The tow truck driver said this was a family business and reasonable. It was 7:00 and I had to wait an hour before it opened. The man behind the counter was friendly. After several minutes he came back to me and said the alternator was out. The part was available and he could get the truck repaired and should be done in 3-4 hours. We had a photography tour at Canyon X. He suggested a shuttle company to take us out there and he said the truck should be repaired by the time we got back. After getting my car back, I heard a really loud noise coming from the driver front where my tire was. I looked and saw a purposely cut the fender well cover. One place even admitted they often do that but should get the owners permission. I called the corporate office twice in the past week as they need to fix what they broke with no return call. That guy was amazing. On the morning of Tuesday October 15th we called Adams Tow Company to pick us and our truck up and take us to their shop . They did arrive promptly and towed us to their shop. Over the phone He quoted us $300 for a trip and then upon arrival to the shop we were told the amount would be $420 ($10 a mile and $125 service fee) even thought he knew how far we had to go and he still ended up , up charging us. He's attitude was very unpleasant the entire time. As we arrived to the shop we had to wait awhile for the mechanic to arrive since he was in flagstaff picking up parts and an alternator for us. Now he was good. He got the alternator installed quickly and did an amazing job. But we were definitely not happy with the towing aspect of the company and his up charge. I would highly recommend Adam's Automotive repair shop but not recommend their towing service.
