This pizza place normally does an outstanding job, especially if you pick up your pizza. This is about delivery (and NOT about the driver or the time it took to arrive, both were great)... This is about the the pizza. My son didn't eat any yet and we are hoping the pizza tastes okay. This is more about the crazy amount of oil from the pizza itself. I have included a photo as it is more than a bit extreme. When I opened the box I saw that the interior was very oily. I checked underneath the box (wondering if it had made it all the way through) and we had what could only be described as a "puddle" of oil. We love pizza and have had our share of pizza (oily and otherwise), but this was just too much. Like I said before, we are fans of this pizza place, but.... I say still go, still buy, still enjoy, just be sure to put something underneath that box as that would have ruined a seat and easily stained a floor mat or carpet. read more

Not my favorite meal. I rank Pizza Hut at 3-3.5 stars, Mr Jim's ranks below at 2.5-3 stars. The nacho stix are interesting, the thin crust is nice and crisp but without the jalapeño ranch dressing there is near zero flavor. Pepperoni deluxe does have extra pepperoni, it's similar in the texture to Costco pizza but ranks below Costco in taste. The wing sauce was good, you can feel the nice heat but the wing itself is soft, like a squish mellow. They must run these through the pizza oven too as the chicken wing skin is loose- I much prefer taught skin or crispy coating. Additionally, although the receipt accurately states only half the wings with sauce they put it all over resulting in my kiddo not having the dinner we promised/ paid for. Mistakes happen but for not a cook or person bagging the food to catch the error shows lack of established quality assurance process. I won't be back but glad to finally check this spot off my Keller foods list. read more

I typically don't like chicken on a pizza but the nacho stix with chicken were the best "cheese stick" I've ever had and the dipping sauce that comes with them is a perfect combo!! DELICIOUS. If you're looking for pizza that's similiar to pizzahut but way more tastey, this place is for you. Ordered a small half cheese half pepporini/pepper pizza with a side of cheese sticks and buffalo wings. We ordered pick up, so I do not have any review about the inside ambience but they did have our pizza ready upon arrival. There is also a drive-thru for convienance which is typically unheard of from pizza places. Let me just say you MUST try the cheesesticks, they are delicious, they had some kind of seasoning that made them taste slightly different (in a good way) than the cheese pizza. The cheese pizza is also very tastey, its similiar to pizza hut but way better in that the sauce is not acidic at all like pizza hut tends to be. My only dissapointment here were the buffap wings and thats only because they tasted way too spicey for me. My boyfriend who likes spicey things also said they were super spicey so maybe somebody didn't make the sauce correctly. DEFINATLEY coming back here agin. read more

My office orders pizza from here regularly. I'm not huge on chain pizza, but I actually enjoy this style. Their phrase is "it's in the crust." Which is accurate. Their crust is pretty good! We've tried assorted other pizza places, but we keep coming back to Mr. Jims. I think it's the sauce that we all love the most, but the toppings are always flavorful and we really like the thin crust. It's not much of a place to eat in, and I rarely see anyone eating-in, although they have about a dozen tables. It's nearly exclusively counter pick-up and drive-thru or delivery, and you can tell as part of the dining area is often used as extra storage. So, while not the dine-in experience, it's still our favorite carry-out. Been coming to this location since I was a kid. Extremely nostalgic and comfortable. However, they changed out all of the cushy and cozy booths for hard-as-a-rock wood benches and long tables. Mr. Jim's Pizza is a chain restaurant predominately in the DFW area. It was my first time having Mr. Jim's pizza and I must say it was pretty good for a chain restaurant. I had the vegetarian pizza and the chicken jalapeno chicken stix. The stix had a hot kick to them and thin crust which I like. The vegetarian pizza was good with nice crisp crust. Excellent customer service! We came in for a late dinner at about 10:30. They close at 11 pm. First off, pizza is always good. Every time we get pizza somewhere else a couple times and we switch back to Jim's, we wonder why we ever changed.
