We went on a Friday for happy hour which ran until 7pm. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day and they have ample outdoor seating. Only slightly disappointed they didn't have any cocktails on the happy hour menu. Ended up trying a Pina Colada and The CP's which tasted like peach and raspberry which was sweeter than I thought it would be, probably won't be ordering again. The highlight for me was the mussel bowl. It was so delicious and the garlic bread that it came with perfectly soaked up the juices. The shrimp were pretty good as well and give a decent amount for happy hour. The service was pretty good. It started getting busier as to be expected and took a little bit longer to get our checks. I would come back though especially for the mussels.

She efficiently handled taking care of all 20 of us at 2 separate tables with a great attitude. One of our party members had an issue with her salad and Hannah was kind enough to get us a replacement to go. Our drinks were always filled, we got plenty of plates and boxes, and she was constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything! One of the most attentive waitresses I've had. The food was great too, I had a gluten free All The Way pizza and it was LOADED, almost too many toppings! The crust was slightly softer than I prefer but that just comes with all the wet toppings. The rest of our party was also very pleased with their food & experience in general! Thank you Shorebreak for a spectacular dinner!

Our server was Lauryn, and she was great. She was nice and attentive but not worrisome. We had the Wisconsin Cheese Curds along with the house made Sangria. As an entree, I had the whiskey burger with truffle fries. I really liked the cheese curds; they're a lot flavorful than traditional mozzarella sticks. The house made sangria was really good too! We had to stop ourselves from just sucking it down. The burger is where I had the issue. It was a little on the dry side.... Too well done despite asking for medium. It also wasn't seasoned well. The only flavor rally came from the bbq sauce and onion straws. The truffle fries were good though. The menu said they won't best burger of Virginia Beach, and that was made me get a burger. Not the best burger I've ever had. Next time, I will try the pizza and probably go to the Shore drive location since that is closer to my house. Again, the vibe, service, and scenery was worth the drive.. the food not so much.

The bar is sexy! It's not a full U shape, but it's a good size. Plenty of seating and airy! If you choose to dine from the menu you can or you can order the buffet (next door) from Captain George's. I am not a fan of buffet's, so when I ventured out with my husbae and friends, I opted to order from the menu. I ordered a simple salad and the scallops for my meal with two sides. My meal was so good! The scallops were not free of grit, but it was limited. I would order the meal again. But my favorite part of the restaurant, is the atmosphere. I noticed sound boxes at the booths. We sat at tables in the center and I do not believe sound boxes are portable for those tables. The vibe was still cool! Usually checking out sports or anything on TV, no sound is really needed. If sound is needed, you would go to a quieter place, right?! Nevertheless, the waitstaff and bartender were on point throughout the night. This was a Wednesday night and it was still a pretty good crowd out. Surprisingly, but it was a good time and the waitstaff did not miss a beat! Check them out if you are in the area. Especially if you like an upscale bar atmosphere type vibe... this is your spot. Happy Hour specials on drinks and food are featured daily. I cannot wait to visit again :) Be safe ~ have fun ~ enjoy life :)
