From the open office table in the dining room to the lack of training to service staff ... this will be a money pit to owners. Advice? The restaurant is kind of a gourmet burger place and everyone besides me ordered that. I saw that they offered a country fried wagu steak, and I ordered that. It came with garlic cream potatoes, honey-bourbon baked beans, and a cornbread pancake. The food came out quickly and was just as everyone ordered. The others in the party enjoyed their food, and I really, really, really liked mine (I would order again). The only complaints were about the seasoning. The service was incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything came out steaming hot and fresh. They even walked the food out to our car for us, which was such a nice touch. The place wasn't very crowded so got seated quickly. Ordered drinks and a few appetizers. Got the Coyote Balls and the chips with queso and salsa. Coyote Balls were excellent but the chips with queso and salsa were just ok. Got a lot of tortilla chips but look like got the bottom of the bag or someone used the bag of chips for a punching bag. Not very many whole chips. Then came time to order and one of us ordered ribs and were told the ribs had sold out and that all the bbq except the sausage was sold out. That's what we went for so would have been nice to know when we're seated that they were out of bbq. I get it, and know a lot of bbq places run out before end of the day. But most other places let customers know before being seated or at least when taking drink orders. So we had to shift gears and find something else. Wife and I shared a Chicken Fried Steak with Cole slaw and fries. Chicken fried steak was very large and didn't have a lot of breading and was ok. Slaw was ok and the fries were good. It's still the same thing eclectic Loco Coyote with the rustic Texas type decor. The troughs in the men's bathroom have wooden dividers between them now. Maybe just an off day or got there at a bad time. I'll give it a try again one of these days when in the area. Hopefully will have a better review next time. But for now sticking by my 3 stars.
