They have their own parking in this plaza. Walked in here around 8:30 PM. They close at 10PM. A lot of places around closed earlier for a Thursday night from my search. It was empty, but people took food to go. We had the place to ourself. Nice and chill. We had two males assist us. One was new and shadowing. They were very nice and helpful. We went with the pad thai chicken and added shrimp. $3 more for shrimp for 5 of them. We asked for sweet and extra saucy and limes. Our dish was so big for both of us and it came out just perfect. We will def keep this in mind bc both of us loved their pad thai. I thought the prices were up there, and I figured bc of the area, but when we were able to split this one seeing how big it was, it was worth it for sure.

Booking a reservation online was so easy, and it didn't end up being a busy evening, as it was a Tuesday night, so we could have easily walked in, as well. The parking was easy and upon driving up, I instantly remembered that this location used to be Roux, a great New Orleans inspired restaurant where I used to frequent for brunch. The same tiled ceiling is still in placed but the remaining features of the restaurant have all changed. The space is open and inviting, and the bar at the entrance has been updated. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the menu is lengthy with plenty of great options. I ordered the fried tofu for our starter, and it was perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce was delicious! The tofu was as so plentiful that I ended up taking half the starter home. They definitely give you plenty! For our entrees, I ordered Panang Curry with steamed tofu and my friend ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. Both dishes came out hot and smelled lovely, and the taste was out of this world! I ordered medium and it was the perfect spice level, and the curry was so flavorful and delicious! It may even be the best Panang Curry I've had in Tampa!

I'm glad I came a bit after the lunch crowd because parking in this area is always a nightmare with all of the other office space and restaurants right next door. To my surprise it was just me and 1 other guy in the entire restaurant. Now, it was a day after Easter at like 2pm, but still. I like how the bar area is divided between partly being inside and partly being outside. I decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather. It was a perfect 80 degree day. Up first, I had the $10 Spicy Edamame. I thought it was highly average. Not particularly spicy, and not particularly tasty. I wouldn't get this again. Then, I tried a $9 gyoza. Pretty standard as it should be. For the main course though. Wow, oh wow. I love me a great smoke show. The $22 Screaming Chicken Comes out absolutely screaming with smoke, steam, and sizzle. I loved the presentation. Then, they pour the hot sauce ontop of the meal and BOOM more sizzle!!! I asked for extra hot Thai spicy. The bartender laughed at me when I asked if I needed to sign a waiver. I said, ok so good to know it won't actually be spicy. I didn't even sweat eating the screaming chicken. I loved this dish and would absolutely come back for it again. For dessert, I'm a huge sucker for any donuts on a menu so I got the $8 Thai donuts. YES! I love the caramel sauce they are dipped in. I could eat these all day. Solid spot with lots of potential!

Location: Si Am Thai Restaurant Date: June 30, 2026…read moreService: Dine in This is this New York native first time ever ever at Siam Thai restaurants located in downtown Tampa Florida. I was with some friends my friends like Todd I love Thai so there we go. It's nearby the hotel and we're staying on and I haven't had time in a minute so here we go. The prices were affordable the ambience I love the decor inside and outside they even have a little fish aquarium and a water fountain. I drank the Thai tea was delicious and the mango sake strongly recommend and the pad Thai shrimp definitely sweet definitely spicy. There was hardly any left overs that the food was that good. My friends and I have a great time there as I am the staff was friendly We did not have to wait super long for the food and it was hot. I was highly pleased with the customer service dining experience that I received for the first time at this establishment. I highly recommend that you check out this restaurant whether you're on a lunch break visiting friends family check them out and the photos attached to just review.

All curries were good, but the panang was the standout at our table (we ordered panang, massaman, and green). This place is so pretty inside. Service wasn't exactly slow, but it had a weird pace. Like, if you came during your lunch break you'd have enough time, but you probably wouldn't get a drink refill and your entree would come out maybe a minute after your appetizer, and you wouldn't get the first drink you ordered til after all the food was on the table.

Nothing fancy, but nice. As my wife is part Thai, we ordered some of our go to favorites. For drinks, we started with a Thai tea. I've had my fair share of Thai tea, and this one was good! So refreshing! For meals, we typically share a meal, but this time we couldn't decide between chicken pad Thai or beef Thai basil.. so we got BOTH! Portions were good! We ended up killin' the pad Thai, and saved the Thai basil for later. Pad Thai was very flavorful and the Thai basil had a nice kick. But we couldn't stop there! Whenever we see a menu with mango sticky rice, we just can't say no! We topped off our dinner with that! The mango sticky rice was so rich and delicious. One of the best I've ever had! I would come back just for that. Overall, this was an amazing meal, and we would definitely come back. Authentic, yummy, and good portions! What else can you ask for?!? Enjoy!

The ambiance is typical of strip-mall restaurants but still welcoming. We got vegetable spring roll and fried tofu to start, and my sister (who is mostly vegetarian) and I split the ginger tofu. My mom, my aunt, and my brother-in-law all chose noodle dishes with meat, so I couldn't taste them, but they liked their meals. We got the vegetable spring rolls, which came with plum sauce. It was a good appetizer, but nothing unique. The fried tofu was also good, but I wasn't a fan of the peanut sauce that came with it. I really liked the ginger tofu., but my sister says she would have preferred something a bit less intensely gingery. And I'm glad my sister and I shared because the portions are pretty generous. Everyone else had leftovers to bring home. It's not the best dining experience, but the food is good enough, and the service is courteous and attentive. The next time I visit my mom, if she's in the mood for Thai, I'd go there again.
