I'm very disappointed. Saw picture attached on their IG and due to this Corona Virus social distancing, we decided to use their service for curbside pick up. First off, we placed the order 5 minutes before opening. We waited 20 minutes and then were told that this service was only when it was raining. So is this bad advertisement? There are people outside their truck not even practicing social distancing. I'm very upset that they promote a service but don't deliver especially during a time like this. If you want to feel safe while getting tacos, do not go here. They are not looking out for their customers' safety and have bad advertisement. read more

I had some tacos de carne asada and de cabeza. The meat was flavorful and juicy. The portions of meat in the tacos were plentiful! And I say anyplace that has salsa that tastes like home is legit! My husband got a Vampiro which is your choice of meat on a toasted/fried corn tortilla with melted cheese and cilantro and onions. He regrets only getting one. It was chilly out tonight even for me who is used to that Oklahoma cold weather but they have you covered with a Champurrado. Champurrado is like hot chocolate but with corn meal. It's sweet and slightly thick like porridge but you drink it. Must come place for good street tacos. They have plenty of side fixings and we ordered 7 tacos and a champurrado for $11! read more

Usually this food truck is amazing but recently I ordered carne Asada fries from this truck and when I got home, realized I paid for meat, but there was nothing but refried beans and cheese and jalapeños in my fries. I was extremely disappointed as I had to wait 25 minutes for the fries and got home and noticed that the meat that I had already paid for was not included. It looked like a younger staff, except for the cook and I'm pretty sure someone was just not paying enough attention while entering my order or did not indicate to the cook that I wanted Carne Asada fries. Beware, they will take your money and claim you did not order. Apparently I placed the order with Karla, I paid her, and she walked out of the truck. The guy making the food conveniently did not speak English and gesture that he doesn't have my order, shook his head and said no. I told him I called the cops. Phenomenal tacos with super fast service. Showed up and there was about 10 people ahead of me. The line moved fast and once order was placed it was a matter of 2-4 minutes then I was eating tacos. Great place to eat street tacos. The line is bit longer than usual. The word has got out that Doty's tacos are delicious. I have never been dissatisfied with their tacos. I usually order 5 tacos. 3 asada and 2 al pastor. The condiment selection is always fresh and dry away from the red salsa if you don't do spicy. DOTY's tacos is very busy during the evening hours. Found this place driving for Lyft on cinco de mayo. There was a small line out the door we tried the pastor tacos and are in love. We are used to going to Ensenada and getting street tacos that blow your mind with flavor and are flame spit cooked with pineapple and handmade tortillas, Doty's come close the flavors you find in Mexico. The prices have gone up I think they are now $2 a taco. ouch.... but you can't argue the quality of this food. The line is usually very long here, but worth the wait. The line keeps getting longer and longer so today I decided to stop & OMG this truck is delicious. $1 tacos full of meat! Burrito were amazing & seasoned well. Most place will give you too much beans and rice but this truck gives you a ton of meat. We had carne asada & chicken. The condiments are well made as well. There's a nice lady outside the truck that has candy fresh cook plantains & ELOTE! The elote was yummy! I went back twice for everything! I wish I would have taken pictures before we devoured it. BEST. TACOS. EVER. Doty's Tacos is located on Crenshaw Blvd right in front of Dat Moi market. They have a small parking lot to the side which fills up fast, especially weekends. There is always a line, but it moves pretty quickly. I always get their asada tacos, which are ONLY $1 each. Every order you make they give you a couple zip lock bags to put the toppings in. Right next to the truck there's a little vendor where a lady sells snacks. I always get the esquites (Mexican corn that's not on the cob) for $3 for the small size and $5 for the large size. I am obsessed with this taco truck and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious, filling meal for such a cheap price. read more

I usuly order5- 8 tacos and give $2-$4 tip because I'm a chill head/condiment queen!!! I always let the cashier know I'm taking extra cucumbers!! This was never a problem??!! IMO the best tacos in the South Bay. I've tried quite a few restaurants and food trucks in the neighborhood and my go to is always Doty's now. The tacos are delicious and the burritos are even better. That verde salsa that they put out is also the bomb! They're usually parked on Crenshaw near the corner of Rosecrans and lately they're so popular they have their own security/parking guy. Also, don't forget about the Churro Man parked next to the truck, his $1 bag of churros fresh out of the fryer are delicious. read more
