Took it in for a coolant leak got the car back 2 weeks later low on coolant brought it back they "fixed" it brought it home and go out this morning to a driveway full of coolant. It never even made a drip on the driveway before I brought it there. read more

BEWARE! They put a Bible verse on the sign but this may be a front so you drop your guard. I brought my car into them to test because the A/C only worked at higher RPMs. They said the entire A/C system needs to replaced -- over $2000 quoted. They said the pump is bad and the refrigerant level is full. The reason the entire system needs to be replaced is due to their "policy" when a pump needs replacing -- particles in the lines. I took the car to another shop a week later for a 2nd look. Shop was recommended by family. They added 1/2 pound of refrigerant because it was low and said the system may have a leak but is working fine now. $30 for the refrig. $30 vs $2000...you do the math! BEWARE! read more

I would have selected zero stars for this review, but yelp made me select at least one so I could leave a description below. This place absolutely tried to rip me off and took me for being an idiot. Went in with a radiator issue, which was a small crack in my radiator and needed a new radiator replaced and he came up with telling me that I had a blown head gasket also and it was going to cost me anywhere from 6000 to 8000. And the obvious part that he was trying to rip me off was when I asked for the receipt with all the issues he found and a quote for what he was telling me he could not produce a receipt. Only thing he handed me was a piece of paper an electrical test. After bringing it to my regular mechanic ended up getting a new radiator installed for $800. Moral of my story is always get a second opinion from a few mechanics and don't trust any mechanic that will not give you a piece of paper with a quote of the suppose of issue that they came across. I would never bring my vehicle to this place or recommend anybody ever goes here if you walk in and you look like your clueless in their eyes they are going to try to rip you off for extra thousands of dollars read more

I went to Dale's Auto Care and explained the issues with my vehicle. I was told that I can make an appointment, so I did. The appointment was going to be two weeks out, and was scheduled for 10/5/22. I showed up on 10/5 and talked to the same guy I originally talked to two weeks before. Long story short, the appointment was never booked and I ended up leaving. While there is always good and bad news in the auto repair industry, I've determined that Sam is one of those old fashioned guys who will bend over backwards to do the right thing IOT make things right. I have been taking my F150 to him for a year and a half and while I've had my share of not so good news, I can say that I will never take any of my vehicles to anyone else. When my car was broken and unable to even be driven to their shop they went out of their way to help me get it to their shop, as a single and broke mom this made all the difference in the world, I wouldnt have been able to afford the repair if I had to pay for a tow. They fixed it very quickly so I was able to get back to work and get my kids to school. It was a fairly small part but needed a ton of work to actually get to, they charged me less than I could've bought the part for myself for the part I needed and their labor cost was more than fair. They were so nice and easy to do business with, just very honest and straight to the point, I think there was even a discount for paying cash, totally worth a stop at the bank. I know several mechanics and am very aware of some shops trying to take advantage of young females not being very knowledgeable on cars and that was definitely NOT an issue here. They were very honest, fair and treated me very well. I would recommend them to anyone with full confidence. Also Jackson, who does the emissions tests in their parking lot is a great guy and helped me a ton when I had an emissions problem, hes the best and friendliest emissions van in Boise. read more

We took our 2003 Acura into Dales late on a Friday afternoon because it was making a loud strange noise in the brakes area. They found a rock chip that had lodged in the rotor. They removed it and sent us on our way. They could have said it was something else and charged us but instead they were 100% honest with us. Took an older Mercury Sable to the to get it fixed because i live near this shop. They told me don't worry we know what's wrong and we guarantee our work 100%. Well I ended up having to take it back three more times to fix the same problem before I gave up and took it elsewhere, and they charged me for the work and parts each time. So it seems their guarantee is not as great as they say. read more
