The drinks are fun, and there's a nice variety to choose from. My friend got a cosmic cowgirl it was cute and tasted great. I also got the espresso martini it was a good start to the night! For dinner, I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and everything was delicious! The food was definitely a highlight of the experience. The service was also excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We also happened to visit during their Oktoberfest trivia night, which was incredibly entertaining and made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, I'd give Bosque River Tap House a 4/5. Great food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere make it a spot worth visiting!

Cold beer! Cold beer! Ice cold beer! That's what this place is famous for:)…read more We were in town to visit my daughter and her husband and to see Tarleton State University play in the FCS playoffs. We needed some place to eat, and my daughter recommended this place. The location is easy to get in, and they have plenty of parking. After walking in, we found that they were not crowded yet. We were greeted quickly and taken to our seats in the main room. Our waiter brought us menus and water and left us to review the menu and decide on what we wanted. We ordered chicken sandwich, chicken strips. and a burger. It wasn't long until our food was delivered. Each order was just as we requested, hot, and tasty. It did not take long for our table to devour our meals I didn't get our waiter's name, but he did a good job. He probably is a student at TSU, as this business really caters to that crowd, and he fit the age. Will I return? Definitely when in Stephenville.

We got two shareable sides the mac n cheese and the baked potato and trust me when they say shareable they mean it they both could've fed 6 people!! We finished off the night with the cheesecake with homemade fudge and whipped cream it was 10/10. I would highly recommend we went for our anniversary and they made sure we had a great night!

I got the 2 meat plate (basket) with brisket and ribs and beans/potato salad for sides. With a small drink, the total was $10.50 which was fair. Brisket looked very lean and dry until I actually put a fork on it and it totally came apart. VERY tender and even moist -- excellent! The sauce is a sweet variety and very traditional tasting. Ribs were a tad dry but tasted great. Meat came right off the bone and was cooked perfectly. I could taste a bit of smoke on them but it wasn't too bad. One thing I did notice about the meats is that they don't have the char crust that most places have. They must cook them covered up which isn't bad - just another take. Potato salad was good and traditional. The beans were amazing. Usually sides don't blow your skirt up, but these were some of the best. They have a sweetness to them that blends in perfectly with the pepper/salty seasoning and makes for a unique taste. R&R was very good and I do believe I will be coming here again! Their new restaurant is very clean and has a great atmosphere.
