I knew Mom wanted doughnuts or something sweet but forgot to stop near my house so I suggested we stop after lunch here. I've never been but have heard they were good. I picked a dozen doughnuts. The donuts were priced inbetween Dunkin and Parlor Donuts near my house. I believe their dozen donut price was $26.99? I'll bring some home to hubby as well. I just had the taffy apple filled donut which was yummo!! I'll definitely be back! Nice sweet treat for Mom!

They now sell bagels and bagel sandwiches. I had a ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. the eggs seem to be lacking salt and pepper. I would go back the doughnuts are good and you can't go wrong. I thought it's called donut co.

The 3 donuts I got was the WORSE donuts I have EVER eaten - no kidding. I was extremely disappointed. They had a stale taste, like they were made 2-3 days ago. Yuck!!!

I first learned of this business when they were in Oak Lawn under the name The Local Bagel Co. I am so excited to see that they are still operating, I missed their bagels, and of course I hunt them down. I saw on their Facebook page that they just started offering bagels here, and they have a deal until 6/7 on bagels. You can get 20% off 6 bagels with a tub of cream cheese or 20% off the baker's dozen with 2 tubs of cream cheese. I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of the jalapeño cheddar bagels on Saturday, but they still have plenty of other fun flavors like blueberry, egg, egg everything, everything, etc. The service was friendly, accurate and efficient. Beyond just bagels they also sell coffee and donuts. There's also plenty of free parking on premise. It's a grab and go business. I'd totally come back when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area looking for all things coffee, bagels and donuts!

Great variety of doughnuts! They have coconut doughnuts which was amazing because Dunkin sadly doesn't carry them anymore.

I ordered their special Baboo Chai which has blueberry and cinnamon roll flavors, and it was unbelievable. Sweet, warm, and totally unique. My brother got a hot chocolate and an apple fritter, and he couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. We drove a little over an hour to get there, and it was truly so worth the trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming the entire time. You can tell they really care about their customers. Even with the rush, they kept the line moving quickly and stayed warm and kind with everyone who came through the door. The whole energy of the place just felt comforting and happy. I definitely recommend visiting Folklore if you get the chance. It is one of those spots that makes you want to come back again and again for both the amazing drinks and the wonderful service.

The shop is quite small though and only has a handful of seats which can fill up on the weekends. No table service, order at the counter which is not a big deal. The counter person was pleasant and helpful. They'll call your name when your beverage is ready. The muffins were pretty tasty, but the coffee and machta drinks were both just okay. Bonus points for the kids coloring pages.

Shaghf Cafe - We got there shortly after it opened. Quiet at first, but it picked up throughout the day.

Being that Ramadan had recently started, I assumed this was post iftar, the evening break in the fast and peeps were coming for drinks and desserts. A conversation with the barista pushed me towards the aforementioned and they said they could lighten the sweetness.
