They're listed in the Wisconsin Old Fashioned passport, so we were able to get bogo old fashioned cocktails. We opted for bourbon and were pleased when she offered us any bourbon they stock (as we had expected with the deal, to only be offered rail). They're a barcade so it's not like they have an expansive bourbon list but we were pleased to be able to get Woodford. Our cocktails were beautifully made in the Wisconsin style (except with bourbon not brandy). They were everything a Wisconsin old fashioned ought to be and more. We played some pinball, pacman, and frogger and had a blast. If I were to make one tiny suggestion, it would be to have more strategically placed tables--we were constantly trying to find somewhere to put our drinks while playing. They do have some tables to sit at (as well as the bar itself) and after we were done with video games we enjoyed a couple games of cribbage while finishing up our cocktails. Get to it!

My very strong suggestion to management would be to offer some additional food choices. I think that chicken wings would be an excellent start. Could you imagine having chicken, wings, beer, and all the pinball choices that you could want to play all in one setting? Game on!

Initially, our waitress brought us only a few menus despite the size of our group. She stopped by a few times to take orders but seemed scattered and disorganized. At one point, she said she needed to run some food out but would return to take the rest of our orders. She then disappeared for over 30 minutes. I waited so long that I never even got the chance to place my food or drink order, while others in our party were able to order. My aunt ordered several pizzas and nachos for the group. After waiting an hour, only one pizza and the nachos arrived. After waiting over two hours, my aunt finally asked for a refund for the remaining food items that had never arrived. The party ended up running much later than planned, until around 10 p.m., and people were still left hungry because we never received all of our food. The waitress rarely checked on us, and we repeatedly had to go to the bar ourselves to ask for drinks or place additional orders. Both the waitress and bartender were rude and showed little to no concern about the excessive delays. The bartender even seemed irritated that we kept coming up to ask for drinks, despite the fact that we could not get the service we needed at our table. There was no meaningful apology or genuine effort to make things right. The bartender was also inconsistent and unhelpful when it came to something as basic as water. One of my cousins went up to ask for a glass of water and was told no because they supposedly did not give out water there. However, less than five minutes earlier, the same bartender had given another girl a glass of water. It was frustrating to see such inconsistent treatment, especially when we were already struggling to get basic service throughout the party. Then, at around 10 p.m., the staff became very rude about closing and repeatedly rushed us to leave, rather than politely informing us that it was time to wrap up even though they were the ones who delayed our party when we were supposed to be done by 9PM because of our food being so delayed. Unfortunately, the poor customer service extended beyond the restaurant area. I took my young cousin to play the interactive floor game where the floor lights up beneath your feet. After waiting a long time for someone to assist us, I pressed the button to get the game started. While we waited for someone to come over, I let her dance on the floor. When an attendant finally arrived, they were rude and told us we should have waited at the entrance for someone. There were no signs explaining this process, and even after I apologized, the interaction remained unpleasant. A simple, polite explanation would have been more than sufficient. Overall, this experience was frustrating and took away from what should have been a fun birthday celebration. When families spend money on a party package, food, and game cards, they should be able to expect reasonably timely service, organized staff, and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced excessive wait times, poor communication, missing food, pressure to leave, and consistently rude customer service. I would not recommend hosting a birthday party here based on our experience. We spent a significant portion of the celebration chasing down staff, waiting for food, and trying to get basic service instead of enjoying time with our family. The lack of professionalism and courtesy made an already disappointing experience even worse. For the amount of money spent, the service was completely unacceptable.

They also have a good diverse cocktail menu that has something satisfying for everyone from martinis, tropical drinks, mojitos, beer, and more. Recently, my husband suggested the Atomic Koi to show our friends and family from out of town a good time in the Madison area. Then my family member asked if she would at least get someone to pull the mop out from the back and he would mop it up himself and she refused. She should have politely told my family member "sorry I am unable to leave the bar area but I will find another staff to mop it up when they are able to" but it was her rude don't care entitled attitude which didn't leave a good impression on my family members from out of town. I went back up to the bar and spoke to a different bartender who wasn't busy tending the bar and told him the situation. He did fix the situation and mopped up the sticky floor when he was able to which I appreciated but he looked over it like he didn't really want to be there not really friendly. If Atomic Koi could consistently recruit/ retain more professional, trained, personable, friendly bartenders and actually follow through in making cocktails actually advertised in their cocktail menu , its a great spot to go to for a great drink and a fun place to unwind!

The bowling kiosk had a lot of games on it to change up the bowling experience. The venue has a restaurant and a full bar. The bartender wasn't the nicest. My friend tried to get her attention that the water ran out and she didn't give him the time of day. I ordered a beer during happy hour but didn't get the 1$ off for the happy hour. When our groups time was up, the employees were very fast in turning over the lane for the next group. Overall, mixed experience but would probably come back.
