Douglas Burgers is the standard for the classic American Burger joint in my humble opinion. They have all the classics: Pastrami, Roast Beef, Steak Sandwich, Chicken Fried Steak, Hash-browns, Omelets, Home Made Chilli, Chorizo, Fried Chicken, Tuna Salad, Home Made Rice & Beans, Carne Asada, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and way more. I have tried them all and love it, I never get bored with this place! This is the kind of place where quality and portion size have remained the main priority. The food is really inexpensive for how much food you are getting and the quality. Also I can really taste the difference between any old cheese burger from Carls or Burger King, for example, and Douglas' quarter-lb hamburger charbroiled on an open fire with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and thousand island dressing. It is truly no comparison. This place has been in business since the 70's from what one of the cooks told me too, so they obviously are doing something right!! read more

I went into to grab a cheese burger combo for lunch. I asked for an orange bang instead of a soda, and the cashier rudely said its a $1.85 more, I told her it is okay a soda would be fine. I glanced the menu and the price for a soda or orange bang was the same. Did not give it much thought. Another customer walks up and asks for ranch, she hands him two small containers of ranch, when my order was up I politely asked for a small container of ranch and the cashier rudely says its .65 cents, I than get upset and say no thank you and walk away. So this place used to be really good. It was my favorite breakfast burrito place but over the last few years it has definitely changed. Ordered a burrito this morning and it's basically all hash brown with no salt very little cheese and as you can imagine zero flavor. Now the service has always been whatever but I overlooked it because the food was great but the lady today was a whole other level of horrible. But that is entirely too long of a story to get into on here. Anyway guess I got look for another breakfast burrito spot cause this place is just not it anymore. read more
