The two guys that they had making pizza were the worst and took so long at least 15 minutes per pizza. I had asked for vegan cheese on one pizza and he repeated it but when he went from the cheese he loaded it with mozzarella so we had to wait for that pizza to be remade and then they failed to put three major ingredients on the pizza and didn't tell us till after the pizza was already done. This store also does not offer a full array of the flavored Iced Teas that they did at one time and the drink area actually looks really trashy like something you would see in a rundown gas station. There were no customers in the store except for one every now and then no wonder the place has gone totally unprofessional and worse than a 7-Eleven. I have never seen more slower speaking people in my entire life they acting like needed very special education. They do not offer cups for water and charge full price for kids drink. Worst experience ever will never go back to this store. Pathetic. read more

Went to my favorite pizza place... Pie five at alliance. Ordered three pizzas, two were plain cheese. On mine, I ordered pepperoni for which they put six pieces... Counted them out, spicy sausage, olives for which they counted out six pieces and little red tomatoes for which they counted out five pieces. My pizza looked empty so I asked for more olives and she said it would be $.50 each!!!!! I told her my pizza never looks like that and it always has plenty of ingredients on it. This one looked empty!!! She didn't care. She said it would be $.50 each item more even though I had already chosen that item on my pizza I also had two free pizza cards from the previous management for which they refused to honor because it was from the previous management. I will never ever ever go to this place again! Don't go to this one. It's under new management, which is a very, very poor management.!!! read more

For delivery pizza this is the best we've tried. We ordered one pizza without sauce, extra cheese and extra mushrooms. In spite of the lack of sauce is was juicy and tasty. We also ordered one of their speciality pizzas and it was both fresh and cooked just enough for the dough to have some crunch, without any burning. But the best thing was by far their garlic cheese bread. You know how cheese bread can be either too raw, or cooked until it's almost a cheese chip? Not this, it's was absolutely delicious with just the right touch of garlic. If you're staying home for a movie night or any other time I recommend this place. Can't quite put my finger on it... 1st time to this location and am a HUGE fan of the one on 7th st, Fort Worth. Our pizzas were good...and the usuals. I ordered thin crispy with all my favorite toppings. The crust was "different". Cracker flaky like.... My sis, her usual pineapple mess lol. When hers came out of the oven it looked weird...she swore that wasn't hers. She always gets the "regular/original" and believes it was the thin crust... These location is garbage. First off Donna the "shift manager" is absolutely unprofessional and needs to be prop trained or needs her title taken away. Instead she said thank you and hung up. So they stole my money charging me for 2 orders that I did not order. Beau infected as the first manager I talked to in the morning to let them know they charged me twice told me to come win when they opened. I went in and he took my receipt and showed him my snapshot of where they charged me twice for $33 and $11. He took my name and phone number and said he would contact me today and never did. So Calle back and the girl that answered said yes i remember you from yesterday we charged you twice for orders that weren't yours. And told Donna and Donna didn't care. The only person worth anything there is the lady that answered the phone and admitted they did wrong. I wish I had gotten her name. Not one time did anyone apologize or try to even remotely make things better. They told me their manager is out for 3 days. Both Donna and Beau said they can't issue refunds without a manager. Which they both said they were managers. I have been here a lot and I never had any issues. But the last 2 times I have encountered Donna and she is horrible. I was in town visiting my family and we decided to come here for dinner. They have a great looking menu but I'm picky when it comes to pizza. Some would say I'm a simple man despite being vegetarian. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. I went with the Build Your Own pizza. I went with Traditonal Italian Crust, Korean BBQ sauce, Vegan Cheese (don't knock it til you try it), Mincer Garlic, Spinach, Onions, and Impossible Meatballs. Great location. This used to be a great location. It has really gone downhill. Every time we place an online order we get to the restaurant and have to wait 15-20 minutes past our scheduled pickup time. Customers coming in get their pizzas before ours at even made even though we are standing right there. The toppings are meager. 3 pieces of chicken on a pizza. But the price is still the same. Three workers, one properly wearing their mask, a girl with the mask down off her nose, and the manager, I assume, working as seen in the photo. Folks: restaurants are REQUIRING restaurant workers in Tarrant county to wear masks, and wear them properly. They don't and it makes me wonder what other health codes they are ignoring. So, did I get all "Karen" on him and call him out? What's the point--I'd leave and he'd just resume wearing it incorrectly. It's been a while since I have been to this location. They have been some menu changes. No more large pizzas. What? Now they offer personal sizes pizzas only. They have a graduated prices on the toppings offered. I think was .50 cent on toppings over 5, in my case it has always been over 5 toppings. Well,I think is was a corporate decision. It will be more expensive if you have a family with kids, because of the no large pizza offerings. They show that have a delivery service for additional fee and you will have to tip on top of that. Now to the food. I ordered 2 Pizzas Saturday and 2 Pizzas Sunday from pizza app. Their app is still difficult, but after several tries I got it to work, the saved (My favorites) for re-orders; I could not find it. The thin crust is good and toppings seem to be fresh and good. They met the time preparation as order each time. No waiting to pick up your pizza. I pick up and take home and the pizza was hot and yummy. I like the food, but for three people of even two people you have to order two of three of these personal pizzas. I know why the corporate did this. They still don't offer beer or wine for dine it. So it's always going to be take out and pick up. In my case, I'm not that lazy to go in and pick up my order. I'm not found of the change, but not my call. As far as the food. I give it 5 stars and I still recommend it. read more

First off, the pies themselves are priced at $6. They are made in personal sizes, meaning that they can fit on your plate and are sliced in 6 pieces. There are a variety of choices to choose from, and the pizza itself usually bakes between 8-10 minutes. Drink choices are standard carbonated sodas and such, yet I especially loved the fact that there was a Vitamin Water choice among the sodas (you don't see that very often). Altogether, you can get two Pie Five pizzas with two drinks for just under $20. Not a bad deal for a well-baked pizza pie that won't drip with too much grease nor taste underwhelming. We liked Pie Five when we stopped at the location in Southlake and so are really excited to have a location so close! Between us, we've tried about everything on the menu and haven't disliked any. The kids usually can't decide and get their pizzas half one type, half another. I definitely prefer the thin Artisan Crust over the thick, and you might as well "bundle" your meal and add a small salad and a drink, as, at $9.99, it's only about a quarter more than a Pizza and drink alone. I had a very good experience at Pie Five. The pizza was the perfect size for a single serving. The staff was also very nice and patient with me as this was my first time to try Pie Five. If I had any recommendations to the managers add more stickers / information onto the glass window to kinda explain the entire process / what's allowed. I was kinda confused on what was allowed / what wasn't (even thought basically everything is allowed). Overall, the pizza was good, not great. The ability to customize your pizza just the way you like it is perfect. The reason why I took away 1 star was because the crust was just OK. I got the deep dish crust and like I said, it was good, not great. I'll try the thin crust next time to see if I get a better result. Definitely check this place out! read more

Stopped here on a whim for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. All the pizzas are one price and you can customize everything about your experience. I tried the pan crust and my wife got the traditional. From there you choose your sauce, your mix of cheeses and finally your toppings. An employee (turns out it was the manager, david) was standing in line. He was having friendly conversation with everyone around him just being nice. 20 feet away a disabled woman sat with a cane. She could walk but not easy. Turns out david volunteered to stand in line to hold her place, got her food, handled her payment, and escorted her out the door. He didn't want to cut so he waited like everybody else. I don't think my description does it justice. This act of kindness was very touching. The decision to try P5 happened on a whim. We realized it was Pi (3.14) Day. Then we remembered that we had quiche for breakfast without realizing it, and we needed to keep the Pi celebration going for lunch. Because, obviously... So we looked across the parking lot and there it was... Pie. In pizza form. I can't think of a reason why Pie Five (P5) should get less than a full "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" Yeah, there's a strong "franchise" quality to the place, but I'm not opposed to franchises if they do something well. And P5 took something that I have very strong feelings about (pizza) and did it really well. From what I can gather, it seems to be unlimited toppings for $6.99. The fact that they keep their menu relatively simple is brilliant. Make a pizza your own, or pick something from the menu, and the price stays the same. How is that not worth celebrating? There's a similar pizza joint in Oklahoma City that could learn a thing or two from P5 (you hear me, Revolve Pizza Kitchen?!). The "Artisan Thin" crust was delicious. The magic dust was delicious. The Five Star was delicious. The Chicken Carbonara (plus jalapenos) was delicious. The Roland (Dragon) sauce isn't as delicious as the Huy Fong (Rooster) sauce, but meh... I can deal. Also delicious is the customer service, but it was incredibly noisy in there; any question they asked, I nodded yes despite not knowing what they were asking. I really liked the thing where they hold the pizza up to make sure you got it how you wanted it. It's the little things, you know? I usually do build your own because most of the pizzas do have toppings I like but also some I don't like so I prefer to build my own. They have a couple different crust to choose from, there is 1 crust that is like $2 extra. I do the regular deep dish crust with spicy marinara... Spicy marinara is my fav! I wish other pizza joints offer this sauce. They also offer regular marinara, Alfredo, and more. They offer different cheeses, even ricotta... With the ricotta get another cheese because the ricotta won't melt in the oven. You can throw on more meats like pepperoni, bacon, sausage. Tons of vegetables olives, jalapeño, mushroom, spinach, etc. They now offer garlic bread and we ordered some today and they were really basic. It tasted like plain bread, the ones from Olive Garden are better. I wouldn't order garlic bread from pie five again. They have the free style drinking machine which is awesome! read more

I was in the Heritage Trace shopping center with my sister and nephew and we needed some lunch. Of course if you know me a little - you know that pizza is my favorite food. I had found this place close by on my yelp app and my sister informed me it was pretty new and she had been wanting to check it out - so we did. When you walk in there is an assembly line of employees ready to take your order, make your pizza and check you out. On the menu there are specialty pizzas you can choose from or you can build your own. I opted to build my own with pepperoni, bacon and pineapple! Pineapple is my favorite pizza topping! My sister ordered the tuscan chicken pizza and my nephew got a sausage kid's pizza. For all of us it was around $20 - not a bad deal at all. My pizza was cooked perfectly and my sister and nephew loved theirs too! The sauce and crust on my pizza were delicious! This place was convenient, delicious and priced well! I only recommend this location in this area of town, because at the Southlake location I have never had a pleasant experience. I have found them to be rude, condescending and a lack of work ethic. My #1 fav is Mod Pizza and I hope they will franchise down here to DFW. #2 is Rock Pizza, just so natural and delicious and this comes in at #3 for me as a great alternative to the first two. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. Sometimes a little slow when it's busy, they don't have the organization down quite yet but they are really nice and do a great job. We've had the gluten free, the classic, thin crust, salads...the only thing we haven't tried is the desserts. Everything is always good and quick to. I highly recommend the magic dust at the end ;) You really can't beat a pie, salad and drink for $9.99 although we normally just do 2 pies and grab a drink at home.
