You place your order at the counter, and they bring the pizza to your table. They make Neapolitan pies from three wood-fired ovens imported straight from Naples -- with dough and sauce made fresh, in-house, every single day. I waited 10 to 15 minutes for them to bring my pizza. The pizza tasted hot, fresh and flavorful. Based upon the taste and quality of the pizza, I would definitely consider returning. One thing to note about parking. They do have a small private parking lot, but be certain you are visiting the restaurant when parking there. There are "towing enforced" signs. So, if you're in the downtown Roswell area, definitely try Pizzeria Lucca. Cheers

They use Italian double-zero flour, high-quality ingredients, and an authentic Italian oven that turns out that perfect thin, slightly charred crust you want from true Neapolitan-style pizza. Everything tastes fresh, simple, and done the right way. Another big plus is the atmosphere. There's usually plenty of room inside, so it's an easy place to bring the family, and the front porch is a great spot to sit outside, enjoy a beverage, and have a relaxed meal. For me, Pizza Lucca rivals Antico when it comes to authentic Italian pizza--and having something this good right here in Roswell makes it even better. Highly recommend.

Once inside, it's impressive how big the dining area and the patio actually are. They have a large table the length of the bar that is perfect for large groups. She provided great recommendations and gave us the opportunity to try the garlic bread as first time diners. I tried the Baked Lumache based upon Dasia's suggestion. It was really the perfect dish combing the meatballs with cheesy baked pasta. My family tried the Eggplant Parmigiana and agreed that it was one of the best. So, if you are looking for an upscale Italian dining experience in the Roswell area, you definitely need to try Grana. We would definitely consider returning and highly recommend the restaurant to others. Cheers

Completely unacceptable experience and definitely not somewhere I would return to. Giving 2 stars only because the pasta itself was decent.

Hubby and I are early birds, so no surprise that we were the only ones there upon arrival around 4ish. We sat down and started to look over the menu. There was only one guy working and whether intentionally or not, he definitely gave off a vibe that felt like he was annoyed we had come in, which wasn't a great first impression. He never gave us napkins or utensils, so hubby got up and got some for us after the garlic bread we ordered as a starter arrived. The garlic bread was literally just toast with some garlic spread slathered on. It wasn't great, and we would not order it again. Aside from that, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and hubby got his weird Hawaiian concoction that I will never understand the appeal of. My pepperoni pizza was amazing. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni distribution were spot on, and the best part is that the bottom was perfectly crispy but not burned. Hubby's was good too, though he is less appreciative of the crisp factor than I am, though to be fair, he is not really much of a pizza fan to begin with and was just humoring my date night pick. After our pizza was brought to the table, other employees had started to arrive. Salty dude disappeared and a much nicer lady took over for him by bringing us drink refills and later closing out our tab. We will not be returning for date night, but the pizza was definitely good enough for a repeat visit. I will most likely just order as carryout during lunchtime instead, though. I wasn't really a fan of the vibe for dining in, particularly due to the salty guy who we seemed to annoy at the beginning, but I think the pizza was definitely worth coming back for.

I just recently went again for the gorgeous expansion and am HOOKED! It is so much more than a pizzeria as it has an extensive menu with pastas, salads, desserts and a great wine list. A must try for anyone who is looking for a great Italian meal that is home made with both a casual and now upscale ambiance. Here is the scoop: Food: I judge all Italian pizza by the basics - if you can nail the margherita - you know what you are doing. This is the BEST margherita pizza in Atlanta - hands down. The dough, the sauce, the cheese - all high quality ingredients and baked to perfection. I love the rigatoni a la vodka for pasta. I am a pescatarian but tend to stick to vegetarian dishes at Italian restaurants. The caprese salad is wow. The pasta is perfectly al dente and the sauce is incredibly delicious (add burrata for extra creaminess). The dessert however is my to-die-for favorite thing here - the tiramisu! It is the fluffiest, just enough coffee flavor (not overpowering like most places) piece of heaven I have the pleasure of devouring every time I enjoy a meal at Sunnyside (warning it is a massive piece of tiramisu so enjoy responsibly!). It truly is the icing on cake at the end a delicious meal. Kids love the gelato and it is home made - the ingredients are thoughtfully selected and they change up the offerings all the time, keeping it interesting for both grown ups and kiddos. Ambiance: for walks in the area is super cute and trendy - essentially the part of the restaurant that existed before. It gets packed quickly so come early to secure your table. The new expansion is GORGEOUS and reserved for reservations only. This space has a stunning rose crystal light up bar that takes center stage. There are comfortable booths for larger parties. The color schemes are warm, inviting and modern making it perfect to bring the family, date night, girls night, etc. etc. Parking: free, easy parking in lot right in front. Reservations: Resy So glad to see this restaurant continue their succcess/expand and welcome even more guests to enjoy a lovely Italian meal in a beatiful ambiance.

Great so I wasn't walking from the parking structure off Alpharetta St. Either is free, but if you don't want to drop a few bucks to tip the valet .... I came in on a Friday evening without a reservation. Chose to sit at the bar. Had a great experience. Chatting with locals as well as the staff and enjoyed a nice meal and a few adult beverages. See photos. Grabbed a salad, some pasta and couldn't pass on the dessert. The Insalata Romana dressing was subdued so for those who don't like bold and zesty - it'll be right up their alley. Not too light though - any lighter and I might have asked for more seasoning. I enjoyed the flavors of the Tagliolini Bolognese. It was hearty, savory and I could see it being a comfort food me if I were a local. I would have liked the pasta to be on the Al dente side but it wasn't mushy to the point that there wasn't any chew. Also enjoyed the dessert. Great way to cap the meal. Really enjoyed the experience there overall. Sitting at the bar, not loud - kinda intimate. Maybe 10 seats. Beer, wine and spirits. Also a happy hour to finish out a work day. I've eaten at a few spots on Canton and I can say that for me, this is another spot I'd recommend and go back to.

I couldn't decide what I wanted for a glass of wine and they offered to bring me glasses to sample. I love this-- I saw them offer same service to another table close by. We split the Caesar and they were kind enough to diving between two bowls. The only other place that does this for us is Cibo e Beve. The focaccia was wonderful with large flakes of salt on top and went great with their olive oil. We are truly picky Caesar eaters and this one had freshly shaved Parmesan and obvious homemade croutons. Pasta was fabulous for both of us. Would we dine here again? Definitely not the bar and probably not the dining room, but would come back to dine outdoors. Carrie was our waitress and she was fantastic.
