Car is running great, CarCams weren't tampered with and after a wash it's looking good as new! Only issue i found was my car interior now smells like oil, but easy fix! Thank you either way!

They addd the charge to do so and I paid for it. Once I picked the car up, I noticed they had the same lift I have at home, I've never had to remove my side skirts on my car in order to get it up in the air. Two out of two oil changes they made a complete mess of both mine and my wife's vehicle. On my car they missed about two quarts right on my alternator, requiring a replacement needed (wouldn't charge the battery, issue started day 1 on the way home from the shop). I called to let them know, they asked me to bring it back. I asked if I brought. It back and they found the oil spill was the issue, what would they do? They stated I'd have to pay for half of the alternator and install. So, take it back to the shop that already made mistakes, pay them more money, or do I just eat it and know the job was done right by having to take a day and do it myself? Either way, I'm out both time and money because of this shop. I replaced it myself and had to clean up the engine bay. The aftermarket exhaust and other pieces now have oil burned into them, and I have oil dripping ever so slightly everywhere I go. My wife's macan lower engine cover was soaked with oil, and it was very clear they also messed the oil fill hole, tracking the oil from bottom to top. Everything was again, caked in oil. They were the last ones to touch this car as well, and before them, the underpants didn't have a drop of oil on it. Unsure of why they continue to have so many problems on simple repairs like oil changes. I hate that I'm left to either clean up their mess, or bring it back into them and be without a car for even longer, crossing my fingers my car is in one piece when I get it back. They were the "go to" shop besides the local Porsche dealer here in town, but I guess you get what you pay for. Not impressed at all this far. Pics attached of both of our vehicles for reference.

Let me start by saying I have no experience with actual repairs at 27th street Automotive. I did…read morehowever take my truck to them to have a diagnostic done to find out what potential issues I needed work done. I was told water pump had a leak which I was aware of. I was told I needed rear brakes which would be $1000.00. They also said I needed new lifters and cam shaft $8000.00 . I had my lifters and cam shaft done less than 30k miles ago and it is more likely that a single lifter needs replaced rather than what they questionably suggested. I paid $195.00 for the diagnostic and there wasnt even a breakdown in costs for suggested repairs they never actually did an inspection of the lifters. I also will mention that despite me being very clear with my instructions they almost went ahead with work I didn't approve. I did the brakes myself took 20 minutes and $64 dollars in break pads not really clear why they were going to charge $1000.00 .. My neighbor suggested I go here she had her brakes done cost her $1300 this is when I realized that this shops primary purpose is to make money obviously every business goal is to make money but I stir clear of places that are straight up taking advantage of people by overcharging for work they do. The suggested rebuild of lifters and cam shaft $8000 would be a comparable price if I actually needed a complete replacement done however this was not actually the case. I had an oil change that same day prior to having them do a diagnostic estimate and not metal was scene in my oil change. You would clearly notice metal in oil change if there was damage to the cam shaft from lifters. When I went to pick up the truck and mentioned that I had already had the lifters and cam shaft replaced less than 30k ago there was a bit of an awkward back tracking on what they supposedly diagnosised as the problem. I didn't go back to have any work done because they didn't actually seem to have my best interest in mind as a customer. My review is based on my experience that I would be way overcharged for work and that they didn't actually diagnosis the problem that I paid them to diagnosis. Absolutely would not trust them to do the work and am more than happy to compensate a shop for work done but not 27th Street Automotive. BUYER BEWARE!!

They got her right in, the service was top notch, and the cost was extremely reasonable (she had done a little research on the issue ahead of time). She will absolutely go back to Meineke any time she needs work done. Many mechanics would have taken advantage of her inexperience, I am thankful Meineke treats their customers otherwise.

The next morning, Feb. 14, the tow truck driver towed my SUV to Meineke Car Care Center, 9688 W. Fairview Ave., Boise. The manager at Meineke called me late that afternoon to say he hadn't had yet put my car up on a hoist, but I would obviously need a new tire and he suggested replacing all four because they were 75% worn. I asked what brand of tires he would suggest, and he said "Cooper." I agreed to four new tires, and the manager told me the "out the door" price, which included the alignment, was $687. The next morning, I spoke with another employee in the shop to ascertain exactly which Cooper tire would be put on, and I was told "Discoverer Endura Max." Again, I questioned the price and it was confirmed at $687. On the afternoon of Feb. 15, I picked up my car and was stunned when the employee at the counter charged me $790! I told him I had twice confirmed the cost and was told it was $687. In a very surly manner, he said, "OK, I'll give you the alignment free." I replied that I didn't want him to give me anything free. I simply wanted to pay the quoted price. He adjusted the bill to $690, which I paid. I asked if there was any warranty information on the tires, and he replied that it was "in the computer." Again, I asked for a written warranty, and he said nothing was available. The receipt I was given states Cooper 235/5 Cooper 235/55R18. When I googled this product description, it says that these tires are Cooper Endeavor Plus All-Season. I had been told initially that the tires were Cooper Discoverer Endura Max. Here are the problems I asked the shop in writing to clarify, but got no response: · The manager telling me I needed four new tires without even putting my car up on the hoist. · The price quoted was $687; the price when I picked up the car was $790. · No warranty information given to me. · Different tires were put on than what was quoted to me. I am a disabled 65-year-old woman, and I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I treat people fairly and expect the same in return. However, in my dealings with this Meineke shop, I left feeling like it was a shady business and I wondered if I'd been taken advantage of. Maybe that's not the case, but it's how I felt. I assume that this is not the image that Meineke wants to project, but they did not bother to address my concerns.
