For entrées, the Trio of Medallions was cooked perfectly, with each filet offering a unique flavor, and the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon was tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wasabi mashed potatoes and Asian slaw. We also enjoyed a glass of the Blanc de Blanc, which was crisp, refreshing, and the perfect complement to our meal. What truly made the evening exceptional was our server, Hannah. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the food and wine, offered excellent recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her positive personality, attention to detail, and enthusiasm elevated an already fantastic meal into a memorable dining experience. Delicious food, wonderful wine, outstanding service, and a warm atmosphere, we'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Hannah again!

We started with the $14 wine tasting, which we had to wait for a spot to open for about 30 minutes on a Friday night. You get 8 pours of a variety of wine, and can take 2 to your table if needed. We started with the wedge - delicious and large. The star of the show was the Parmesan crusted filet mignon. Cooked nicely with well balanced sides. Lots of promotion for the wine club throughout the experience, maybe next time!

We had our pups with us and fyi they are very dog friendly. We both decided on a breakfast burger while I ordered onion strings and my wife had fries with hers. I had some delicious sweet tea and my wife had soda water with limes. The had chicken bowls for the pups that came with a lot of chicken. The service was beyond amazing, our server was always there when we needed her and she check on us a lot but not overkill. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday but although it was fairly busy it was loud. The manager came over and talked to us for a few minutes and he was very pleasant. I don't remember his name or our servers name but the entire staff seemed happy to be there. This business is near the stadium surrounded by a lot of businesses, so use your gps to locate it. Our waiter, Gavin (I believe... sorry) was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. He even created our cocktails based on what we liked. At the end, he also curated his own whiskey flight for us to try. We had two other brief waiters who came to drop off our food and they too were friendly. Food (brunch): For an appetizer, we ordered the candied bacon which honestly was the best bacon we've had. It was thick with a good combo of crispy and chewy. It wasn't soggy nor overly sweet, just perfect. For our main course, we ordered the breakfast sandwich which consisted of BEC w peppers, garlic-basil aoli on an everything bagel. The bagel was delicious (coming from a NYer, we were impressed). The sandwich was filling and you have your choice of sides (such as hash, fries, etc). Overall: We would highly recommend this spot. She was fun and even took our water order and served it to us. Never seen that before and more places should do this. Our server Caleb is easily top 3 of the servers we have ever had. Friendly, joking and very accommodating. His recommendations were spot on and after finding out about my wife's drinks tastes gave her the perfect drink. We also have to mention Lucky. Never has a food runner left such a lasting impression that we needed to ask for his name to give him the recognition he rightfully deserves. And we may also add that this place was very busy and this dedicated service went against this. We are already planning out next trip back and bringing others with us! Water 8.5/10

There was a tv out there so i know if i ever go with my husband he can watch his games (gooooo sports) while i indulge in my mimosas. I'd been studying the menu ever since my friend told me we were going. I ended up going with the avocado tartine and added smoked salmon. It was delicious and went well with a day of heavy drinking!! We also ordered the grazing board for the table which was amazing. I loved the assortment of cheeses and snacks. The butter on the board was bussinnnnn! I was in heaven!! I should mention the bottomless mimosas were $25 and the bottles literally just keep coming! Safe to say we were all feeling nice and toasty by the time we left. We hung out for a while without even getting kicked out I'd love to visit again and try more menu items. The server mentioned the cubano is the best Cuban you'll have. Now I'm always a bit skeptical bc everyone says that lol but the cubano came out looking gooooodT! I didn't try it but my friend who ordered it loved it! Parking was easy and right outside. We parked and checked in pretty quickly with ease. Thanks for the awesome service and experience! I definitely recommend adding district south kitchen & craft to your list of boozy brunch spots!

This place is fresh and healthy and makes you feel good about eating good. The first time I was here, it was a gorgeous "Florida winter" day so we sat outside-lunch on the large patio. This time, with a different group of friends, we were inside-on a Saturday evening. Glad we had a reservation. Because it was bustling and humming. But the vibes were still happy and healing. (As were the cocktails! The spicy pineapple margaritas are fantastic!) My fiends each ordered something different: a burger for one, a salad for another and a pizza for yet another. They were each delighted with their choices. I went for two appetizers: the charred cauliflower... which was excellent (those dates!) and a seasonal butternut squash soup that was unforgettably good-it satisfied both stomach and soul. One friend savored a Manhattan and two were all into the lavender matcha. Four completely different palettes but the same happy feeling. This was a good choice (thanks, Michelle) True Food Kitchen prides itself on fresh, quality ingredients and you can taste it. The menu isn't huge, but the variety is good and the flavors are tremendous. The interior is bright, with lots of windows and interesting seating. It was a little loud in there, but that's to be expected on a Saturday. I don't remember if there were desserts-we were so full, I don't think we even looked. I owe it to myself to go back and check. Midtown is so easy to park at (free garages!). And you can walk off your calories at the nearby shops (sadly, William Dean chocolates is closing this location, soon) I'll be back soon!

After that, we ordered our options for the girl dinner that they offered during the month of May. We started with our cocktails, which were both yummy! At the end, they had an option to add a dessert drink and two desserts to try for an additional $10. What a steal! Both desserts were delicious, but the lemon cake pop was definitely my favorite! I was pleased to see that the restaurant offered complementary valet, and was seated immediately upon arrival. Our server, Matt, greeted us expeditiously and was very friendly. He answered all about the questions about the menu with kindness and honesty. We decided to share a steak with sides and a salad. I was optimistic because the steak included one complementary side... sadly that deal probably should've been my indicator of quality. The food was not bad, but it also wasn't very good. In the restaurant defense, I did not realize it was a chain, so I'd say if you go in with expectations that you were eating at a chain restaurant you might be pleased with the output. Not having that knowledge beforehand, I found the steak to be extremely salty (it resembled a steak you would cook at home and top with the McCormick grilling seasonings -- very coarse) and the mac & cheese side to be very gritty (although the truffle flavor was nice). Despite the food being so far, we enjoyed our entire time at the restaurant and no small part due to our server. It wasn't until we left the restaurant and reflected on the evening that we came to the conclusion that the food was run of the mill and Matt was what made the experience positive. Because Tampa is such a vibrant food city, I don't imagine myself coming back when presented with the option to eat at a local restaurant; however, if I were in an area that only had chain or franchise meal options and I saw a Del Frisco's, I would probably return.
