Morally this place is a disgrace! The people running this shop are selfish and a rude to their neighbors. We came into town for a tournament located next door. This antagonistic pawn shop decided to tow a handful of cars parked in their side lot even though there was plenty of parking in the front of their building! 2 of the vehicles were handicap. Sadly I went into this pawnshop just prior to shop around. They had an opportunity to make money out of all the people coming into town and they instead soured everyone's opinion due to their tactlessness and aggression. Not to mention the handful of items I was interest in were over priced. If this is how they treat their neighbors I would never do business with a company such as them. Was having a super hard time finding a particular Marlin lever action. Randomly called one Double Eagle. He said he didn't have one, but to call the Francis store because they have to most stock. I called. Sure enough. New. Priced under MSRP! Literally could only find one in stock after scouring the internet for a few hours a day for couple weeks. Went down. Blown away. New and used, definitely the best selection in Spokane. Tons of accessories. Sharpshooters always has a line out the door. Nice people, but their stock is just ravaged. They're having to space guns super far apart to make it look full. SIG case is empty. Anyway, I was in/out with the gun (no 10 day waiting period on non-semi auto long guns) in 30-45, only because there was another purchase in front of me. Started with Mike, spent time browsing some guns and gear with Cassie, and ended the transaction with Kirk. Mike was helping me with some ideas for making my Glock easier to handle (triggers, etc). Cassie helped with holsters, was looking stuff up on the internet, informed me that they have a guy that makes custom kydex holsters. Then Kirk showed me his own holster that was made there. We talked shop for a few. Honestly, they made me wanna go back and buy more guns. Super cool outfit. Couldn't ask for better gun purchasing experience in these strange times. Have been a good customer for some years now, both making purchases and have pawned and returned for items a few times in the past between paychecks. Went in to get a loan until payday on a brand new, in the box multitool and the guy at the desk implied that it was stolen because I didn't have a receipt, going on to say that had it been used they would have done a loan. Seriously? The place I bought it from, Lowes doesn't even require me to have a receipt should I need to go back and use the warranty because their customer information is all digital. He could have called Lowes if he was so concerned about theft. Instead, he just denied the loan and implied that I stole it. Didn't offer to check into anything other than asking another guy who didn't even turn around to look at me or his coworker and waved him and I off like he was brushing dirt from his shoulder. I guess he was too busy buying a few used tools from the scabby tweaker which probably actually were stolen, but hey they were used... Bewilderingly unprofessional and rude. Not to mention the reverse logic of taking a used tool over an unused tool in terms of resale value, though I would have been back for it on Friday either way. I will not be going back and will direct any and all whom I speak with on the subject to take their business elsewhere as well. I went across the street to Pawn 1 and they simply had me verify my identification and checked the SKU# on the tool using an online database to make sure it was not a stolen item, and we did business. They understand how to be courteous and professional, and will therefore be getting any future business from myself as well as any referrals for friends, family and coworker from here on out. Be careful what you ask for. Make sure they are giving you the correct item. The staff may be employees, but some of them don't know what they are selling. They won't tell you they are out of something, they will say "We have these though" because it might be the same brand but they never bothered to check the model. You can say 220 and they will hear 320. How "two" sounds like "three" is beyond me. Don't be in a hurry and don't trust the knowledge of the employees. Check everything because all sales are final. I want to like the this place because the selection for firearms is top notch. However, I have never dealt with a less friendly, almost as if your questions annoyed them, type of staff. The employees in the firearms department are mostly disinterested in helping you and they do not listen to your needs. An inexperienced employee sold me parts to build an illegal firearm, which luckily I found out in time to avoid a visit from the ATF. What a bunch of knuckleheads. So, I had an awful experience at sharp shooters where I went to go pick up my fire arm to own ,but they told me they sold it to another gentleman. I was furious none the less still had to get a refund. I asked for cash because a paid with cash they said sorry we don't have that much in our till. So naturally I had to take the refund on my card. The moral of this story is never ever go to sharp shooters they will sell their sold inventory if you dont pick it up in time.at I was Furious. I was one week late from picking it up. Also due to The Corona virus. This is where the story changes Drastically. I went to double Eagle pawn on Francis and met a incredible gentlemen name shawn. ( I hope that's how you spell your name bro) So I went there to look at a new AR15 and to buy an AR10. After selecting very carefully what I wanted came up with Both Diamondback AR10 and AR15. He was very honest about the build the quality the price he said this gun is a very quality rifle But when we ran my card for the remaining amount of the AR10 it would not go through. My bank had frozen my account due to some weird THI NG With my bank. I fought at that location of double Eagle pawn for least 45 minutes, They told me that I had to get and take a picture of the original receipt from sharpshooters Which I did not have. Have bought several guns from this store in the past. Went in with a friend of mine (ex military) and he was helping me find a more advanced weapon. After looking at several I selected my weapon of choice. We took it to the counter and then went to grab some ammo for the new gun as well as my others. Took the boxes up to the counter and the big bald goon working behind the counter looks me in the eye and says I don't believe this is for you and refuses to sell it to me. Now I have to admit I'm more than a little insulted. I explain that I am a return customer he can look me up, but no he doesn't care. Excuse me but what an ass!! I am an American citizen. I am a mother and a grandmother and I have the right to protect my family. I also have enough brains to enlist the help of a more knowledgeable trusted friend when I am learning about new methods of protection. I realize that I also have the prerogative to spend my money where I choose. That being said I will not be spending another penny here ever. I would give this place a negative 5 stars if I could, world worst pawnshop. 1 The shrink wrap everything so you can't see insides condition. I once asked if a game came with both discs and he did not want to open it up. He looks up the game and sees its price $15 under and completly lies to me says it does only have one disc and then he refuses to sell it. I know it was a lie because it was written all over his face and in his voice and just the way the scenario went down you could easily tell. I was far more mad about the customer service than not getting the game, you just don't do that to customer when its a mistake you made and $15 is really not that much conisder how cheap they buy things for. Its the only pawshop I have spent 5 minutes in because there games and electronics are so over priced. I have been a customer for years. A few weeks ago I bought a computer they said was NOT 'as is'. I got home and it didn't work, can't type, won't download anything, etc etc. I called and was told by whoever was in charge to bring it in, they could do store credit. I just tried to return it today and an 'owner' came out, rude as hell, started to grill me 'when did it start doing this' (it never worked) "well then WHY didn't you return it sooner" (bec i don't drive and only get into town once a month, the guy I talked to last week said that wouldn't be a problem). Then he ignored me, and went to help someone who had come in 5 mins after me. As I have a driver I'm paying waiting, I complained and he told me to take the broken piece of shit computer they sold me, and get out of his store. Needless to say, they've lost a long time customer, and I'm warning everyone else NOT to buy anything used from this store.
