Wow!! I finally found a mechanic shop that I trust! Joe is the one worked on my Car and he took great care of me! Not only that he's a Christian as well! He is someone you can trust with your Car and that's not very common nowadays! read more

We were on our way thru town with car issues. Dale's got us in and put up with the family taking over the lobby area. We were fixed and on our way in no time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks guys. Gage Family read more

Took it in for a coolant leak got the car back 2 weeks later low on coolant brought it back they "fixed" it brought it home and go out this morning to a driveway full of coolant. It never even made a drip on the driveway before I brought it there. read more

BEWARE! They put a Bible verse on the sign but this may be a front so you drop your guard. I brought my car into them to test because the A/C only worked at higher RPMs. They said the entire A/C system needs to replaced -- over $2000 quoted. They said the pump is bad and the refrigerant level is full. The reason the entire system needs to be replaced is due to their "policy" when a pump needs replacing -- particles in the lines. I took the car to another shop a week later for a 2nd look. Shop was recommended by family. They added 1/2 pound of refrigerant because it was low and said the system may have a leak but is working fine now. $30 for the refrig. $30 vs $2000...you do the math! BEWARE! read more

I highly recommend Dale's. They were quick, honest and fair. They had my car done in one day.

I have used these guys for years and couldn't recommend them enough. As a young woman who knows virtually nothing about cars, they always took the time to explain everything in terms I could understand and answer my million questions. I have used these guys for years and couldn't recommend them enough. I've taken two cars there over the years for pre-purchasing inspections as well, and purchased both cars they recommended and have had no problems. read more

I would have selected zero stars for this review, but yelp made me select at least one so I could leave a description below. This place absolutely tried to rip me off and took me for being an idiot. Went in with a radiator issue, which was a small crack in my radiator and needed a new radiator replaced and he came up with telling me that I had a blown head gasket also and it was going to cost me anywhere from 6000 to 8000. And the obvious part that he was trying to rip me off was when I asked for the receipt with all the issues he found and a quote for what he was telling me he could not produce a receipt. Only thing he handed me was a piece of paper an electrical test. After bringing it to my regular mechanic ended up getting a new radiator installed for $800. Moral of my story is always get a second opinion from a few mechanics and don't trust any mechanic that will not give you a piece of paper with a quote of the suppose of issue that they came across. I would never bring my vehicle to this place or recommend anybody ever goes here if you walk in and you look like your clueless in their eyes they are going to try to rip you off for extra thousands of dollars read more

I called a while ago to schedule a quote for AC, and was told on the phone it would probably be thousands of dollars.... Thousands. Anything less and he wouldn't be able to stand by the work once it's off the lot. I was genuinely baffled. Anyway I got my AC fixed for $565 elsewhere and it's been running fine. ‍ read more

I called Dale's a few weeks ago to see if they could get me in for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. Unfortunately, they were booked out a little far so I made arrangements somewhere else, BUT, I'm giving this 5 star review because the man I spoke to on the phone was REALLY nice and helpful. He really tried to get me in and I appreciate his friendliness and his effort. I didn't get his name but he was great! I'll definitely be calling Dale's back for other car care needs. read more

I went to Dale's Auto Care and explained the issues with my vehicle. I was told that I can make an appointment, so I did. The appointment was going to be two weeks out, and was scheduled for 10/5/22. I showed up on 10/5 and talked to the same guy I originally talked to two weeks before. Long story short, the appointment was never booked and I ended up leaving. I will definitely never do business at Dale's Auto Care. read more

Great experience. Check engine light came on while traveling. Got me right in and fixed and back on my way. Very satisfied!

Very professional! My AC was not working and I had an estimate done by another mechanic and he wanted to replace the whole system. Took my car to Dale's and they quoted far far less. Replaced the compressor and my AC is working wonderfully! Very fair priced and did an amazing job! read more

Super service, excellent communications. Quoted a price and stuck with it even though I asked for additional services. Will definitely do more business. read more

I had taken our car to a few shops around town for quotes and a general concern that there was something else wrong besides the entire clutch. Sam took the time and diagnosed the car and found it was only a slave cylinder! They treated me with respect and listened like I knew what I was talking about! I will definitely be back to see Sam and Russ again! read more

Took my diesel truck to Dales Auto Care for fuel system problems. Sam and his team diagnosed and repaired the problem in a timely manner. Excellent customer service and quality work. I would definitely recommend them!! read more

Traveling cross country with auto problems. Sam was completely booked but fit us right in due to our traveling situation. He was so professional and kind. They checked and fixed everything within an hour. Tod checked us out and explained in detail what was going on with our car. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. Fair price. Service above and beyond. No scams . This is where to go for a honest assessment. I've overhauled motors before, caught everything I thought we would need and even more. Thanks for a job well done. read more

My experience with Dale's has been nothing short of awesome! While there is always good and bad news in the auto repair industry, I've determined that Sam is one of those old fashioned guys who will bend over backwards to do the right thing IOT make things right. I have been taking my F150 to him for a year and a half and while I've had my share of not so good news, I can say that I will never take any of my vehicles to anyone else. He has earned our business for life!! read more

We took our 2003 Acura into Dales late on a Friday afternoon because it was making a loud strange noise in the brakes area. They found a rock chip that had lodged in the rotor. They removed it and sent us on our way. They could have said it was something else and charged us but instead they were 100% honest with us. That shows me a lot and I will definitely use them in the future for our automotive needs when we move to Boise. read more

When my car was broken and unable to even be driven to their shop they went out of their way to help me get it to their shop, as a single and broke mom this made all the difference in the world, I wouldnt have been able to afford the repair if I had to pay for a tow. They fixed it very quickly so I was able to get back to work and get my kids to school. It was a fairly small part but needed a ton of work to actually get to, they charged me less than I could've bought the part for myself for the part I needed and their labor cost was more than fair. They were so nice and easy to do business with, just very honest and straight to the point, I think there was even a discount for paying cash, totally worth a stop at the bank. I know several mechanics and am very aware of some shops trying to take advantage of young females not being very knowledgeable on cars and that was definitely NOT an issue here. They were very honest, fair and treated me very well. I would recommend them to anyone with full confidence. Also Jackson, who does the emissions tests in their parking lot is a great guy and helped me a ton when I had an emissions problem, hes the best and friendliest emissions van in Boise. read more

These guys are awesome. Best customer service I've ever gotten from a mechanic shop. I've taken both my vehicles in for major repairs after being quoted ridiculous amounts from the dealerships. Todd kept me updated regularly and the bill was much less than expected. Vehicles were fixed right with no future problems. Highly recommend read more

Great service! Very personable and honest! I took my work truck into Dales and I couldn't be happier! They were so personable and friendly, not to mention they found the leak in my radiator and gave me some recommendations, with no pressure sales. Great to see a honest professional auto shop! I will be returning! read more

Took an older Mercury Sable to the to get it fixed because i live near this shop. They told me don't worry we know what's wrong and we guarantee our work 100%. Well I ended up having to take it back three more times to fix the same problem before I gave up and took it elsewhere, and they charged me for the work and parts each time. So it seems their guarantee is not as great as they say. read more

These guys were real crooks! when they told me it was $600 for a simple brake job I took it to the dealer who only charged me $150 besides the fact that they were totally unprofessional and rude. I highly recommend you stay away from these guys. read more

I drove in after my car over heated having only two days to get it fixed. They squeezed me in and took great care of me! Best guys ever

I'm driving a '93 Buick, so a decent mechanic is essential. These guys fill the bill, replacing fuel pump and filter at a reasonable rate in a decent amount time. PLUS they looked the old girl over and gave me a heads up on potential things to watch for in the future WITHOUT trying to add to the bill. And they're on a bus line so it's not hard to get to them. Grateful for their service! read more
