"We took 200-pound ingots of affordability and DURABILITY (emphasis mine), melted them in a blast…read morefurnace, and re-cast them into tough, value-priced, easy-care, comfort-armor." This is how Work 'N Gear advertises their brand. Do not purchase Work n Gear brand clothing. They do not stand behind their product. Despite their advertising, their clothing is not durable. It does not hold up to even casual use, never mind it's intended heavy use. I purchased a pair of their fleece lined carpenter style work jeans for casual winter wear. I liked them a lot, even thought the fit and finish is atrocious, the stitching is terrible and the inner fleece liner is smaller than than the outer jeans so it makes the jeans bunch up in places. In spite of all this they are warm and I liked them so much I even bought a 2nd pair of a different style. I bought them December 31st. I wore them like normal pants, never used for construction or heavy work of any type. I bought them because they are warm. In April I bent over and the material in the seat separated, just pulled apart, leaving a 6 inch split in the material. I have experienced this with jeans that are 10 or more years old, with hundreds of washings, but never have I had a pair of any type of pants have material separate in only 5 months. Work n Gear told me that they have a 30 day return policy and there was nothing they could do. Their clothing is not durable and is not warrantied and they don't stand behind their own products. I am very disappointed because, as I stated, I really liked these jeans in spite of their overall poor workmanship. I was prepared to be a loyal customer for many years to come. I was expecting them to simply replace them and was shocked that they not only didn't, but didn't appear to care that their own brand had this problem. The store is great if you stick to products made by manufacturers other than Work n Gear themselves. I got these at the Dedham Store which is not at issue. Everyone at that store was fantastic but their hands were tied by execrable company policy.

Horrible company! Place an order to ship NDA and 5 days later I asked for an update and was told…read morelet me check with the vendor... Um no you should have checked with the vendor 5 days ago. Next email seconds later I asked for a refund and they told me sorry can't but will ship with a return label. So they just want me to lose the $70 next day shipping charge even though they just confirmed that nothing has shipped yet. They are horrible for customer service. I am a small business owner and customer are EVERYTHING! Such a shame companies start growing and can't see this. Let alone its just common respect to not treat people such a way. If the product had already shipped yes I understand that when I return I would lose my shipping money. BUT nothing has shipped yet! Thanks fellow American!

Asked staff lady (black, bleached hair, glasses) if they carried the short-sleeve Dickies…read morecoveralls. She said she doubts it, juuuust as I look over her shoulder to see a whole rack of them on the left back wall of the store. They carry mainly large sizes in stock, with the Med R & Med Tall the onky two smaller sizes left. I was just disappointed with the absolute lack of effort on this lady's part. She had no idea what she had in the small shop. 50% of the stock is scrubs, but she didn't even bother to check to see if they carried any other item. Just looked around and shrugged. She barely even seemed present. Completely zoned out and leaning against a shelf. She did greet me as I came in, I'll give her that much.
