Guys, it was THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I'D EVER HAD. It was lava hot, juicy, and greasy. It was also absolutely delicious. I was concerned that the thigh meat was going to taste different. But I could not tell. The fries were crinkle cut, but were seasoned well. Didn't even need ketchup for them. The place is very clean and they had 80s music playing in the background, my favorite decade of music. Not surprising, being an 80s kid. The damage all told, including a tip, was $25. Is it expensive? Yes. Is the quality and quantity of the food commensurate to the price? Also yes. Is it worth the hype? ABSOLUTELY YES. I was also informed there's a Hammond location. I will definitely bring my family there, as it's closer, to try them out as well.

Usually you have to buy it at a local market or know someone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They briefly went over a few recommendations. We started with of course, order of adobo fresh pork cracklings. Boneless chicken thigh, Yuzu aioli, slaw, housemade pickle. (Mild) I was curious about the Phuket Sauce. So I got an order too. This tastes great! Not spicy at all. Do not let the pepper fool you. We approached the counter not knowing if we had to place our order there or sit at a table to be waited on, waited for a few minutes when a young lady came from the back and just looked at us so we ask if we order there or sit down then she replied Here in a whispering voice that we could barely hear. We ask the difference in the size of a small and large order of livers, and she again just looked at us, so is said just give us a large order and she walked away and went to the back to bag a to go order for someone else with saying a word to us. We waited at the counter a few minutes to give her the rest of our order and she didn't come back. So on that note we left. I don't think they will make it with a very good restaurant directly across the street from the. GOOD LUCK.

I watch a lot of Japanese food videos - in the sense of "what does the average Japanese person eat"…read moreover Americanized fantasy of it. I've been to Fuji twice, and ignoring the rice burgers, this place has the sorts of dishes that the Everyman in Japan eats. My go to is their variety of don dishes. Could be something with the acoustics. Service is always nice, the waitress forgot to put my appetizer in on my first visit but water under the bridge. Kindly, I noticed that while tipping is done from an iPad at your seat; the waitress has always looked at the ceiling while you finish the tip process. It's nice to see someone alleviate a part of toxic tipping culture. This is going in my rotation of go-to's easily. Try the curry katsudon or the karaage don
