Absolutely love this place! It's like the subway sandwiches of pizza places! Highly recommend!

We all tried and all agreed it was awful. Not Italian style that's for sure. The toppings are awful. Tossing it for plan B.

I was in town visiting my family and we decided to come here for dinner. They have a great looking menu but I'm picky when it comes to pizza. Some would say I'm a simple man despite being vegetarian. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. I went with the Build Your Own pizza. I went with Traditonal Italian Crust, Korean BBQ sauce, Vegan Cheese (don't knock it til you try it), Mincer Garlic, Spinach, Onions, and Impossible Meatballs. Great location. It's in a busy area that's growing. A lot of nearby shopping so parking spots are slim but luckily we found one rather quickly on a Thursday evening.

I owe Pie Five an apology.. initially I did not want to eat here. It just didn't look very appealing. I was wrong. So you can pick your crust, sauce and toppings. It's like a chipotle for pizza! I can't vouch for all the sauces but the Alfredo sauce is so good. You can add fresh garlic to the pizza which is so bomb! Toppings are unlimited but they recommend no more than 8. I had extra Alfredo sauce (bc calories don't count on pizza) Bacon, Ham, Chicken mozzarella cheese and Parmesan. The picture says it all.. it was very good! Oh and apparently Monday's are lower price!

Decided to take advantage of a TMobile BOGO for a personal pan. Ended up paying $9 for this pie with skimpy pepperoni. You have to squint to see it! Here I come, Lil Caesar's.

Manager who doesn't know how to wear a mask! Shame!

I went back to show the manager, and his solution was to offer me a gift card. Why would I ever want to eat there again after finding a someones fake nail in my meal? This shows a complete lack of awareness and accountability. Food safety should be the bare minimum, and clearly it's not a priority here. I will NOT be returning, and I hope they take this seriously before someone gets seriously hurt. Do better.

The lady that brought our food out came back a little while later to check in and see if everything was okay, and of course we said yes. But (she was VERY observant) she mentioned a really wasn't eating my dish and she was concerned I might not be satisfied with it and asked if I'd like it remade/changed (she wondered if I found it too spicy, etc.). Wifey and I actually laughed at how utterly sweet she was being, and we had to assure her I was only focusing on the appetizer first. She (very kindly) was like "are you suuuuuure?" It of course cracked my wife 'n I up. Anyway, it was just the most enjoyable service/personality we've had in ages. It was obvious that she truly cared. Anyway, I asked her name on the way out sayin' I'd shout her out on Yelp, she said it's Joslynn and she even handed me some cards for more lettuce wraps in the future! Wifey & spoke later about it and wonder if she is so vigilant because of so many "Karens" out there that are impossible to please, stuff like that, and she was keeping out in front of it. Whatever, she was just adorable. Oh, and we also thought what might have made her believe I didn't like what I was eating is I like to eat all my items first that don't make good leftovers, so there'll be more if I do. AND, wifey 'n I had just experienced something frustrating earlier that day and we were still chatting about it, and I might have had an annoyed, animated appearence to people across the room, so she mighta thought it was about my dish. Anyway, she reset the whole day bein' so nice to us. Oh, and of course, the food WAS great, btw!

Many items are dairy free, refined sugar free and seed oil free - hard to come by! Customer service was great. I was greeted by the owner (woman) who encouraged me to take my time and look around as it was my first time in. Additionally, she did not "watch over me" and allowed me to browse at my own pace which I appreciated. On this particular trip, I picked up the peanut butter protein truffles ($15) and a vanilla cheeseless-cake slice. ($14)The truffles were great! Definitely cured a sweet tooth without any of the nasties! Unfortunately, my cheesecake melted during my commute home and I tried to salvage it but was not very successful; from what I tasted, I wasn't the biggest fan of this item. Prices are a bit steep for the portion of the two items; however, I understand quality ingredients will be a bit more. I appreciate the treats made with our health in mind and happy I got the chance to support!

This place is more like a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only…read morething preventing it from getting 5 stars was the wait time to get our food. Everything else was fantastic. I'm actually very glad we came here instead of the other places we had planned on going for lunch. When we went, it was not crowded and we got seated quickly. This place is fairly big, with plenty of tables and space. They also have a dedicated "beer garden" on one side of the restaurant. For food, i had to get jager schnitzel with spaetzle. My wife ended up getting duck. Before my food came out, they also brought out a salad. I don't know if it was part of the jager schnitzel entree or the duck... But the salad was amazing. Everything was pickled and very intense flavor. Both entrees were great and i also like the fact that they have a kid's menu that serves german food. (I was afraid the kids menu would have simple items like burger and or chicken tenders, but that's not the case here.) the lunch portions were perfectly sized.... granted its not "texas sized" but it did its job and i left satisfied. What i really like about the place is the interior decor. It looks like the owners brought back so many trinkets, souvenirs and photos from their trips to Germany and it makes it feel more authentic. This was actually one of the saving grace from waiting to get our food, i tried to look around to see all the different things on displayed. Service was great. I'll definitely be back!

I give no complaint to the food and the ambience, as I have always eaten well and enjoyed the jaunty, light-hearted ambience that this restaurant has provided for decades. My wife and I decided to take our kids out tonight to try German food. The service tonight was abysmal. We waited for twenty minutes for our waiter. When someone finally arrived, he was rather abrupt and rude. Tables around us who were seated immediately received bread before us. Our pickled vegetable side and a beer was brought out promptly, but this would be the only part of our order we received. We waited for over an hour without being checked in on one time. Once! The waiter appeared from the kitchen a couple of times clearly eating something and then disappeared for almost half an hour. When he finally reappeared I asked for more bread, as the kids were getting antsy. He did not verbally respond to this, but walked off and returned with a basket which he more or less tossed on the table, making an obvious effort to avoid eye contact with me. After an hour and fifteen, someone else came by and asked if we were okay. We responded that we were just waiting for our food. This person, too, disappeared without a response. At an hour and a half--kids hungry and depleted of whatever patience they had--we left. This makes a bitter end to what has otherwise been a joyful patronage to a local legend.

We tried the Star Luca and Star Carlos pizzas based on her recommendation. I liked the Star Luca more, while my brother preferred the Star Carlos. These aren't your typical pizza chain pizzas. They're star-shaped and filled with a lots of ricotta. The flavors were really good, and the crust was more like a flatbread than a thick, doughy pizza, which I personally enjoyed. We ordered the 13-inch pizzas, and you can tell they're made fresh. The naturally fermented dough gave them a great texture and flavor without feeling too heavy. Definitely a different pizza experience than what I'm used to, but in a good way. Looking forward to going back and trying some of their regular pizzas and a few other things on the menu.
