The interesting thing, though, is that it goes beyond a hardware shop: they also have a lot of pet supplies, and yes, they even sell animals such as guinea pigs and ducks. That's pretty cool. The people who work here are really pleasant and helpful, and the selection and pricing are also very good. Country Living is generally my first stop when I need tools or supplies, especially since it's very close to where I live. It's a good thing to support a useful local store. I'd really recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

However, today was first time I used their Curbside Pickup option. I placed an order online and paid for it. Next day I drove up, and called store to let them know I wanted curbside pick up. I was told to drive around back. A staff member was out in two minutes with my order. I was asked where I wanted him to put the order. I signed a paper acknowledging I received items. Then I was given my receipt and thanked for my business. Start to finish once I arrived at store was less than 6 minutes. Efficient process. I drove off to continue running errands.

I was asked if I needed assistance as soon as I walked into the store on Lapp Rd. in Clifton Park…read more Having just spent time unsuccessfully trying to locate several items I was shopping for at Walmart and Lowes, both in their stores and online, and then searching online at Home Depot for the same items with no success, I decide to accept the offer and specify the item that Robinson's Ace Hardware web page said they had in stock. While the clerk was not familiar with the exact product I was looking for, Glisten Washing Machine cleaner, he did accompany me to the isle where he said it should be if they carried it. We both searched and didn't see it. He stopped another clerk and asked him if he was familiar with the product. He was not. I showed them both a photo of the product and neither of them recognized it as a product they offered for sale. I commented that my earlier online search said they had it in stock, so I began one final scan down the aisle commenting that the orange package color should really stand out. Low and behold, it did! There was only one of the product left. I decided to push my luck. Another item that my web search told me was available and in stock at both Walmart and Robinson's was a Presta to Schrader valve stem adapter (Google it). Walmart didn't have it. The Ace staff took me to another individual who was able to look it up on their computer and tell me that they could order it and I'd have it on Monday. I'm writing this on Sunday, if it doesn't arrive on Monday I'll be back to update this review. I like the helpfulness of all the staff here and appreciate the extent they went to in order to please a customer. I personally like that the store has a sort of corner shop vibe although it's not exactly small. The store is airways well lit and aisles are clearly labeled, and again the staff here have been exceptionally helpful. The news BBQ section in the back atrium is impressive even if I'm not the biggest cook in the family. And I also saw a custom shirt section although by the looks of it, I may be able to customise more than t-shirts. I hope they keep improving and stay open for a long time.
