A tip for them going forward: greet your customers warmly, show them the way to where they can wait for service, focus on the customer in front of you rather than trying to multitask with your other jobs. I worked with Austin on a pre owned 2018 Colorado ZR2 over the course of a week to get our deal finalized. He sent me pics of any body flaws so I knew the condition of any bad spots or scratches. I flew in from out of town and Austin was there at the airport with the truck to let me test drive it on the way back to the dealership. This is a tale of disappointment by proxy. My sister drives a Ford Pony and took it to be serviced at Page Ford right before a road trip she'd been planning for months. A trip to see me, her sister who lives in sunny Seattle. I'm a fabulous girl and a REALLY fabulous sister so you can imagine her anticipation at seeing me and getting to spend time in the emerald city. Page Ford replaced the clutch assembly in my sisters beloved Pony and in doing so, failed to REFILL the transmission with tranny fluid (oil) after reinstalling it. (A small trip to mechanics college - to get to the clutch assembly, the transmission must be pulled and in doing so, the oil/fluid drained). As you can imagine, this was not to lead to good things. The aforementioned sister was happily driving from Page, AZ (home of Lake Powell and Sand Devil basketball - go devils!) to Seattle, WA via the lovely state of Idaho when the dry transmission had all that it could take. Right outside of Burley, Idaho the tranny blew. This made the car stop. And it would not go again. Oh no, it would not go again. My sister promptly contacted Page Ford where she was refused a new transmission and was told that Burley was where she could stay for the duration of her vacation (that rhymed!). They didn't offer to pay for her hotel room though. Oh, but there IS a silver lining. The mechanics in Burley were very nice and did their best to help the poor battered Pony, and my sister now knows TONS of info about the 9,316 person town. She's practically en expert. Feel free to contact her (she's a yelper) with any questions you may have if you or a family member are considering a vacation there! She can tell you about all the hot spots. But please, don't bother taking your motor vehicle to Page Ford. I have a sneaking suspicion things will end badly. Sniff. read more

This will probably be a strange review! My partner and I dislike Fords VERY much. However we found ourselves in the predicament of buying a van to travel in for weeks possibly a few months at a time with our dogs. SO, after comparison shopping we ended up with a 2015 Transit 250. We started off on our 2 week christmas roadtrip from Denver to Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, etc. I have to mention here that my love is so very good with mechanics (prefers toyotas to work on) but aye it needs to be stated that he can fix practically anything! So about 5 days into our trip the van is giving us some issues starting up. He runs his voltage meter and see's that the batteries are being drained, but the cause was unknown, esp after he unplugged the stereo or ANYTHING that could have led to battery drainage. After many hours, days, trial and error, new batteries and about 10 jump starts from strangers.. even 1 on Christmas day, I finally convinced him to take the van into this dealership just to see wtf was going on and ruining our vacation! He was all like.. "I don't want to waste my day sitting around. Ford dealerships suck, they will diagnose it, then let it sit in the parking lot for a day and we won't be able to go anywhere for at least 2 days" lol.. Well he was wrong and I was right.. oh yeah! These folks/mechanics/workerbee's/gentlemen were GREAT! They were kind, caring, connected with us and showed empathy for our situation and had us in and out within 3 hours. There ended up being a loose connection from a previous owner who had taken it into a ford dealership here in Denver that over time just kept getting looser and looser until there wasn't a connection anymore and that was causing the battery to not recharge properly.. so at least everything seems fine for now.. but overall, I would come back to this dealership again and again over any in Denver! We called them the following weekend trying to come In and they refused to help us. Never knew a dealership to turn away business. If you are considering going here just save your time and energy. We were having problems with our truck camper break lights and knew the problem was the truck. They didn't have appointments for several days. We were roadtripping and needed to get home. Levi in parts and services went above and beyond and took a quick look for us. He identified a fuse that needed to be replaced and had us safely on our way free of charge within 5 minutes. This is the last place I'd refer anyone to take their car (ford model or otherwise) for repair work. Last fall I took my Ford Mustang there to have the clutch assembly replaced. It took four days. When I got the car back, I noticed the air (heat, vent, air conditioning) was not going through the main cabin vents. I took the car back and they told me they'd forgot to hook the vacuum hoses back up. Nice. I took the car back two days later complaining of a new noise in the motor - it "whined" when I changed gears (manual transmission) and it had never done that before. They didn't offer to inspect the car or put it up on the rack - they just had a guy come out and listen as I drove up and down the block. Explanation: "sometimes cars make weird noises when lots of parts are replaced, it's probably nothing." A month later as I was driving through Idaho - my transmission scattered. The Ford Dealership in Burley, ID asked what Page Ford had done on my car recently. When I explained the clutch replacement, they responded that they had not made sure the transmission had oil in it when they put everything back together. The transmission had absolutely no oil in it upon inspection in Idaho and there were no signs of leaking or burnt oil on exhaust parts, etc. I requested a transmission replacement from Page Ford. They offered a used transmission to be sent "whenever they could find one". I refused and ordered a new transmission from Detroit. Total cost of new transmission: $2600. Page Ford covered $400.00 of that plus the cost of labor: $900.00. They declined to provide reimbursement for the week of hotel bills I wracked up in Burley as well. I was completely floored. I took my car back complaining of the noise (a dry transmission!) and they blew me off, then threw a fit when I asked them to replace the transmission - THAT THEY FRIED!!!!! Upon returning home and speaking with other folks in Page, I've heard horror story after horror story. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They're total schisters. read more

This is the last place I ever planned on having my car serviced, firstly my car is a vw and secondly I had heard bad things about Lake Powell Ford. However after taking my car to several different shops in page i decided to give them a try. YES! FINALLY a honest service department! I went in for an oil change and a safety inspection, I was concerned about my front struts and to my surprise they actually said my struts were fine and not to worry about them yet. What? Really they didnt sell me something i didnt need? That is a first for any dealer! I am honestly very pleased with the service that i recieved at lake powell ford. The staff has been incredibly polite and helpful, Michael Santana even made sure I had a ride back to my house when i dropped the car off to be serviced. I recommend that anyone who has heard bad things about Lake Powell Ford or even if you had bad expirences in the past to give them another chance! They certainly exceeded my expectaions and I bet they will wow you as well! Great service and HONEST technicians! I am very happy I brought my car to them. How do you rate a place that refused me service? Took my Prius in with a triangle of death on the dash board in for a failed secondary hybrid water pump failure which I figured out by pulling the code from another business around the corner. The front desk mechanics said they would be willing to check out the vehicle but they had to check with their management. Management came back with a no. No service on hybrid Toyota. Huh? You guys do car repairs ? Took the car into town at a place named similar to that famous immigration statue in New York City, and unlike this place "we got this". read more

If I could rate this place lower, I would. If you are in the area for vacation do not, under any circumstance, bring your vehicle to be serviced or fixed here. Day 1 of our vacation, my truck broke down. I had it towed here after talking to Levi about the error message my truck displayed, how it was running, and after verifying that they service all makes. The morning of day 2, he called me back to tell me that the 5th cylinder had dropped a valve, damaged the piston, and no longer had compression. He then stated that I'd need a whole new crate motor, and the cost of this with Labor was going to be just over $10,000. I also spoke with the tech, because I had a hard time processing the information I was presented, as my truck didn't display any of the normal "blown motor" signs (no smoke, still cranked over and tried to start). He told a few DTCs and relayed the same information that Levi told me. I then asked if they had visually inspected the motor to verify the fault, to which that answer was basically, NO. We decided to pay the $110 diagnostic fee and came up with a plan to get our travel trailer and my truck home. After spending $311 on a U-haul truck to pull the trailer home, another $111 (and half a day to find one) to rent a trailer heavy and long enough to haul my truck home, and close to $400 in gas, we got everything back to my grandparents house. We then took my truck to a mechanic that my grandparents trust with all 4 of their vehicles so he and I could figure out a game plan. After a few hours of looking, listening, pulling DTCs (only one of them matched what the tech gave me) and pulling the valve covers off, we finally discovered the problem. It was a valve spring that broke on the #8 cylinder, and a lot easier and cheaper fix than a new motor. After spending another $7 on a new spring, and spending another hour and a half installing it and bolting everything back together, my truck is back to normal. Bottom line is........the service staff of this dealer seems to prey on vacationers. I would have gladly paid whatever had they properly diagnosed my truck, but instead they backed me into a corner, and tried to get every dime they could out of me. After my experience, it makes me wonder how many others they have done this to. I will never step foot in here ever again, and I hope and pray that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I will be contacting the OWNER of the dealership to tell him what happened, and to get at minimum, my diagnostic fee back. read more

He got us right in, arranged a loner ford( which was pretty awesome) so that we could go about our day of tours in Antelope canyon . Their service department was quite efficient and got us back on the road very quickly! Great emergency service from an honest and ethical service advisor and staff! Was having intermittent electrical problems in my BMW on a long road trip. Took it into Lake Powell Ford as there is no BMW dealer for miles. Initial diagnosis was to replace battery. I agreed but when they unscrewed battery cover in trunk they found battery terminal had worked loose (I had been offroading on washboard surfaces). Cost was minor and they could easily have sold me an un-needed new battery. Thanks Dillon and crew! read more

OMG. Never again. Lets just say it was the worst vacation ever. We got stock 12 days in Page because of them. Did mechanics think? It took them 5 days to figure out the problem... then, 2 days to figure out another one and 4 to get the part they could have got in 24h. Driving through page Az as we always do with no plans to give it more than a restroom break. We travel 15 miles west of page and the ford explorer gets hot. Have it towed to to Lake Powell Ford per recommendation of the tow truck driver. We arrived about 2:30PM Thursday. They were informed that we are passing through and needed to be in Provo Utah tonight. They told us, "we will get it in right away and find the problem". We told them we would rent a car and be back Monday morning service department told us we will have it done by Monday and would call with estimate. The next day Friday about 11:30AM they called with estimate, $571..00 for thermostat housing and, would be ready at 11:00 AM on Monday. "Whoa" that sound high. They said 3 hours to change it and 1 hour to find problem at $90.00 per hour. What do we do we are in Provo Utah. Go ahead and fix it no choice for us. We travel back to page with rental car on Sunday and get a room. The next day Monday we go to service and they tell us waiting for parts to arrive between 10:00AM and 2:00PM. It is clear they didn't look at the explorer until Friday morning and ordered parts then. We had to turn in the rental car so we waited in waiting room. Then at 1:45 PM the parts arrive and we have to wait for mechanic to come back from lunch. He returned at 2:00PM and started work. I watched from a distance. He returned from test drive at 3:05 PM all done! It should be note that the service department referred to the job as "Just a thermostat housing!" I went to pay and protested about the $571.00 charges. The service guy got the calculator out and start calculating. He said I will give you 10% discount. Oh that sounds good! He then finishes and says "$570.00, and look here I am lower than the estimate. It sure was by a whole whopping $1.00. Well with no choice I pay the man and we leave Page AZ at 3:30PM I checked with my Thatcher Az Ford dealer about said charges. Ford dealer here say would do the same job for $225.00 labor and a max of 200.00 for parts but could be less depending upon condition of other related parts for a total of $425.00. With the labor set at 2.5 hours. Be advised Lake Powell Ford is a ripoff! I would advise you to avoid them. read more
