We have been a fan of the DoubleDaves chain for many years. Since moving to Keller 2.5 years ago, we have frequented this location. We also order delivery from here at least once a month. We have family in Plano that drive over just to eat DoubleDaves. In the past several months, the quality of the delivery and dine-in experience has dropped dramatically. Recently, we arrived at 12:15 for a lunch buffet and discovered that there was NOTHING on the buffet. On another visit, so many tables were in-bussed that we had trouble finding a place to sit. The employees seemed irritated that we were even there. The kitchen struggles to keep their famous rolls on the buffet, so they under-cook them and throw them out a dozen at a time, while patrons watch, waiting to swoop in like buzzards. The games that my child enjoys are almost always out of order and the quarter candy machines are filled with old candy that isn't worth eating. Last month, we ordered delivery and received Stromboli and rolls that were undercooked and a dessert pizza that was SEVERELY overcooked. (The pizza slices could be broken in half.) We ended up throwing it all away. SUGGESTION: if the establishment had a light that they could illuminate when the owner is there, we might stop by more often. That seems to be the only time the service and quality are elevated. read more

Really disappointed in this place. We recently moved back to Keller and I was excited to try a place I loved growing up. We ordered our pizza this evening and were told that it would be about 35 minutes. Fast forward an hour and we called to make sure it was even still coming. When it finally arrived over an hour later it was hardly even edible. The pizza was so soggy that I couldn't even pick up a slice without it completely falling apart, and it wasn't even slightly warm. For the price of one large pizza and a dessert pizza, and the overall quality ... I WILL NOT be ordering again unless something changes. It's a pizza buffet... so I mean really, if you go in there expecting brilliance you're an idiot. :) It is really quite good for what it is. The girls at the register seemed to have more important things than work to do... but well, so did I when I was 16. They were as nice as hormonal teens can be. Their pizza is better than CiCi's, their salad bar is not. They're more expensive and offer less than CiCi's, but well, pizza IS better at Double Dave's and that's the draw... so 3 stars on buffet pizza, because dammit it was pretty a-ok, but it could have been a hell of a lot warmer. read more

My husband, daughter (4yo) and I ate here for the first time today. We all had the buffet and it was delicious. Much higher quality pizza than your typical cheap buffet place. Their prices are higher, but you can taste the difference in their pizza on the first bite. A lot of variety. If you're not sure about trying something new, find a coupon for a free buffet. I was excited to try DoubleDave's but unfortunately the quality was a major let down.. pizza came soggy with toppings that wouldn't stay on.. two desert pizzas that just were not good quality.. I literally took two bites of each of them and just threw the rest out.. This is coming from someone who loves all pizza from all places. We decided we wanted pizza and a lot of it so what better than a pizza buffet? We used to go to the one that was in Colleyville/Euless of 121 but it shut down a few years ago leaving us with our only option was to drive to Keller. I called ahead to check the prices because the buffet fee was not listed, once I had the info we headed out to go and check it out. When we got to Double Daves there were a few people in eating but not a lot, we found our seat, grabbed a high chair and saw it was broken so we went through every single high chair and they were all broken, not a single one had a strap or buckle that worked and all of them had a wobbly back (asking for a disaster). We were already there and decided to just hold my son while we ate to keep him safe since he is a wiggler. We went to get the pizza but unfortunately there were only 4 pies out and two were BBQ, one had jalapeños, and one buffalo these are fine but i really wish they had a mushroom, a cheese, a pepperoni, or a sausage, something standard that all ages are able to eat. At the end by the deserts we found some pepperoni rolls that were decent and I was able to cut them up for my child but the issue was there were only two of them so obviously that was not enough. This place isn't bad but I am giving it two stars because it wasn't good for us considering the highchair situation and pie choices. *There was an older gentleman that was booking it on the floor and busing the tables like a champ, he was so friendly and kind and just overall amazing, if this guy wasn't the boss he needs to be because we were so impressed with him! positive +the awesome employee (older gentleman) who worked the floors and bused the tables. This place is my favorite place to eat! We just moved to the Keller area and were looking for a new spot and we found it! We came in Sunday ,January 26th around 6. We were the only ones there somehow but allison the manager made all the pizzas fresh and even asked what kind of pizzas we wanted to eat and since it was our first time she even gave us free drinks! We felt like Kings and queens and they even have a little game room for my kids that loved everything about it! When we were getting ready to leave, allison gave us a coupon for our next visit witch really surprised us, but we will definitely be back and keep coming back. My wife and i were here about 6 on a recent Monday evening. One other table was occupied. If you enjoy room temperature pizza with few meat toppings, this place is for you. No mushrooms on the salad bar or pizzas. No jalapeño peppers. No pasta or sauce, and no soup. Im used to having that at lower priced places. We arrived at 8:00 for the buffet, and ordered 4 buffets There wasn't much pizza out and they never replenished any. When my husband went to ask if they were putting anymore pizza out at 8:30 , she pointed to the sign & said the buffet is over at 8. She actually refunded 2 of the buffets "this time". Searching for good places to EAT. Staff... Great staff... saw two cooks and one front desk friendly lady. Greeted and paid for my food. Asked if there was anything special i like them to bring out... I mention chicken and they got that for me. When I started to browse thier wall they asked if everything was ok... I said yes thank you... nice to have attentive staff. Atmosphere... Nice place... sports banners hang fromt the ceiling and there are 1/2 a dozen tv alone the wall. The place is spacious and not old looking. They even had an arcade area for the kids with a change machine. The restroom was OK but the men's room had a bad light and it flickered like it wanted to put me in trance. This should not be as it should have been fixed before the lunch crowd. Food... They kept the pizza bar filled and the salad bar had a good selection of topings. I wish the salad was fuller especially duing lunch. The pizza calzone was good the rolls seem like too much bread to me. Maybe they be good for dipping i would guess. The Pizza topping stays on. The selection was very good and if you don't see what you want they will make it. The soda machine had a good selection and they had a non soda tea/punch machine. Value... not bad place to eat the price is under $10 and definitely worth it. Would be nice to know if the soda could be optional for those that don't drink soda and want just water. Conclusion... Love the attention the staff paid to me and their great work on keeping the pizza bar loaded. Nice big room makes you feel like your not in some hole in the wall. Worst experience ever with a pizza place. It's not that hard. Take the order and deliver it. That's not what happened. I ordered our dinner at 4pm for a future deliver date of 6pm. So approx 6:20pm, I decided to finally call and see what was taking so long. I was told it's busy and my order hasn't even left for delivery. At 6:30, I decided to feed my kids frozen pizza and cancel my order. I asked to speak to a supervisor and asked what went wrong. He told me that they got the order late at 5:17pm. Really?!? Late?!? "That still gives you more than an hour to make and deliver my pizza!!!", I exclaimed. There was a lot of the "blame game" being placed on the third party that runs their ordering. There was no empathy. No appeasement. No customer service. So instead of double daves pizza, save yourself some grief. Make it a Totino's pizza night!!! read more

We drove 45 minutes one way to get here and it was well worth it! The pizza was super fresh and really hit the spot. Curtis the manager was very hospitable, working hard to make sure everything was perfect, offering to make us any pizza we wanted on the buffet. They had a large selection of pretty much any pizza you could think of including pepperoni rolls and two types of dessert pizza. The place was clean and had a cheery atmosphere. I've been going to Double Dave's for almost 20 years when I would visit friends at aTm. If this is what that would have been I would never have gone back. You go for the pizza rolls, they push the buffet on you which they say has pizza rolls on it. You request pizza rolls. You request them again. Then you eat the mediocre pizza and leave. Never again. We purchased certificates from Restaurant.com for this Double Dave's. When we tried to use them, the employees were extremely rude. We were attempting to use the certificate with the buffet and were told we could not. The certificate does not state this as a restriction. When we spoke to the store manager, he said that he didn't know what the certificate said, but he would not allow the use of it with the buffet. It was a terrible experience and we will not be returning to any Double Dave's restaurant as a result. read more

I love this place. Even as a chain pizza restaurant, it feels like a hometown spot. I found out the owners live in Keller! They will make anything you want. Try the thin crust Buffalo Chicken pizza. You will be hooked! This is a great place to splurge! Highly recommend! I will be back. read more

This location always has a great buffet. We used to come here quite a bit but it seems like they quit offering coupons for savings on the buffet. For a while now I have been craving some pizza rolls but sadly all the other locations around me closed down! :( So today we drove all the way from Arlington to get some pizza rolls. When we arrived, there was no one there, completely dead. We ordered the buffet but all the pizzas were old and cold, before I could even ask, the manager, Allison came to us and assured that the whole buffet would be refreshed, as she promised it was, all for us. It made our family feel so special! While eating, I noticed a few things. The lobby for being that big was surprisingly clean and there was a young man sweeping rugs and wiping everything down. Made the place look shiny and new. The music there was really awesome reminded me of when ever I was a teenager and it wasn't too loud either perfect volume. The food seems decent, but the experience ordering online was terrible. We picked up at the store, where they had daily specials listed on their menu. It's too bad those aren't shown online anywhere - we might have purchased one. The website still lists the January pizza of the month, but I figured that was just an issue with updating and ordered it anyways, specifying in the notes that I wanted the current pizza of the month (which sounded really good). A few minutes after placing the order, we got a call stating that they didn't actually have the ingredients for the pizza of the month and asking if we wanted anything else instead. I asked if they would just substitute it with the only other pizza I could remember the name of (the Dave's Fave, I think). My husband paid, so I didn't notice until I looked at the receipt later that we had been changed more for the substitution. It's 2016 - there's no excuse for a large company like this to have such an awful online experience. Either keep your website updated with complete and accurate information, or have a minimal site letting your customers know they need to call or come in personally for accurate info. Yum! Good pizza and nice waiters!! Pizza is all around good and dissents were great! The coke machine was having trouble, but they were kind enough to give everyone free drinks. I have eaten here a dozen times (at least) and I have never had a bad experience. Pizza is always hot fresh and they don't skimp on the toppings. They always ask if I want a special pizza (it's a buffet) and I always get it in less than 10 mins. I have tried Bosses three times and they have only two or three different pizzas. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I can't help it. I'm still frustrated after having dinner here tonight. It's been a long time since my family and I've come here and now I know why. How in the world can you justify charging $10.99 plus $2.59 for a drink for a disgusting buffet? We got there about 6:15 so you would think the Pizza would hot and fresh. I ordered a custom pizza, nothing special just pepperoni and jalapeño and I cookie to even finish one slice because it tasted funky. The desserts were cold, the tables were sticky. (At least the table we sat at.) All while I had to process the fact that it cost be $40 for my wife, 10 year old and myself. Not sure how this place is still open. I left I unsatisfied, my wallet was $40 lighter and I can't even say I enjoyed the food. Terrible!! read more

Pizza is very good! We caught the store during a crazy rush however the customer service was great! The GM Curtis offered drinks on the house due to the wait for pizza and personally made the pizzas we liked even though they were non stop busy. Seems like they needed more staff for a Saturday night but the GM made the trip worth it, he came to tables and made sure everyone was happy throughout the dinner! Will come here again read more
