There are many unique elements to this park that not many other parks have. In addition to an…read moreoutdoor amphitheater, a river peacefully flowing underneath a very creaky bridge, a white gazebo, a beautiful circular area honoring veterans and military men and women, and many walking paths, this park is also home to the Bothell Historical Museum (which is closed for the year until April) and an amazing authentic cabin that was built by a married couple in the 1880s! The playground at this park is very small, and on the evening that my husband and I visited (yesterday), there was a ratio of about 15 adults to every 1 kid that we saw at this park. My husband and I enjoyed looking at the river together while standing near the middle of the bridge. It felt romantic, until our quiet reverie was loudly interrupted by the cawing of hundreds of birds overhead, flying directly above us, heading back up north for the spring. I wish I knew what type of birds they were. They were flying so high up in the air that visually they appeared as blackish specks in the sky, although auditorially their concert of squawks seemed like it was being blasted through loudspeakers! A wonderful sight, though - I momentarily felt almost as though I was living inside a nature documentary dvd. My husband and I also spotted a single heron, gracefully and noiselessly flying low above the river. It was a majestic sight. A unique and rewarding park experience. I would definitely return.

Cute and clean little park. It is low frills and better for small kids (5 and under,) but my kids…read morestill had a really good time playing and on the zip line.

I've always loved this beach and park! The docks are so nice to walk out on, and there are plenty…read moreof picnic tables on the grassy area along with benches on the docks. I love that they added the swim beach -- it's such a perfect touch! It's great for paddle boarding and all kinds of summer adventures. I also love coming down here in the fall to read a book or journal on those gloomy days. When I want a long walk and some fresh air, this is one of my favorite places to go. The scenery is beautiful, and you can easily spend a good amount of time just walking around and enjoying the water. My only complaint is that I wish there was more parking. Other than that, it's one of my favorite spots to get outside less than 10m from my house

I often bring food from Buddha Brothas and eat with my family and the park benches are mostly clean. What I appreciate about Log Boom is that there is usually a Lake Forest park patrol car parked in the parking lot in case there is an accident. I have gone to other parks and law enforcement is non existent. I once saw a forklift with keys by the park and let a dispatcher know. I'm very pleased by this park. Great views, convenient, and perfect for all ages.
