip nails yesterday. Anne did the service on my nails. Terrible job! My cuticles look like crap, the nails are not squared as requested. I love this nail salon. It is family owned and they make your experience their top priority. It's great to make an appointment and to know that they are on-time and you won't be waiting like at other places. They are honest with walk-Ins and don't over-sell their time and cause frustration for clients. It's very clean, they autoclave their filters on the pedicure chair which is a must to prevent nail fungus spread. You won't be sorry if you give them a try! read more

I had high hopes for this salon. Coming in, it seems like a nice and cleanly place. I had an appointment for a dip manicure. The nail tech, I think his name was Tan, began to do the mani without pushing back cuticles or trimming or filing my nails first. After he was finished with applying powder to my nails, he began to file them down with a USED file. He seemed rushed and did not seem to put any effort into his work. I didn't have him do anything special - just one plain color. This was the first time I've gone to any tyoe of salon and not left a tip. read more

Not Clean. Some actually hurt giving pedicures or manicure, its not suppose to. I am a former Licensed Nail Technician. Also a proper pedicure can NOT be done in 30 min. They make it look like they are doing something but they are not accomplishing what you are paying for. They reuse the white files and the orange and purple buffers they have. They just wash them with soap and water. Ew. So they will use files/buffers on someones feet and then reuse it on someone else hands, vice versa and so on. They don't soak there tools in Liquid barbacide or a quadruple disinfectant to actually kill the fungus and other bacteria that are collected from people. There need to be the same liquid ran through the pedicure chairs for 10 minutes after each person to get the same bacteria and fungus out of the pipes so its no transferred to the next person. It was my first job in the industry and when i knew they were not doing the proper cleaning i started to bring my own stuff from home and disinfect properly but they told i couldn't do that because people would ask why i was doing it and they were not. Want to learn about the right way to do things. Go down the street to Salon Blue. They can show you how thing should be cleaned and how they should feel. Don't get me wrong the owner are the sweetest and nicest people in general. But when you think ethically and they know they are not doing the job right and just try to move your body like cattle for money, can they really be good? read more
