I don't really do reviews anymore BUT I need to give a shout out to John at Double Decker. So I made a delivery order via grubhub (first mistake)... The Double Decker is bout 2-4 min away by car and 10 min at most by foot from my house and delivery time was supposed to be to be 20min. So after about an hour, John from DD calls me and states my order has been sitting at the counter for over 45+ min, apologizes I haven't received my order and he attempted to contact the GH driver several times. So I attempted to contact GH customer service and the only to speak with someone is via chat... However, I then get a call from GH during my chat session and states the restaurant is closing and they don't have any drivers to p/u order so they're just canceled my order. Ok... At this time, the wife is like Im hungry so wheres my burger. Im like, whelp, look like you and the pup don't get to eat tonight . She didn't really find that funny and then I receive another call from John. Long story short, he tells me that he really sorry but the driver never showed up. However since Im so close, he'll deliver my order himself. Im like, you just got off work so no worries, I'll figure something else out for dinner. He states it's not a big deal and he didn't want to see the food goto waste or my family go hungry. My guy drops off my order in 5 minutes and the wife the story ends on a happy note for the wife and my rottie is very appreciative to John for his burger patty. So, Im probably all over the place but once again shout out to John for all his help.BTW the food is good, prices are super reasonable, and obviously they have great people that work there so go support Double Decker if you live close or are in the area! My coworkers had a craving for burgers, so I decided to tag along with them. I wasn't particularly hungry, but decided to order a cheeseburger. MY GOODNESS, it was probably one of the best burgers I have had in awhile. I would say I order some fancy-pants burgers too. From the photo you can't tell what's going on, but the flavor of the meat with ingredients was perfect - however it was the very soft bun that won me over. It was so soft, like it was baked the same day. We all loved the burgers we had and they filled us right up. We didn't even have fries or anything else with our meal. Tried this place through Postmates. Aloha Burger: the brioche bun was soft but since the patty had teriyaki sauce, it became soggy and messy real fast. The patty was over cooked and was a bit dry but all of the sauces made it less dry. You can tell the patty was made fresh and not frozen. I added bacon in it and I'm glad I did because it gave it a crunch when everything else was soft and soggy. Onion rings: were delicious! Typical beer battered rings. I thought they would give more for the Large size. Sweet potato fries: weee really good. Some were crispy and some were soggy. Overall, decent burger joint. read more

You know what I like the absolute most about this place? They don't play bout they wings...and wings...are important to me. They're saucy and crispy but still juicy and always HOT! The Caesar salad is on point. A good portion for the price. Try all of them! The burgers here are satisfying and they even serve an Impossible burger for any plant-based babies out there. They serve fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, salads and even have locally loved Mitchell's ice cream. Most of the reviews are right about DD. Service isn't the greatest even though you order from the counter. The double decker with 2 patties is good but really greasy. This place was a bit of a disappointment. True about customer service, not the friendliest place on the block but not rude either. Just sort of "what can I get you? $35" then hands over the receipt. That's about it. The burger was good, but mostly for the fresh toppings and the decent bun. I got the Cali burger and onion rings. I usually LOVE onion rings but I couldn't eat more than a few. They weren't the worst but far from the best. Not to mention I had to pay an extra $4 to get sub for onion rings. Like I said, burger was good, but the patty was basic af. I could've made that at home or gone to Mcds. Def pre-frozen.
