It was very tasty and a good amount of food. The only thing I would change about my experience would be for the fries to be advertised as a side so that we'd know how much they cost, since the price wasn't listed on the menu. When I grabbed some ketchup packets for my fries, the packets had dirt on them which was a bit weird. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch or something. But over all the quality of the food was great, very tasty, and I'd order it again! The pita was very warm and soft.

It may have been the fact that at my first job out of high school, folks called the truck that swung by the "roach coach." Conversely, it may be my binge watching of food network and their Food Truck Rally that has changed my mind. Either way, I'm very pleased with the fact that I've begun exploring these great little mobile sources of food pleasure. This food truck swung by work recently, and I have to admit I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Middle East cuisine. The young woman taking the order was very patient and explained all the different plates, the variations available, and what came on each. Her top recommendation came for the beef shawarma and I told her I'd take it. One thing that folks have to realize is that these are mobile kitchens with very limited space. In today's age of fast food that seems to be sitting under a food warmer and being prepared long before you order, there is an unrealistic expectation that a food truck will spit your order out in a minute or two. I played on my phone for a while and was delighted when my name was called. The meat was perfectly seasoned and there was no skimping on the portions. The liberal amount of sauce on top added to the tastiness (and most definitely the messiness) of this dish. I'm hoping this food truck comes back soon. Not only for a chance to try some other of their tasty dishes, but also because of the friendliness of the woman at the window, and for how (relatively) quickly my food was served.

You order at the counter and then they give you a number to take to your chosen table. The decor is pure technicolor 60's/70's Filipino kitsch and it's amazing. The star of the show is the food. We ordered the calamansi lemonade and the Siargao Summer with tapioca pearls, the Five Spice BBQ Liempo and the Mochi-Fried Chicken rice plates, and the spicy vegan dumplings. For those worried about spice levels, everything listed as "spicy" is quite mild overall. The drinks were AMAZING. They would have gotten 5 stars just for those. The Siargao Summer truly tastes like a tropical summer in a cup. Then our food came, and the flavors were all off the charts. The BBQ Liempo had that perfect balance of sweet and savory, and was grilled to perfection. The mochi-fried chicken was crispy and was delicious with the adobo glaze. We found ourselves wishing they could just sell bottles of the tamarind-garlic aioli. The vegan dumplings were also a great take on chili oil wontons. All in all, we're bummed Lucky Tigre doesn't have a West Coast outpost, because the flavors are truly incredible! We're happy we at least got the chance to swing by, and hope we'll get the chance again in the future.

They have a great menu filled with amazing drinks both tea and coffee options, hot appetizers like bao buns and dumplings, and traditional rice plates and noodles. The plates were beautifully presented and the food came out fresh. You order at the front before sitting. We started with beef lumpia. They were crispy on the outside and tender filling inside. The lechon kawali was a little on the dry side but the taste was great with the tamarind aioli sauce. The skin was thick and very crispy. The cucumber salad and pickled onions were refreshing and paired very well with the richness of the pork belly. The jasmine rice was topped with crunchy garlic. The lemongrass chicken BBQ skewers was nicely charred and flavored perfectly. The pancit was a little sticky and not as seasoned as we had hoped. Lots of veggies though. The salted ube caramel latte was absolutely amazing! The portion sizes here were good for sharing. The parking was a nice lot nearby. The bathroom was well kept.

The service was top notch, and the ambiance was out of this world. To the point where we are planning to attend the themed dinners each month to see if they can continue the high bar they set this night. The star of the show was the food. O M G!! Each course and wine/drink pairing was phenomenal. The cheddar biscuit, shrimp with pimento cheese grits, that succulent pork ribeye, and bourbon ball dessert had us (figuratively) licking plates all night. 10/10 recommend you join the wine club and attend as many of these dinners as possible.

The $23.99 The Prime (French Dip) is also the best one you're going to find at any chain restaurant. Cooper's Hawk is the best chain restaurant in America in that mid-tier price point. The only other chain I put in this category is Yard House. I love coming here, and I don't even drink wine. I've done work dinner programs here for $3,000, come here by myself, before Buccs games, with dates, and no matter what it's always a great time with food, and drinks just how I like it. The only thing that sucks about this location is the parking. You can drive around the parking lot looking for parking. I try to come during off hours, but on the weekends when you walk in there might already been 100+ people taste testing wines when you walk in. The $17 Dirty Nasty is off the charts delicious. Cooper's Hawk really knows how to do a dirty martini, extra dirty. They even put in the blue cheese olives. I always start with this now. And everyone around me is always like, "OMG, what is the dirty nasty?" "I have to order one too." BOOM! You're welcome Cooper's Hawk! A couple TV's at the bar. Always lots of people here to randomly make new friends. I can't wait to go back!
