Jobos - Meat stack with egg

Jobos

Jobos is located inside the fairly new Hotel Tupelo and just a short walk from Cadence Bank Arena,…read morewhich makes it super convenient. We came here for dinner one night, and while the experience started off rocky, it turned around quickly. There were several empty tables by the windows, so we asked our waitress if we could sit at one of them. She said no and told us that section was closed. The restaurant is narrow and was nearly empty, so it felt odd that those tables weren't available. She was also pretty rude about it. But then the manager came out, apologized immediately, and told us of course we could sit there. She even mentioned she'd been having issues with that particular waitress. Her quick response and professionalism honestly made the whole situation a non-issue and earned this place five stars right off the bat. As for the food, I ordered the burger, and it was great. They have some really good-looking cocktails, though I didn't try any that night. My friend ordered the shrimp cocktail as her main meal and enjoyed it. I'll definitely give Jobos my business again next time I'm in the area.

They were very bland. Our waitress was really nice and accommodated our group. She was very descriptive and shared her favorites with us I'll come back again as it's convenient for the location but will definitely try something different.

This was an excellent place to stop in for a sit down lunch. I got The Mission burger with onion…read morerings and both were excellent. The zesty sauce on the side was perfect with the onion rings (and also good to dip the burger in). I opted for the donut bread pudding and got an enormous serving that was delicious. The layout was open and comfortable, with numerous good seating options. The best part was the service - our waitress was very attentive, funny, and made us feel very welcomed. After paying our bill, she even brought us out some to-go drinks which we really appreciate.

I have to say the employees were all great, you can tell that they enjoy coming to work. As I placed my order to go I was able to take some pics and explore a little. I could see this being a very cool place to hang with friends and have a good time indoors or out, I saw plenty of outdoor seating and televisions. They also have an open kitchen. I love an open kitchen! Now let's get into the food, I ordered The Lauren Burger with Truffle Fries. The burger consisted of bacon, cheddar, fried avocado, crispy onions, lettuce and a BBQ Ranch Sauce. With that said, any burger is only as good as the meat. At first bite I could tell that they're using quality meat, I would have preferred it to be cooked a little under but I should have requested that. The bacon, cheese and avocado were a perfect combination for the bbq ranch sauce If I had to find something to change, I would have had a little less crispy onions but the burger was good! I had it on a Brioche Bun. I would definitely recommend this place and I'll return to try other things on the menu.
