i can't believe the awesome service and wonderful outgoingness of this one employee at the double eagle pawn shop on francis in spokane. i believe her name was deborah and her courteous and out going willingness to help me find exactly what i was looking for is a very rear thing these days! i'll be honest, i was in their about a year after they opened and i couldn't get anybody to wait on me. they where all standing their with their hands in there pockets doing absolutely nothing, i had to ask for help and when i did it seemed to me like i was being a pain! i asked where they kept their pressure washers this one guy had to ask another guy and this other guy said over their i think! what the hell was that all about i thought, this lazy sob don't know where anything is! i got so discussed i said forget it and i left. i was never going back their again but after some time i thought "maybe they have new employees so i went back and that's when i met deborah! she knew right where everything was she didn't have to ask anyone, she took me right to what i was looking for, her smile and willingness to take the time to help me and answer all my question is totally unheard of today! you want the best service and genuine help with no rolling of the eyes ir that hurry up and get out feeling you have to go to this pawn shop and ask for deborah you will see exactly what i mean! i came out with twice the stuff and i noticed i had a big grin on my face! i go nowhere else and have only deborah wait on me! read more

I had been eyeing a Springfield Armory Champion 1911 that they had for sale. It was there for several months before I finally decided to purchase it. I had a great, hassle free transaction with these folks. I traded my Springfield Armory A-1 1911 for the Champion which has a shorter barrel. I've walked through the store checking on their prices and they are no different than any other business. They are high on some items and low on others. It really depends on what you're looking for. They are willing to haggle some and the trade went smooth. Since I have a Conceal Carry Permit I was able to walk out of the store with my new firearm, load a mag into and I was on my way. If you are going to purchase a firearm then I highly recommend you give this business a look before you do. read more

I just moved here from Seattle. We are used to having a plethora of pawn options. However, in Spokane there are not as many. 8x out of 10, I have purchased from Double eagle after shopping the competitors. They are always willing to work with my concerns. A couple times I found the product I was looking for, but did not feel the price was adequate for the age or condition of the item. Both times they were willing and able to make "reasonable" adjustment to meet me in a fair place. Every time I have been to this store, the employees have been helpful and good spirited. I used to like to shop here. I ran into some nasty clerk, brunette and chubby, who wanted to act like a complete turd. I asked if they would match the price of these Garrett Ace 150 metal detectors to the $150 they are everywhere else, amazon, ebay, home depot. She says "These are NEW". Duh, does Home Depot sell used items? They are all new. she continued to be nasty, rude comments about the price, so I left my entire purchase. I buy quite a few things at all the local pawn shops, but this one has lost my business forever, and I only live 2 blocks from there. What a shitty experience. read more

A very large & well put together shop. The product choices were robust, the shop was clean and well organized for the smorgasbord that is a pawn shop. But Double Eagle is definitely a cut above the rest, what was even more impressive was the customer service experience was as good as I have experienced in a long time. The staff was attentive & friendly, not pushy, but helpful and consistent on following up with me and making sure I found what I was looking for, I appreciated it very much especially in the current odd times for all of us & retail right now. I went to double eagle to buy a ps4. when I got there they were more than helpful, they were courteous, knowledgeable and most of all they stand by their goods. One of the nicest pawn shops around. New building, clean & a public restroom. Huge new & used gun selection... tons of ammo too. They had bricks of basic 22lr for $28 and even Eley target for $75. a brick. Lots of electronic stuff, TV's & DVD's... I've done alot of business with them over the past 14 years.. at all three of their stores. I've gotten lots of good deals on current computers too. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable. read more

The GM is basically a racist that disguises it with "Patriotism" mostly anything Chinese or Black american. Not only is he rude to customers he shows no respect to his staff with crass comments in a petty attempt to show dominance as upper management. He shows traights that are on par with a sociopath.
