Wait time definitely varies even when they tell you "5 minutes". We have great delivery experience with jets but the last couple of times we picked up our order the wait was quite long because they had to remake at least one pizza due to an error. Remaking isn't really the issue but we were told 5 minutes when it really took around 20... That aside the pizza is always well made and typically good service. They don't have any seating as this is definitely a grab and go but still worth it. read more

We have used this Jets for a while, and sometimes they get the order wrong which we totally get. Unfortunately this time they refused to correct the mistake. We ordered a 4 corner small pizza, which was wrung up as a small. When we asked them to change the order, they refused. Even with the coupon code we used stating that it can be used on a four corner pizza. We are usually very understanding and they are accommodating most times, but refusing to fix their mistake this time was the last straw for us. Its about 50/50 we have to wait for them to fix a wrong order for us, but refusing to remake the pizza is not acceptable no matter how busy. We will not be returning. read more

For this New England bred Connecticut Yankee, Jet's brought back my love for Sicilian style pizza. To explain, here's a little American pizza history lesson. In New York, Sicilian style pizza is baked in a rectangular pan with a thick, crispy-surfaced, soft-inside crust and generous toppings. Buddy's in Detroit made "Detroit-Style Deep Dish" pizza famous. But if you read their history, the founders, originally form New York, say they were using their mother's recipe for Sicilian. Enter Jet's Detroit Style deep Dish (aka deliciously authentic Sicilian) pizza. After revisiting my love for Sicilian at Golden Boy in San Francisco and introducing my gfto it, I went on a hunt for Sicilian in Fort Worth We ordered a Jets and fell in love instantly with their pie. Our go-to is half meat lovers, half veggie. The flavor is the thing. Good Sicilian pays attention to the texture and flavor of the trust. And the toppings go all the way to the edge of the pie. The overall effect is a thick, satisfying pizza experience with robust flavor and no "pizza bones". The edge in fact has it's own flavor and is part of the enjoyment of the pizza, especially when the cheese flows over a little and hardens against the surface of the pan. A side of ranch is recommended for dipping if you like that sort of thing. Service is friendly and quick. Our pie is typically ready in 20 minutes or so. We usually pickup, but also had it delivered once. Delivery arrived as promised, hot, and fresh. Other "square pizza" can be found in the area. But, before Jet's, none that I found was true Sicilian. I spent the weekend in Fort Worth and had several friends recommend Jets as an easy yet tasty dinner. I'm glad I listened. Jets is probably now my official fave pizza chain. You can tell the difference in the freshness of ingredients with Jets compared to the other chains. I got the Detroit style pizza with Italian sausage, the triple cheese bread, and the ranch. All of it was very tasty. The people working at this location were very friendly and helpful. They were also good about letting you know if the order was taking a little longer due to lots of orders coming in at once (it was the 4th of July weekend so not at all surprising). I'm not sure this is a real comparison but I ordered the Aloha BBQ Chicken and wow! It tasted so good. Compared to the equivalent at Papa John's, this beat it hands down. If this place was closer to the house it would be my go to pizza place (for take out, there is no seating). Note: I prefer to pick up my own pie, as delivery tends to take too long, and the pizza is never as hot... My preferred method is to call on my way home, and then just pick it up, so having the pizzeria on my path is preferred. I'm a big fan of thin, cracker crisp, pizza crust. Jet's has one of the better thin crust pizzas. The only thin-crust pizzas I like more than Jet's are from the pizzerias with wood-burning ovens and VPN standards (nothing, IMHO, beats a Neapolitan pizza, and I'm from Chicago, which seems to some I should have a deep dish bias). FYI, my favorite pizza is Pizza Margherita. I don't go in for a lot of toppings. In my book, less is more. Fresh tomato, basil maybe, fresh mozzarella. A good pizza does not need much more. So the closer a pizzeria can get to this, the better (in my book). So Jet's is a good pizza. If it was closer to the (new) house they would be getting more of my business. Factor in that I would need to cross the railroad tracks, if a train comes then either I'm late for the pickup or the whole pie does not make it home (you don't want to see my wife's stink-eye). Since there are a few places closer, of which two I'm pretty found of, I'm OK in the take-out pizza department. PS. The other menu items don't really appeal to me. I tried the Cinnamon Stix once (as part of a special). They were OK. Sticky and sweet and a good chaser to the pizza. read more

I love how you can buy a big squeeze bottle of homemade ranch that tastes like Wingstop ranch for only a couple bucks! We normally enjoy pizza from Jet's but unfortunately had poor service tonight. I placed my order and ended up waiting about an hour and a half so I called to check the status and was told the driver delivered and supposedly knocked three time's. Service - 3 Star Food - 3 Star Deli Boat - 4 Star NEW CHAIN RESTAURANT. Deli Boats, Deli Subs, Jets Boats, Pizza. Wings. So what the heck is a Deli Boat? What's are Jet's Boats? What is a Pizza? Hold it, I know what that last thing is. The first one is basically pizza crusts folded over deli meats and cheeses, and the second, (Keeping up?) is like a pizza crusts stuffed with meat and cheeses and other good stuff. You know, like calzones and strombolis. To make things even more confusing there are 8 separate kinds of crust to choose from. Makes this place like a Subway. The crust are Butter, Romano, Garlic, Parmesan, Poppy Seed, and some others. After checking their website I see there are over 170 in this chain restaurants, so I guess they're doing something right. I tried the Italian Deli Boat which is "Freshly Baked Pizza Dough Stuffed with Ham, Salami, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce and Tomatoes." Comes with a side cup of Italian Dressing for dipping into or pouring onto, whichever you prefer. I thought it was great! It's cut in two and each half is enough for one. About 600 calories per half, and the dressing adds about 111 calories, so its not too terrible. Not a health food, but I prefer it to a sub sandwich. I'm a huge fan of jets pizza! It's not fancy, the pizza is not round and all the locations seem to be small "to go" locations but IMO it beats the other chains hands down. I enjoy the pepperoni and sausage with turbo crust so much that our family orders it every time. Maybe one day I'll try a different combo but for now the oily/buttery turbo bread with meat pizza on top is fantastic warm or cold. As others have mentioned, it may not be the best you'll ever have but it won't disappoint. Try it with your favorite soda and feel like a kid again! read more
