Ordered a the works pizza and put to please add jalapeños in the notes. Got back to the hotel and it was a cheese pizza with only jalapeños. Boneheads. read more

I love their buffalo chicken pizza and wings!!! I've already had it twice this week and also the apple fritter is good as well not a big fan of the pizza roll tho it has too much dough but overall it's great read more

Staff is always friendly, and their thin crust is the best! Buffet option is also nice.

We ordered a small thin crust beef pizza for delivery and it was 30 minutes later than what they told me and the pizza was overcooked and had less than a dozen pieces of meat on the whole pizza and very little cheese. We used to love this place but boy have we changed our minds read more

Extremely disappointed delivery took almost 2 hours to arrive. We lived less than 2 miles away. Pizza was cold and wings were burnt plus they ripped me off on all of my sauces they didn't include i.e. Ranch ..... never eat from this place again ....COMPLETE GARBAGE I tipped them online prior to this diabolical .... total mistake read more

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! The new guys seem to have this place running much better than it was previously. So far so good. Hope they keep it up!

Oh let me tell you about this experience I called at 8. Yes I understand they close at 9 but I was only 5 miles away. Asked for delivery and the gentleman man told me it would be one hour to a hour and a half do to road conditions. Really? I had been outside all day the weather never was that bad. Lazy employees will always get you bad reviews. By the way the dominoes guy was amazing he arrived in just 15 mins after I made my order. I would recommend them before this place. read more

Sigh.... We have eaten at other Doubledaves locations however it has been several years. But I remember loving the pepperoni rolls. We decided to order a large meat eaters and some pepperoni rolls. The pizza was extreme mediocre. The meat was good, the sauce and cheese were very meh and the crust was like cardboard. The pepperoni rolls were awesome. So we may order again to try to regular thick crust, maybe some more veggies, but as far as the pizza goes it was not good. read more

always great buffet. specialty pizzas usually very good as well. stromboli is the best and dessert pizzas too! a plus point for excellent tea. help is attentive, friendly. parking easy with some shade available read more

Let me first say that this review is written based only on customer service and false advertising. Having arrived late to my hotel (I am a flight attendant) and learning that eat in restaurants in the area close at 9pm, the front desk recommended that I call this place. She said they deliver until 10. I looked them up on yelp, made my menu choice and called at exactly 9:22. The person on the phone said that they were "past their delivery time". I explained that the website said that they are delivery and open till 10. He explained that that is only when they are at "full staff". I explained my situation and that I was pretty desperate for food and he said, "Whataburger's open". Once again, I am at a hotel with no vehicle. Thanks man. Way to represent your restaurant. And your city for that matter. read more

Pizza came and wasn't cooked all the way through. This pizza is no better than Pizza Hut or dominoes. Not terrible but not great.

Amazing pizza! I usually get a carryout and they always have it done before their ETA. The staff is so very friendly, I can't help but to tip them every time. I almost want to quit my job to work with them. read more

My wife and I ordered a pepperoni pizza for delivery to our hotel. They said it would be delivered in 40 minutes. It was delivered in 35 minutes but looks like it has been sitting for a while. The flavor is good but very cardboard cold. read more

Very disappointing experience! We called and ordered 6 pizzas and some wings. The guy on the phone advised it would be an hour. Another person in the background could be heard telling the worker on the phone that it would be a 2 to 3 hour way due to it being such a large order and with the delivery. The tone was rude. We offered to do carryout instead and were told it would still be over 2 hours. It really wasn't that large of an order. It felt like they were being put out, yet the food industry is a customer service based business. Even if it was an unusually busy night, it shouldn't have been that we were bothering them. Needless to say we did not place the order and will likely not be placing any in the future either. read more

This place has some really great pizza, but I would advise eating in instead of having them deliver. I have completely stopped ordering from here for delivery because it has taken over two hours the past several times and they don't seem to think it's anything out of the ordinary. Sorry, but I don't want to wait 2 1/2 hours for cold pizza. Don't bother complaining either, because instead of giving you a refund, the manager wants you to come have dinner at the restaurant with them for free. I'd rather just have a refund. Complaints about the delivery service aside, it's a nice place to eat inside. It's clean with the typical pizza restaurant atmosphere with a salad bar and tvs to watch sports. They also serve a variety of beers on tap. The pizza is pretty good and the crust has a unique flavor, which is my favorite part about it. read more

I ordered the chicken parm stuffer, and the chicken was raw, and cold, and the bread was still dough on the inside :( will not be ordering from here again read more

We've eaten at DoubleDave's twice since the new management took over, and both times were great. New management has turned this into a great pizza joint, there is plenty on the buffet, the restaurant is clean, and the staff cares. The owner took the time to take away our dirty dishes, and his attention to detail showed in every aspect of the restaurant. Bottom line: this is the best pizza joint in Midland. If you gave up on the old management, I recommend you give it another shot. read more

Good most of the time, staff is underwhelming. Please give a crap about what you are getting paid to do.

Double Dave's has become one of my fav places to eat! Best salad bar in Midland. Pizza is hot and everything is super clean. Kids that work there are polite and friendly. Love it!! read more

Pizza was great. They got our order wrong and brought out an extra pizza for us, since we had been waiting for a while. Good service, there were a lot of dirty tables, for a place that wasn't too busy.. Aside from the unclean tables, it's a pretty relaxed atmosphere. read more

Ladies and Gentlemen. Pull out your wallets and goto Double Daves. Buy a beer, get the buffet eat some Stromboli and get full. The price aint half bad either. read more

I love their pizza rolls and the beer is cold. The kids like the pizza. Double Dave's is my GO TO place when we can't decide where else to go in any city that has a Double Dave's. The buffet times are a better deal.....I sure wish they had the buffet on weekends. read more

To be honest, I wasn't too impressed with the pizza, BUT the pepperoni rolls were great. The show stopper was the Philly Stromboli! I can't even describe how delicious this was. I will come back for more and it makes me want to try other menu items. read more

Though they deliver they will not deliver to the motel I'm in and it's only three miles away. It's a shame since most Double Daves have pretty good pizza. read more

Delivery guy and phone guy were very friendly but that was the best part. Pizza and two subs were underwhelming. I ordered two side salads for 3.99 each and it was lettuce...seriously...only lettuce. How is that a salad? read more

We really like the pepperoni rolls from Double Daves. Today, everythign was extra, extra fabulous! Online ordering was easy, delivery service was fast, and today, the rolls were the best they have ever been. Thank you Double Dave's! read more

The choices are eh- no buffet except on Wednesday - completely empty inside and nothing to make me want to come back. They brought the marinara sauce straight out of the refrigerator- stated they have no way of heating it up- which means it's out of a can - pizza was mediocre - Sams pizza is way better! I would give 1/2 a star. read more

Best pizza around! I had four different kinds of pizza from the buffet and all of them were wonderful. Crust seems to be a blend between thin and original. Loved finding this gem in Midland! read more

Garbage!!!cold ass pizza, dry ass wings for $40..if u want better pizza and wings, buy a $1.00 totina frozen pizza and stripes hot wings..fuck this place never again!!!! read more

Ok, tried calling in the order but after asking one question, I was hung up on. Tried calling back and call was never answered. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt so I went in. The shop seemed fully staffed with 5 folks but service seemed slow. Food is ok here, but service seriously lags. read more

Pizza is decent compared to your other choices in the Midland area but make sure to pick up never ask for delivery they almost never get your address correct and always takes more than an hour to get to you we're at one and a half hours waiting and we only live 15 mins away!! Last time we take our chances with them!! read more

Ordered pizza rolls twice now for delivery...both times they forgot the dipping sauce...I even called after I made my last order to insure I got the sauce...still no sauce....VERY irritating read more

I would give more stars if there service wouldn't have gone down. We have ordered many times from this location pick up and delivery. At first all.was great better then other pizza places. Then in the last couple of months they are super late or food was cold when delivered. We did an online order today for pick up. Order was received at 6:45 and they did not even start cooking till 7:35. So my husband sit there and waits. Super disappointed read more

Make another choice ! Went in there to order a pizza to go. Was told it would take about 15 minutes. After 20 minutes I went back up to check the status, and they hadn't even put it in the oven. Called back and spoke with Manager - Her comments, Oh well. I asked if there was anything that they normally do in that situation. She said No. Tried to get in touch with Michael and he seems to never be there. Guess I will go back to my other pizza choices. Oh, by the way 2 other people walked out with me that same night. read more

I called to place an order at 915pm and they answered and said they closed early because they ran out of cheese. We were close by and decided to stop and see if we could order something other than pizza and they completely ignored us. read more

TERRIBLE ALL AROUND!!!! I know midland is crap for finding good places to eat, so I figured I'd give this place a shot anyway....MISTAKE. Yea everyplace in west Texas has horrid service and this place is no exception...possibly the worst. Now onto the extremely overpriced bad pizza, I was going to call it little ceasers pizza but that would be an insult to LCs pizza which I should've just got instead of this waste. Apparently everyone that has given this place a good review has never been out of west Texas. read more

We came in Saturday with unusual requests. Brian was our cashier, cook, and server today. He made us very happy with all our special orders. The pizza was served hot and quick. I had issue with the taste of my drink- the rest was perfection. read more

Well I placed an order online at 7:23 pm. It was delivered at 9:40 pm. I made 2 calls to the store, once at 8:30 when I was told it would be "20 minutes, well more like 15" without an apology or explanation; the second call at 9 pm when they told me they had an hour and a half wait but the delivery driver had left 30 minutes before so it shouldn't be much longer...still no apology or explanation. I had tried to pay online with my Visa but I got an error message so I figured I pay the driver. He was unable to process a credit card and they do not take checks so I had to call my payment in. I ordered a deep dish, which I did not get, and the crust was soggy (probably from rinsing around in the delivery car for so long). I'm new to midland and have heard that there is no where in town with good service or competent workers. I'm sorry to say that I am finding that too true. I felt super bad for the delivery guy. He seemed nice and I got the feeling he may have been the only one they had. read more

DoubleDave's Pizzaworks - "Deep Dish"? - Pizza Near Me - Midland, Texas

We went on a Wednesday night buffet night. The salad bar was a mess and bugs were flying around under the glass. There was no silverware & when I asked for a fork, I received a cheap plastic one. The window that allows one to look into the kitchen was filthy. A young man was sweeping the floors with a dust mop and then used the same mop to sweep out the booths. The employees had no gumption - they just trudged around with no sense of urgency. I heard people request the same pizza multiple times for the buffet with no response. The restrooms were very unkept. On a positive note, the fresh pizza & stromboli that finally came out were very good! Overall though, a disappointing experience. read more

Food was ok. The staff had hygiene issues. After touching hair and body parts like nose, hair, ears etc. They never washed their hands. Nasty group of employes . I'll never eat there again. read more
