A bit of a backstory: I have been doing business at this particular store for 15 years. Up until recently, every experience has been positive. I was unable to enter because of locked doors. I watched as a young man who has waited on me more than once walk from behind the counter to the door by the restrooms, call out to me, and tell me that they were closed. I asked him what time they closed and he said "930. " I know from past experience and from the information online that they do not close until 10. So I asked him, "are you sure you close at 9:30?" He said, "yes. "I thanked him and left. The couple behind me commented that they thought subway closed at 10, and I replied that subway did in fact close at 10 and that we had just been lied to. I called the subway sandwich shop behind Chili's and they told me that not only did they close at 10, but that the other store on Washington closed at 10 also. I told the person with whom I spoke what had just happened and I was told to come on down and they would take care of me. I did, and they fixed me two wonderful sandwiches and did not charge me. It is a shame that the subway sandwich shop on Washington chooses to employ a liar who is a detriment to the business, but that's not my problem. It doesn't work for me and I don't have to do business there. There are always alternatives.

After the first bite I realized I had been very fortunate not to have been here since the 1980s. Yes, the hot food was hot and the cold food cold, but come on! Some things are best left in the past. "School lunch quality" is the best way to describe it. Just very sub par. We will not be back.
